You should have set up the dough in progressively thicker piles, IE 3 tubs, 4 tubs, 5 tubs, etc. So you could see how much dough is needed to stop a particular round. Also, get a small metal detector to find the round.
For videos like this, I think Matt should have one of those wand metal detectors so he can find how far the bullets go without having to dig into everything👍🏽👍🏽
Between the perfectly executed song and the fact that Matt kept eating chocolate chips when looking for bullets, this is one of my favorite videos, i was smiling the whole time.
Just a heads up, Matt. If you lift the charging handle up before you pull it on the Lynx, it disconnects from the barrel and makes it significantly easier to pull. Pro tip!

The AUG was the first rifle I ever fired. My uncle took me to the range when they were doing a show. They asked someone from the crowd I raised my hand(I was 10). Gave me a huge respect for the power of a rifle. Wish I would have hit target lol

Would pick up the metal frame of the table. Even if you tried to build a table out of wood you can't use screws or nails or detector would pick it all up. In this case the table frame is steel it would go off everywhere.
i think he has has messed up a little bit with the metric system there. there is no way that this where acutally 9000m (9000 Meters = 9 Kilometers = about 5,59 miles) or maybe it is just my shitty little laptop screen and i can't see how far it really is

9:15 The Steyr AUG A1 (in Austria also known as StG 77) has a 1,5x magnification, circle reticle scope attached to the housing body. Shot this thing while serving the austrian army as a medic. Nice gun, barely had jams. Mostly jams occured firing with the so called K-Gerät, which was some sort of a plug we put onto/into our muzzles so we could fire blanks (for training purposes). Without the K-Gerät the gun wouldn circle due to low preassures in the barrel. Oh and one more thing Matt, you can equip this beatuy with a long barrel and turn it into a LMG in like 15 sec. ^^ Greetings from Austria!

That .22 hornet is at least twice maybe even 3 times, depending on what grain you're using, the speed of that 9 mm. I'm not surprised it made a bigger hole it probably disintegrated on impact.
Next time you're shooting at something you don't want to dig through, you should stick cardboard in at regular intervals. Then you can just check the cardboard for holes.
You could put cardboard spacers at like 10 inch intervals to take out so you know roughly how far the bullets go through the more nasty things you are penetration testing
Maybe a metal detector would be a good investment for the channel? Considering how many random, dense, and/or weird targets you have used... even just a hand held version would be beneficial.

Stock magnification on an Aug scope is 2x, with a ring reticle. My dad had one, alas I never got to shoot it since it was chambered left handed and I didn't want to get hit in the face with hot brass. I know it's an easy conversion but we never got around to it. Makes me sad since we had to auction off his gun collection when he died, I was living in California and couldn't receive them and, alas, badly needed the money. I miss the Aug and the MP5 the most. I had my stepmother hold onto the USP compact .45 I got for Christmas when I was 13 though, out of sentimentality mostly (and it's a fantastic pistol, figured I might want it down the years). This video indirectly made me nostalgic for childhood Christmas, cheers Matt.

Pro tip: when youre shooting a mound of *insert play dough consistency item* put cardboard or parchment paper incrementally through it so you can see if stuff went that far or not. Easier than digging

Pro tip: when youre shooting a mound of *insert play dough consistency item* put cardboard or parchment paper incrementally through it so you can see if stuff went that far or not. Easier than digging
