Guy, being in Berlin you should have visited (forget all the tourist traps) Spandauer Altstadt and Zitadelle, Potsdam, Babelsberg, Prenzlauer Berg, Schlachtensee/Krumme Lanke, Alt-Tegel, Lichterfelder/Zehlendorf, Viktoria Park, Schöneberger Südgelände, Grunewald (Grunewalder Turm) and much much more
We love you guys so much! You're absolutely right about experiences are so much more important than having money or things.Thank you for promoting this message!
Do you know what Köpenick is famous for? The "Hauptmann von Köpenick". Google it. The lieutenant of Köpenick was a shoemaker in 1902 who found a uniform, dressed up, found some guarding soldiers and ordered them to follow him to the local city hall where he robbed the city cash. Real story. You will find a statue of him in front of the city hall.
Lovely greetings from köpenick, nice video. btw, At 10:00min you both stood next to the smallest brewery in germany...😉 and a local recommend is the restaurant sandmann...its known as the house of schnitzel.its around the corner where you both start the video😁 have fun here and may you make another one about my home area.
It's so strange, but lovely seeing you guys in Europe. It feels more relatable for me, because it's obviously what I'm used to. Gotta love those cobbled streets!! Making memories is more important than a bank full of savings, can't take it with you!
Great video 😍, it's nice to do the usual tourist stuff and the must see stuff but my favourite memories are always the moments when we've just relaxed and enjoyed the great atmosphere of a place 🙂. Definitely adding this place to the must see list 😍
For sure.. I think I like those memories the most because they feel the most unique. Sometimes it's great to see the "must see" places, but it's also nice to have an experience that is different from everyone else.. :)
"Good old trusty God!!!" 😂. Europe does have a unique beauty - great to see your faces beaming with happiness and recounting your success.....you made the leap of faith and how worth it it has been and will continue to be.....and hey....you broke even. We are 100% in agreement with you about controlling your life and the way you choose to live it. Cheers to Gluhwein and apple pie 😍....and hopefully meeting up soon xx
Thanks guys!! It feels good to be back in Europe after such a long time.. and it feel especially good to reflect on what we have done over the last couple of years. Yes, xmas drinks is a must!!
I would be appreciated, if tourists like you would concentrate on the other sites of berlin. Because then Köpenick could remain the living paradise and not a "Hipster"-area
The other day we saw a magazine on a train featuring the 'Hidden Cities' powered by Google. It seemed like a cool 'audio guides' or more than that for Berlin (east mostly, I think). Maybe check and review that? ;)
Thank you for this Vid. I live in Berlin Köpenick and it is true. This ist a beautiful and lovely place in Berlin .
Love your message. It is such a pleasure to see the two of you traveling and really experiencing places and people. And the story that lies beneath.

Captain of Köpenick and in 1906, to be precise.
That's an amazing story!!
The movie is a commentary on the militarization of Prussian civil society at that time. It’s quite a dark story, actually.
