Love this pump. Used for 12 weeks on my 2nd child. Now on my 3rd child & I used medela electric hospital grade pump for 10 weeks. I've recently switched back to this manual pump & I'd forgotten how good it is! Using this on one side, Hakka on other & then I swap. Would recommend 😊
I just wanted to say thank you so much for this vid! I am 39+3 and have had a try with my pump the other day just to see if it might help me express any colostrum (I haven't been able to get a single drop by hand) and it was soooooo painful, but after watching your vid, I see I was using the pump incorrectly. I tried today how you demonstrated and no pain whatsoever! Thank you so very much!
I've watched a lot of videos out there showing how to use Medela harmony but yours was by far the best. Thoroughly clear, informative and enjoyable. Thank you! First time mama soon.
Please make a video on the different methods on how to pump manually using this manual medela pump. You have a very calming voice, thankyou so much for this educational video!
I’ve tried to use this hand pump so many times and hardly anything comes out it’s basically just drops and I’ve watched so many videos trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong and I’m not. With my electric pump I get 3oz per breast so I’m not sure why I’m barely getting anything with the hand pump when I’ve always been told you get more using it. I wish TH-cam would allow videos of people actually pumping instead of just a representation of how it’s supposed to go so that way I could actually see when the milk is supposed to start coming out. I want to see if I can get more with the hand pump but it’s such a hassle. Been trying for 15 minutes and there’s barely anything in the catcher bottle 🤦🏼♀️
I’m having the same issue. I’m wondering if my issue is the suction isn’t strong enough. I was looking through comments trying to find which silicone piece fits this pump like she recommends towards the end for stronger suction
Which silicone piece fits to help increase suction (that you talk about in the end)? I’m having difficulty getting any milk with this pump ands wondering if it’s the suction but my electric pump piece doesn’t fit this pump.
Would a silicon flange such as the lackteck brand work with this pump? I’ve found to have success with those flanges but would love to have the Medela Harmony pump hand pump.
Hello. Can I use the manual pump adaptor with the electric pump? I mean can I remove the manual handle and insert the tube that comes with the electric pump in there?
Hi... I was having low suction problem with the pump... it seems like can’t hold the suction, and i heard some hissing sound when I press the handle. Possibly any losing part?
Awesome video!! I have two of the harmony pumps from my hospital stay that I'm switching to from my lansinoh electric pump. Your video is very informative, thank you!
Can I use this pump daily as my main pump at work? I don’t mind the labor. I need to use it about 4 times per day five days a week. You mentioned occasional use but what if I want to use it primarily since I react better to this over my spectra. Thank you!

You have a very calming voice / demeanor ! My manual says the only part that can’t be sanitized is the handle
In Alabama, just had a power outage the other day(5 hours). Had to use the manual pump. Really glad the hospital provided 1 for me to keep.

Is there a certain way to hold it so it doesn’t hurt your hand? I’m having a hard time relaxing because my hand gets tired and hurts quick
This breast pump is best for occasional use. The handle rotates to the sides for more comfort.
Simply thank you. Buying this as a present for the wife.

I just realized I put the diaphragm and the stem in my microwave sterilizer bag today 😬. I noticed it does a small hissing sound when I try to pumo
What is the difference between new harmony and old? Seems like less parts in new. Which is good? Is there any other difference?
Would a silicon flange such as the lackteck brand work with this pump? I’ve found to have success with those flanges but would love to have the Medela Harmony pump hand pump.
Hi! Yes, LacTeck flanges will work with the Harmony Pump. Just tested them together! :)
Hello. Can I use the manual pump adaptor with the electric pump? I mean can I remove the manual handle and insert the tube that comes with the electric pump in there?
Yes, you can. Always inspect tubing for any milk residue or mold as it will be an open system with no back-flow protection.
Hi... I was having low suction problem with the pump... it seems like can’t hold the suction, and i heard some hissing sound when I press the handle. Possibly any losing part?
Hi! It could be loose parts or time to replace parts. Also, please ensure that a tiny white band is still intact where it connects to the handle.
What I do if it hurts when I pump?
I always learn something new from you! This is super helpful!
Happy to hear my videos are helpful. :)
