Jacub seems to be your name. So, Jacub, when I came here, I knew nothing about overlays. And now, thanks to you, I know everything, everything, everything ;-) To be honest, your presentation style is exactly what is helpful for the practical user, not for the scientist who may theoretically see some nuance or other that needs to be explained in a scientific report. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Undoubtedly The Very Bezt channel for luminar and alzo on photo editing. Excellent. Appreciate if you can do a tutorial on creating cinema like color grading, orange teal, LUTs, etc. Thanks
super tuto ! does 1.8 new version fixes all these problems : importing with explorer one first and then other ones, mixing 800 images of different categories in a same "myimages" list/folder, stretch png to full image changing proportions... ?
Thank you for watching our Luminar NEO tutorial. Please help us build our channel by letting us know what else you'd like to learn or discover in Luminar NEO 👍
Hi Jake thanks for your series of enlightening ,easily absorbing and helpful tutorials on Luminar Neo. I have really learnt a lot on how to use the application. please can you help me on how to use Luminar Neo to switch on light bulbs and give it a natural glowing spread. Thanks in advance.
Hi Kareem. Thank you so much for your lovely comment and tutorial suggestion 😍. The task of adding light and glow to the light bulbs is relatively easy in Luminar NEO, and we would love to create a tutorial about that. But in the meantime, can you please help us understand a little further what kind of photo you are thinking about?! Is it a street lamp, part of an interior photo or a close up shot of a light bulb?!
Thank you much for this! But is there a way to categorize the layers?? Or do I have to put all 800 objects under My Objects? That would make for a LOT of scrolling!
Hi Paul, thank you for your comment. At this moment, there isn't a way to organise the assets. However, as we work closely with Skylum, we've been told that such a system is coming soon. So let's hope we see it in one of the subsequent updates.
@@CleverPhotographer Hello Jakub, do you know if by now it's possible to create own folders, or ist there still just the one? Thank you for this video!
I just wrote a tool to convert an image folder of your choice to a fully compatible overlay folder/group. It wasn't hard to figure out how it's done. I wonder why Skylum didn't release an in-built solution yet.
Jakub thanks for your regular educative and highly enlightening tutorials. I always look forward to them more and more. I have a little problem with using layers in Luminar NEO. I always do my basic editing in Lightroom before exporting the file to Neo. when I do , layer tool in my Neo doesn't seem to work. please what can I do?
Hi Kareem, thank you for a lovely comment. I am sorry to hear you having difficulty to use Luminar NEO's layers. When you say it doesn't work, what exactly doesn't work?! Maybe you can mention few more details, so we can be little more helpful. By the way, Luminar NEO is an excellent tool in combination with Lightroom, so I don't think that you doing anything wrong there.
I am using Luminar Neo current version 1.18.2. Trying to load the overlays I just purchased but, following the video, when I right click on the single overlay loaded under My Images, there is no other menu opened. How to batch load Overlays with the current version?
Very comprehensive explanation Jacub. Now I know how to import overlays I just bought power bundles like such as sky collections, overlays collections, presets collections, backgrounds collections, LUTS collections, texture’s collection, working layers, can you please walk me through on how to import my collections to Luminar Neo? Thanks 🙏 this is Fil
Hi, thank you for your comment and for your question. I think that this would be a question for Luminar's support team. Try to get in touch with them and see if they can help.
Hi Srikanth Hegde, thank you for your question. I am afraid that there isn't an option to merge layers like in Photoshop at this moment. The only way to do this is to export your file in full settings (Format: TIFF, Compression: None, Depth: 16 bits, Resolution: min 300 pixel/inch) to not lose any data and then import it again and edit it.
Wow, you got so much videos. Iam searching for a tutorial where I can put many photos together. Like light painting photos on a 1:10 scale car. Also with different focus points to get the whole car sharp. You got any video for that?
This may help a lot of people With Lumina AI and nero running on an AMD 6core core 12 threads 16 gig ddr4 ram and fast m2 drive. Running this software shows very low ram and CPU usage but hard drive going crazy and slowing the system to crawl cant even play a mp3 with using nero. I have had this problem for ages but now it seems its down to were Nero writes edits to save cpu and ram by default it writes to users pictures I had 5300 files in there and several gigs. This may happen to others if you run MS onedrive or Google backup by default it backs up the pictures folder so what happens is Nero writes a gig to the drive and Onedrive backs it straight away so 2 gig writing to disk and 1 gig going to the cloud which slows any system to a crawl. So if your having problems delete the folders in picture Nero complain to create a new catalogue set it to folder on a fast drive that Onedrive or Google don’t backup
i can't use overlays since ultimate update. LUMINAR 1.10. I can't use overlays off LUMINAR and I can't add manually new overlays. I reinstall program but the problem continue. It's a problem beacause I can't buy new overlays beacause I can't use.😠

When I right clicked on the image I imported in the layers it just said hide or remove. No way to access the source folder. And how do you remove images from my images?
Hi Phillip, thank you for your question and your comment. The options you described are from the Layers panel after adding the image (overlay, texture...). When you click on the picture, you only get the two options you mentioned. To see what I described in the video, click on the plus sign in the Layers panel and then right-click on any image in the My Images section. There you will get the "Show in Finder" and "Remove" options. So that also answers your second question about how you remove the images. You right-click on them in My Images, and there should be an option to Remove. If you need further help, do not hesitate to write us directly 👉 info@cleverphotographer.com

Great video saved me having to add them one at a time. It's a real shame you cannot do it by folder though
Thank you, we hope this feature is coming soon…
If I purchase CP overlays, can I use them in all of my photo processing applications (Affinity, Luminar Neo and AI)?
Yes, the product include video tutorials for all of the applications you mentioned 😀

This seems not working anymore (version 1.12.2). Nothing happens when I right click on 'my images'. Had to import my textures one by one.
Very strange... it still working for us Henk. What system you using?
This means duplicating assets. Will it work with aliases? Neo is rapidly filling my hard drive!
