Look CLOSELY in your MENU for "GAUGE SET UP" then scroll DOWN to find "TRANS TEMP". I have noticed that my TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURES are abnormally HIGH -- which is a "RED FLAG" for a problem later. In the video his "TRANS TEMP" is about 106F and mine is about 200F - this affects the shifting as it gets hotter than the engine temp. Sometime soon the TRANY will go to the shop for diagnosis.
I’ve been back and forth with the product. I have an 2005 ram Laramie 5.7 mines is awd so I’m not sure if it reads the transmission and transfer case in that situation.
Honestly i feel that Diablo or sct would be a better option, while I have never personally used either I feel like the bully dog is out of date. Sct owns bully dog and when I was trying to download my tune I had to go through sct to get one
What I did was go to the fuel box under the hood. Turn the ignition key on, use a tester to see what 10A fuses are on with ignition. Turn the key off, make sure the same fuse turns off with key off. Then use that one. I then use their little jumper to the fuse, install it. Turn ignition back on and verified there was power at the jumper. Ran the cable, boom.

Does the tuner make it shift smoother?
Honestly I haven’t really noticed maybe when I give it more throttle but cruising seems the same
How did you get the trans temp on yours? Mine (05 cummins) only shows boost, fuel pressure, EGT and coolant. Any insight would be appreciated!

About 1 mpg to be honest, definitely did add slightly more HP/TQ, was able to roast 33x12.5s where as I wasn’t able to before the tuner

What other engine mods have you done?
Cold air intake, Flowmaster super 10 muffler and I’ve cleaned the throttle body.
Mods coming soon are MSD coils and true dual exhaust
