The Wonderhorse came out in 1939 This rocking horse had a wood seat and handles on a red painted Masonite body with black stencil detail and set on a spring platform. Made me a little sad thinking about the people who once loved this house. Enjoyed this very much.
This one was truly exceptional......that camera work in the beginning as you are approaching was simply brilliant. My gratitude for your beautiful production.
For all the decay this house has gone through I still see a lot of what it was... The wall paper was colorful and cheery and the round fireplaces were so unique and beautiful. I also love the large arched window with the stained glass. Nature is taking it back now, but I'm sure there were many happy memories made there by a family at some point. It was loved and that love still shines through somehow. Great house and thank you for the tour.
Hey Grace thanks for watching! I`m glad it is still standing, has taken a bit of a beating by the looks, very run down but also very old and Beautiful :-) Birds and bees home now! :-)
I have seen others’ attempts to document these abandoned homes.... oh my gosh...no comparison.. you do them the justice that they deserve. In my opinion, the others are amateurs... can no way compare to the job that you do. Thank you!
Hey Phyllis I really appreciate those comments as I do try to give these place another chance to be appreciated before they are gone forever! :-) Even if there is not much left inside I really enjoy capturing the style of the home and craftsmanship of those vintage era`s gone bye. Glad you enjoy them too, have many more to come and on the radar, :-)
Omg, we can hear those bees! Very glad you’re out safe and sound! What a gorgeous house she was in her day. You can just see a young bridegroom having built this beautiful home to bring his new bride home to. Perhaps she loved roses. And yeah, I’ve got a wild imagination. Lol. That being said, what an awesome video you brought us under great duress. Thanks so much for your fortitude and determination but think those bees scared us all in the end. Thanks again!
Glad you enjoyed Sedora :-) I have come across lots of bees lately and they are pretty fine if you are not right up on the hive but these ones were still settling after swarming. This old home I found amazing even if it is quite run down, never seen the old round fireplaces ever before! Cheers for watching :-)
The home must have been beautiful at one time. The details in the woodwork and unique fireplaces etc. the house doesn’t look that big from the outside very surprising how spacious it was in the inside. Late 1800 early 1900. Great video
Yes Linda it was larger than I expected also, the date you say it what many others say too! So cool. Must have been the pride and joy for a few generations i`d say! Cheers for watching :-)
It had so much charm...seemed to be a happy place at one time. All the nature around the area would make it worth living nearby. Glad you didn't risk it with the bees!
I know!!!!! This is one home that should have been looked after!!!! Farmers build newer homes or the kids do and just board these ones up and leave them not thinking they will be admired again......Bummer. Cheers for watching :-)
Loved this video, lots of interesting features with the fireplaces and stained glass windows. Loved to have seen it back in the day, must have been pretty special...Thank you Indigo
Hey PW 7.08 thanks for watching! :-) Love how old it is, i thought it may be that old. The bees were still settling after swarming so I though na better not......:-)
What a find Indigo! I have never seen round fire places either that must have been and awesome home at time. Yes those are hair dryers from way back when. I think this place was from the late 1800 - very early 1900
Hey Jo! :-) Yes most people are dating it late 1800`s too! That makes me happy and glad it is still standing although in pretty bad shape! Cheers for watching :-)
The house was really neat. I especially loved the room with the stained glass and matching paper. Someone made it special. I’m always surprised to see how large the homes are inside. Thank you so much! I love seeing your country! 🌺💕❤️
Interesting old house, left abandoned for a very long time. lovely old features, round fire places. Old salon style hair dryers. Nice old sunbed left in one room, with fitted mattress, covered in dust
Hi PCM thanks for stopping bye. Glad you liked, yep too many unsettled bees that day so played it safe as there was only the one exit and was through a window! lol :-)
another fantastic find. this house would have been beautiful in it's day. yes they were old school hairdryers. maybe who ever lived in their was a hairdresser. i would say this was built in the early 1900's. thanks for sharing.
Yeah I agree they lady of the home may have been a hairdresser. Looks like they moved out in the late 60`s early 70`s while their children were still very young. Thanks for watching :-)
Unusual shaped rooms, and l love the round fire places, really different. As for the bees, can't say I blame you for not wanting to venture too closely. Loved the video. Take care
Very unique home and would have been a sight back in the day! Yes the bees were a little too active for my liking on this one! Cheers for watching Jacky :-)
Another epic video, I believe the house would have been built very early 1900s. A house I was going to get married at had similar features and was around that time!! It would have been incredible in its day. A rich farmers homestead as the rooms were quite grand!! Thank you for taking me on this journey 👍🏻😁😊
Hey Lauren I`m just getting a chance to respond to the comments now and see a few of your so i will start here! :-) I really enjoyed this one Lauren, I could see the roof top from way down on the road and just knew it had a vibe of grandness to it. Long overgrown driveway too! Great adventure all round with the bees! lol Thanks for watching :-)
Looking at the outside of the house, you would never guess it would have the lavish interior details that it does, ie: stained glass windows, rounded fireplace and fancy wood moldings. Looking at some of the furniture in there and the shoes that were left behind it looks as if someone last lived there mid 60's to early 70's. Very interesting place, loved it as always! Thanks for another BEEauty and BEEing silly....BEE careful around those!! Ok, I'm done, I promise! LOL! xo
When I saw this one from a distance I knew there was going to be a couple of nice suprises for some reason. Including the Bees! This time of year they are everywhere. Yeah I agree late 60`s early 70`s was last lived in. Thanks for your support Steph :-)
Hey guys how have you been?? :-) Thanks for stopping bye, glad you like this one. This is one I could see you doing a great video in too. Very secluded and off the beaten track. :-)
Wow! I wasn't expecting the stained glass or the hair dryers! The wallpaper was nice as well! You are right to be fearful of bees! I got stung all over once and thought I was gonna die! Thanks for your great videos ! Yes the fireplace was unique, I think!☺️👍🙋🕊️
Hey L L sorry to hear about you bee nightmare! I`m hearing a few horror stories in the comments about bees and hornets!! I`m happy to be very wary and run if necessary lol! Yeah this old place was a real adventure and fulfilling explore even if in rough shape, awesome craftsmanship of the late 1800/early 1900`s . The wrap around verandah and ornate woodwork wouls have looked spectacular if still in place!!! Never seen completely round fireplaces like these!!!! :-)
What an adventure! My lovebird went crazy over all the bird sounds. It was fun to see the bird flying in and out. I thought the house had an interesting design and probably was very beautiful back in the day. Fascinating…too bad it was not preserved.
I am always amazed at how the architecture varies from different countries...in the past before we all came so linked with each other. In Australia I always see those arches in the entry halls, something to greet visitors as they enter the home...something of grandeur even in the humblest of homes. I have never seen these in any other country’s older homes. Also the cook stoves and kitchen sinks all are so indicative of their continent or country. You do a great job..and it is so true this house is special..who designed it? The owner? where did he come up with Ll the rounded fireplace Nd windows and bowed walls? I have never seen this before. Grat find and explore!
Hey Linda I just came across another 1910 house with the same type woodwork up in the door ways! :-) It seems to be a lingering feature of the late Victorian era here in Australia. I`m not sure about the owner or designer of this old home. I do know it was well worth the walk and battle of birds and bees! haha. thanks for watching :-)
You do not look 39 Rachel! :-) Even though 39 is not old at all. I really enjoyed this explore way up the long drive to see and explore this along with the bees haha. :-)
+Urbex Indigo that's true ...but I'm glad you avoided the bees I didn't want you to get stung but I must amit its great to see a bee hive as they say that bees a dying ...I do really enjoy your videos
those round fireplaces are art nouveau.1890-1910. i would have thought the fashion would take a while to get to oz, but its its a well heeled home so maybe they travelled .anglo-boer war era. have pm you some matching pics
I've never seen a round fireplace, I quite like it. Owners might have had some wealth with many ornate and unique features. Made sense having the kitchen separate to the main house, divided by a breeze way. I love that house design. Tall ceilings, ornate door jambs and kickboards, and I really love rounded windows!
I have never seen round ones either Nessa! Very unique!!!! I think the original owners were well to do and this would have been a very nice home of the day. Shame it is boarded up and left to rot now. Cheers Nessa :-)
I think you may be right about the age of this house late 1800's early 1900's. The stainglass and fretwork above the doorways are a simplified Victorian design. The chimneys have a definite Mary Poppins look! Great fireplaces.
Hey Suzan! Thanks for watching :-) Yes the chimneys are the more narrow style that I have seen on late 1800/early1900 homes. Also that huge fireplace in the kitchen was like they were in late 1800 too. :-) Prob had some upgrades from decade to decade
Hey JakeysMom07 thanks for watching :-) Yep totally agree this one is a shame its been forgotten and now just rotting away. Still lots of character :-)
Once again, wow, what a remarkable house that must have been. Probably from late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Those were indeed hair dryers. I remember they were in beauty salons. I loved the round fire places. It was so very beautiful at one time. Wish I could’ve seen it. Remarkable!!!!!!!
Hey Melissa I have never ever seen round fireplaces in any other home! Very cool and unique!!! Definitely either late 1800`s or early 1900`s, so many old signs of quality craftsmanship! A lost art these days.....Would have love d to have seen some old photos!!! :-) Cheers for watching
Phew glad you got out safely! Thanks for taking the risk to go in and film it was amazing. Hard to put a date I'm not experienced enough lol those round fire places were great though aye. They don't make things to last any more like they did back then.
Hey Jen! :-) I was always going to get a sneek peek even if had to wait til dark when the bees not active! The bees are still getting the hive organized by watching them. This old place still has so much chard even if it is very run down. :-)
Looks victorian. Possibly pre as I've seen old mansions in California and Nevada USA of the old west. Most from mining fortunes. These homes have the interior decorative arches and stained glass features. The gingerbread exterior features of victoria are hard to tell. Maybe the stick looking things on the roof line were once gingerbread or decorative features. Thanks for braving the bees once again.
Hey Nancy thanks for watching :-)This is still one of my favs and I agree it could be older that what I suggested. Your right about the wood sticks that used to be a part of the veranda awnings but they deck and post supports have rotted and come down. The lay out and style does not fit others iv seen from around 1900-1920 so it prob is late 1800`s Victoria with a few interior alterations here and there perhaps. Dry wall looked to be used in ceilings as fix as usually ceilings of that ear are quite ornate. :-) Thanks for watching
i can see how gorgeous this house must have been in its heyday, i live in and are restoring a cottage built in 1863 ,it is so sad to see the way these gorgeous old houses end up and dont get me started on all the gorgeous ones that get demolished for new builds.
I vote we all chip in and get Indigo a beekeeper suit for Christmas!!! I loved this house, it's just exactly what I'd pick to live in before the decay set in. So much character. I was trying to imagine each room 50 years ago. That platform shoe definitely showed last occupancy was late 60's to mid 70's, I think. Time warp! And I wonder why that beautiful style of fireplace isn't seen more. I can imagine how cozy it would look with a fire. Thank you again, for your thoughtful style of filming. I always am satisfied that I got to see everything :D
Haha I have looked at those bee keeping suits and they are not that expensive! :-) I would look like a spaceman walking around these old houses haha. Glad you like this old house Tanya, I was really glad I got see and film it even though the bees and birds own it now! :-) Would love to see an old photo of it. Cheers for watching :-)
The fact you have looked into them just shows the possibility is real.. laughs! Well who cares if you look like a spaceman, we never see you on this end, and you're alone in the middle of nowhere at these old places. Some places make different colors too, like khaki and camo. The bees don't care what colors we wear. Heck I'd probably get one if I was doing explores. Not just bees, but spider bites. I'm more worried about those things than germs, mold and dust.
Glad you were bee-ing careful of those bees. I'd say it is an old home, early 1900's judging by those hair dryers you found. Love the unique shaped fireplaces. Really was a nice home at one time.
Hey Sally thanks for watching. Indeed those fireplaces were unique! Glad I got as much of a look as possible without getting getting trapped and stung in there haha. Hope this old house stands for more decades to come :-)
I lived in a old house once will always remember it. Go thou the front door on the left was my sisters room was massive had fire place on the right was the parlor room also massive with fire place walk down dark wooden hallway my room on right. Another dark wooden hallway on the left, my parents room and bathroom. Then a kitchen and lounge. Loved it Thanks for sharing
Thanks for an awesome explore! I think it's definitely from the 1800s due to the tongue and groove, super high ceilings and vents. Loved the wallpaper in the front bedroom and the old furniture left behind. So glad you were cautious about those bees🐝 and got away safely. Stay safe 😊
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an awesome find!!! First time I have seen a fireplace like that. The stained glass windows!!!! WOW! I totally understand about the bee's. I'm allergic to them.
Hey Sharon thanks for watching, glad you liked! Never seen round fireplaces, took my by surprise!!! Yeah the bees in this one were a bit too active to get cornered in the kitchen! lol :-)
This one was intriguing Linda. There was something completely over grown and long forgotten drive way that said "Yes I have a story to tell" Oh and a crap load of bees!!!!! haha :-)
Such high ceilings! I don't think I've ever seen a circular opening to a fireplace before. Very interesting!! Think those birds were angry you were there, lol. Thanks for the great vid! ❤
Never seen the rounds one ever! Cool though! The Birds were very angry or warning me off against the bees! lol. Lately I have come across a lot of bees and managed to get the explores done but this was tricky as they were inside the structure. usually the hive is out or in the wall somewhere. Thanks for watching Chawnie :-)
Hi Grace! :-) I wish I could see some old photos of this one from way back in the day when it was the pride and joy of the former owners!!!!!! Late 1800`s i`m thinking now? Shame it has been left to rot.....Cheers for watching :-)
That place had to be gorgeous in it's day! The round fireplaces and stained glass were awesome. I don't know how anyone could have left that place! The bee's were terrifying!!!!!
If the bees were more settled i`d have gone further but it seems they still getting the queen set up after swarming. This old home was worth the treck up the long overgrown driveway/angry birds and bees! haha. Glad it is still standing, much decay but much beauty also :-)
This place is really cool. From the architecture of the interior , the stain glass windows and unique fire places I would think the builder of the house had quite a sum of money. Makes you wonder what they did for work. Very nice home indeed. Thanks for sharing this with us. Great find.
Would have been an upper class homestead in its day for sure, details and proper electrical work was added when it became available so definitely were not short of a dollar. Glad it is still standing as it is very run down. Cheers for watching :-)
The remains of that old radiogram in that first room. Pretty creepy place given the bird and bees. Still, quite interesting explore. Love seeing these vids.
Hey Rod :-) I really enjoyed finding this one, it was a bit creepy and very old and run down but also very much a beauty and to imagine it in its hey day is cool! Glad you are enjoying these ones, cheers for watching :-)
Another excellent video... Well done! You did the right thing staying clear of those bees. I'm allergic to them myself, and want nothing to do with them. Keep the videos coming, UI, as I enjoy each and everyone of them...
Hey Chuck thanks for your support, glad you enjoyed. Yeah being allergic to them would suck, I got too close to a hive once and yes the scouts came straight at me and one stung me on the temple lol. So I know they can react accordingly but if you walk around them and not at the hive they seem to be fine. The ones in this one were still settling into a new hive after swarming. Have had a few lately where i`v navigated the bees successfully yay! haha
Good find Indigo, I wonder what these house look like when they where newly built, wish I could go back in time and see how life was...Good video.Thank you
A Treasure indeed! I mean when have you ever seen a Pink Pedestal Sink? Definitely late 1800' s vernacular. The Round Fireplaces rather art nouveau, the transoms with fretwork so charming, this one reminiscent of a little old lady, must've been something in time.Glad you stayed safe, but what a Wonderful explore!!! I will be dreaming about this one!
Hey Robin! :-) Yes this is the first one i`v ever seen with round fireplaces! Other people have also commented Art Noueau which is awesome too! This one I am tempted to door knock the farms to see who owns it and get some history :-)
This place was beautiful back in the day. I think I have seen those round fireplaces in some of your other videos. Loved how there was a fireplace in every room. I love how the animals have taken this place over. That bird definitely didn't want you there.😅 I'm glad you didn't risk the bees, but would have loved to see that kitchen. Loved this house and the land it was on.
This one would have been a real gem in its day Patricia no doubt about it. Back in the late 1800`s also. The birds and bees are the care takers now hehe :-0
hey dude , what a cool old house , loved the stained glass , i have never seen round fire places , very different, cool explore , watch out for mutant bees , l.o.l.take care
Ohhh just loved this house, I have never seen a round fire place either they certainly were different! Loved the bedroom alcove with the stain glass. The old style bassinet brought back memories for sure I remember bringing my first born home from hospital, that type of bassinet is what we used back then with a safety type rope net on the top... I wanted to go nose in the kitchen area... lol Might be showing my age but I remember that type of rocking horse too! The hair dryers certainly came from 50’s/60’s? thanks Indy for the look around was great and looking forward to the next one... Take care and stay safe
Haha Hey Greg I was very close to running across into the kitchen and if the bees were more settled i`d prob have gone for it. Think they had just swarmed and prepping the hive. I still found it very interesting as I`d not seen those fireplaces before. very old door hardware that suggests late 1800`s but other things suggest later but I guess places adapt new as they go such as the electricity :-)
Hey Lisa thanks for watching. Yes it is sad as this home is completely forgotten.....a farmer is not even using it for storage....just boarded up left to rot. Would love to see a photo of it in its prime :-)
Hey Gary! Others have stated the art nouveau style also which is cool as i`v not really had any with that early interiors. Learning always! Thanks for your help Gary ! :-)
Wow watched on Big Screen. What a pretty room that must have been with the rose wall paper and rose stained glass. Sweetie you need some gloves your poor hands are torn up. Loved this one.
Haha it was an adventure out there dealing with nature! I think the birds were thinking who is this in our home!!!! lol. Glad this old home is still standing although in quite bad shape. Cheers for watching :-)
Such a beautiful home, I think aaround 1910 but no expert. The hair dryers, all 4, in the main bedroom make me think she was a hairdresser? I loved so many things about this home: the leadlight, frett work (NOT GRILL work - grill work found outside), big rooms with tall ceillings - were they around 14' P? The door surrounds and rich coloured wood. Loved the main bedroom mostly, it was huge but you know my absolute favourite thing is the fireplaces, I have never seen round fireplaces, I can imagine them alight with stylish rooms all set up, magical. Thank you, I really enjoyed this one, you probably have forgotten it after 4 years of exploring😊
What a gem of a find. She was once a beautiful home, now looking like the staging for some kind of horror movie. So sad to see the Wonder horse looking like that. I have a photo of myself on my wonder horse at around 1962. Another great video thank you for sharing your adventures, please consider wearing a mask💙
Haha glad you were able to connect with the wonder horse Tessa! :-) So cool! :-) Yes much decay has lead to the horror movie look. Must have been quite the pride and joy back in the day though. Cheers for watching Tessa :-)
EARTH ANGEL😇. VERY awesome fireplaces!!! Never saw anything like these before!!! LARGE house and so very trashed!!! 😞 SAD. Wonder so much about the history??? Beautiful property. Must have been abandoned for a long time! Two shoes were like night and day! 😂 No.valuables left behind here! I 🤔 that you are correct in dating this place! Interesting video! 👍😳😎👍
Yes! There is a ceiling medallion hanging in one piece from well the ceiling! So it MUST be cast metal rather than plaster!!! Refer to my most recent comments from one of your other videos, the one with the beautiful arch in the hallway, and the Ornate cast Iron gingerbread on the front porch! I feel like I am Discovering lost secrets of Victorian Era Decor!!! Thank you!
And also the verandah had it all along it too but it has fallen off and is lying on the ground now. This is one i`d love to see old pics of it in its glory Robyn! :-) The round fire places iv never seen either! :-)
This is a beautiful find, late Victorian/early Edwardian by the look of the architecture. Bees generally won’t hurt you unless you mess with their hive directly, they don’t tend to be aggressive like wasps can. That rocking horse was pretty cool, and yes...that was the hood of a hairdryer. I love the Victorian gingerbread in the doorways, and the stained glass. The round fireplaces are beautiful, and I haven’t seen the style relating to any period...that brick one looked amazing. That bird has babies in a nest there somewhere. I really enjoy your panning and framing skills. Thanks for sharing this find with us.🖤🇨🇦
Hey Tamarra thanks for watching! Ginger bread!!! That is what people have been asking the name of regarding that woodwork. I just got back from a 1910 built home ready for demolition and it had these gingerbreads in the door ways and stained glass work too! Seems to be late Victorian??? :-)
@@tamarrajames3590 I literally just got back this arvo from another one I was trying to say! Haha I also left comments with your other comments on the other one! :-)
Love it! all the original stuff! I expect every moment George Baxter to come around the corner, what are you doing on my property? LOL. have a good one mate!
Complimenti bel video ciao!!!!👍👍👍
You are one of the gutsiest explorers I've ever seen!!! I was so nervous when you neared those buzzing bees! The wildlife alone would have kept me from entering that house let alone the rooting floor boards! Very unique old home though. I love the stained glass window and the rounded out fire places. I've never seen another house built quite like this one. The salon hair dryers reminded me of maybe 1950's-60's? The riding horse around that same period. The house itself I wouldn't dare guess. Amazing video!
Hey Judy :-) I was ready to take on nature cautiously to get a peek at this old unique home! One I saw it up close I though hmmm those bees are not gonna stop me haha. But the Kitchen was just pushing it a bit with only one way out and a very long run back to the car! haha. Glad this old beauty is still standing although very run down. Cheers for watching :-)
Must of been quite beautiful in its day. The shoes and furniture look mid-century but the house itself looks like it is late 1800’s early 1900. The fireplaces were amazing. The decoration on the doors and window were very unique. Thank you for going in harms way. You are very brave🌺🌺🌺
Hey Dogsrule53 thanks for watching again :-) I wanted to say late 1800`s with confidence but was uncertain, thanks for you comments, cool things that are not in other old homes i`v explored. :-)
@@urbexindigo5164 hi Paul..thanks. I never got ta finish watching your latest .I was so tired. And am exhausted. But I'll get to finish watching tomorrow am really looking forward to it! Stay safe my friend..😄😪
Bees vs Rotten floors hmmmm YEP NO THANKS 😁wow what an AWESOME find so interesting the old furniture even the fire places AWESOME VIDEO 👉🏻all way from NEW ZEALAND
So that’s where all the odd socks disappear too! 😂xx There seems to a few items from around the 70’s I’m guessing and yes those were old salon hairdryers. Omg! The birds again! Made me jump as I was writing this. Lol xx
A forgotten beautiful unloved gem frozen in time beautiful stained glass hair dryers they used to have in hair salons I was intrigued by the round fireplace
Those are the oddest fireplaces I have ever seen. I have never encountered a round fireplace in all the years I spent exploring or any video I've watched. I think the house is late 1800's from the stained glass and decorative woodwork. Stay safe and God bless.
Thanks for watching Marybeth! I`m glad you added that information as I would love to hear from you other explorers as well regarding these fireplaces as I`v certainly not seen any others here in Australia but i`m only just under a year in with these adventures so I will keep looking! haha :-)
Old fashioned hairdresser's stand up hair dryer. Old beds ETC . old fashioned floral wall paper. loads of classic features, natural decay, dodgy floorboards
Beautiful find. Amazing details. Glad you stayed away from the bees. There is a Australian govt pdf about brick usage and history in southern Australia that may have some info. Print was too small on my phone to read easily and I wasn’t sure if this house is even in that area. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Susan I have a couple of pdf`s regarding that stuff, I try to refer to it when I can. :-) This old one is such a shame it has been boarded up and left to die. Would have been the pride and joy back in the day. :-)
Ty 4 investigating this house! It had 2 b glorious in it's day. Too bad there was so much junk & the bees that ur investigation prevented it from being as thorough as usual. But still, I sure enjoyed imagining what the house had been. Many thanks from Michigan, USA.😊
Would have been a beautiful home once so many classy touches like the round fire places, lead light windows, and timber work throughout .I think this is early 1900s sad to see it abandoned would be cool to know some history and yes this is the first time I have seen round fireplaces anywhere very cool, nice find buddy cheers mate.👍🍻
Shame it is getting so run down Roysta, so much charm still though so i`m glad and hopeful it will stand for a while yet. Would love to see some old pics of it in the day! Cheers for watching :-)
Hey Beverly I really appreciate your support, i love making the videos and glad you guys enjoy them! Cheers! :-)
That's a great Art Nouveau villa. The key hole design fireplace was amazing!!! Love it.
Urbex Indigo Yay! Look foreword to them!
Hey Joni thanks for watching :-) I would love to see an old photo of it in its prime! Yeah too many bees still settling the hive for my liking lol
Old place.....love the stain glass windows and wood trim. House probably built early 1900's.
Hey Anita thanks for watching :-) Yep, others agree witht the early 1900/late 1800 date too :-)
Bees sure love these old abandoned houses Lol, another great video, thanks for sharing.
I hate seeing such a beautiful place in such a bad condition. Thanks for documenting it, particularly with all of those bees.
I know!!!!! This is one home that should have been looked after!!!! Farmers build newer homes or the kids do and just board these ones up and leave them not thinking they will be admired again......Bummer. Cheers for watching :-)
Thank you for the video. Love those fireplaces. House is probably 1880 to 1900. Have a great day.
Hey Michele thanks heaps for watching. Glad you enjoyed. Unique fireplaces indeed. Others agree with your dates and I do too now. :-)
Bee careful and beeware of the 🐝. Thanks for your videos, love them. 👍✌️
I had to respect the bee hive here for sure Bev lol Thanks for watching :-)
Loved this video, lots of interesting features with the fireplaces and stained glass windows. Loved to have seen it back in the day, must have been pretty special...Thank you Indigo
My pleasure Tangi :-) Glad you enjoyed, cheers for watching :-)
Awesome place, my guess is mid to late 1800’s what a beauty this was in its day .
Thank you for sharing it and great wisdom avoiding the bees 🐝
Hey PW 7.08 thanks for watching! :-) Love how old it is, i thought it may be that old. The bees were still settling after swarming so I though na better not......:-)
What a fantastic find. Finding a home built using the materials they did. Super discovery!
Hey Alice thanks for watching! :-) Glad you liked this one too! Glad it is still standing :-)
That window is stunning along with the arch
his is another amazing old late 1800`s home which I wish were saved but its been let go a long time ago. hanks for watching :-)
The house was really neat. I especially loved the room with the stained glass and matching paper. Someone made it special. I’m always surprised to see how large the homes are inside. Thank you so much! I love seeing your country! 🌺💕❤️
The details on this house were stunning. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you liked Laura, thanks for watching :-)
Interesting old house, left abandoned for a very long time. lovely old features, round fire places. Old salon style hair dryers. Nice old sunbed left in one room, with fitted mattress, covered in dust
Amazing old place William. This is one of my favorites :-) Shame is is rotting away with those things inside.
A lovely video I think you did right in playing safety first.I think maybe late 18 hundreds stay safe in all you do
Hi PCM thanks for stopping bye.
Thanks for your support Steph :-)
what a beautiful location! thumbs up. also a nice edit again!
I love the decay...
Great find. Loved the arches & leaded glass transom window. A really nice but forgotten touch to a house...
Hi Jocko John , yes this old place is one of my favs still, such a great old reminder of the past. cheers for watching glad you enjoyed :-)
I do know it was well worth the walk and battle of birds and bees! haha. thanks for watching :-)
this was done on my birthday - just turned 39 :) Love looking at these beautiful gems! stay safe on your travels :)
You do not look 39 Rachel! :-) Even though 39 is not old at all. I really enjoyed this explore way up the long drive to see and explore this along with the bees haha. :-)
I love the staindglass window, half round, above the door. It's lucky that it wasn't broken like the other windows. All the wonderful wood work.
Still lots of charm showing in this old run down place Sherrie, glad it is still standing. Cheers for watching :-0
what a great find it was probably a nice looking house when it was new ...great video
Would have been awesome to see it in its prime Eva :-) Shame I could not get a peek in the kitchen too!
Wow! Must have been a beautiful home at one time. So sad that it's been let go past the point it could be saved.
I agree probably late 1800's.
:-) Thanks for watching
i can see how gorgeous this house must have been in its heyday, i live in and are restoring a cottage built in 1863 ,it is so sad to see the way these gorgeous old houses end up and dont get me started on all the gorgeous ones that get demolished for new builds.
this house was lovely once, those stained windows.....please be careful, loads of bees you did right safety first. Tyvm for this
Hey Wendy thanks for stopping bye! Would have been a marvelous house in its prime! Yep too many bees on the move that day! Cheers for watching :-)
Nature certainly took over this old beauty. Early 1900's is my guess. Thank you for not risking Bee stings.
Yep the birds and bees own this one now!!! haha. Angry birds! I agree with the date :-) Thanks for watching Leeanne :-)
Loved it
Thanks for sharing
I would have love to have grown up and now even own somethng like this Sonia :-) Glad it brought back menories, thanks for watching :-)
Yeah the bees in this one were a bit too active to get cornered in the kitchen! lol :-)
YUP LATE 1800'S EARLY 1900 LOVED THE STAINED GLASS AND ROUND FIRE PLACE ALSO 1800'S TYTY ANOTHER SCORE
Glad you enjoyed Nita! Yep others agree with the date too! Cheers for watching :-)
I just love the architecture in this house...bzzzzzzzz..
This one was intriguing Linda. There was something completely over grown and long forgotten drive way that said "Yes I have a story to tell" Oh and a crap load of bees!!!!! haha :-)
I saw the 🐝 hive. I love the cutouts on the doors and stuff. You can tell it's really old.
Cheers for watching Vonda! :-)
I love the design of this 🏠
This old home was worth the treck up the long overgrown driveway/angry birds and bees! haha. Glad it is still standing, much decay but much beauty also :-)
It looks big inside then the outside cool video
This place is really cool. From the architecture of the interior , the stain glass windows and unique fire places I would think the builder of the house had quite a sum of money. Makes you wonder what they did for work. Very nice home indeed. Thanks for sharing this with us. Great find.
Would have been an upper class homestead in its day for sure, details and proper electrical work was added when it became available so definitely were not short of a dollar. Glad it is still standing as it is very run down. Cheers for watching :-)
Never seen a round fireplace either. Late 1800's built. The fretwork was amazing.
Wow, beautiful place still.
Still hold a lot of charm Evelyn even in its current state!
Have had a few lately where i`v navigated the bees successfully yay! haha
Hi ! Can't wait to see another great find of yours. Hope you've been doing alright. Ahhh you're 'BEE'-ing funny. 'BEE ' careful.😁
Cheers for stopping bye Ruth! Must be nearly bed time over there hey? yeah I been good, you? :-)
What a great find!! Loved it!!
Hey Diane thanks for watching, so glad you enjoyed :-)
Have you ever tried to find the previous owners children that could tell you more on what happened there?
Good find Indigo, I wonder what these house look like when they where newly built, wish I could go back in time and see how life was...Good video.Thank you
Fatiha I would really love to see and old photo of this one when it was it its prime! Pride and joy of a few generations i`d say! :-)
That farm house would have been gorgeous in its day ♡@@urbexindigo5164
Very Unique old home or atleast compared to the ones iv seen in the country. Cheers for watching mate! :-)
Ohhh just loved this house, I have never seen a round fire place either they certainly were different!
Loved the bedroom alcove with the stain glass.
The old style bassinet brought back memories for sure I remember bringing my first born home from hospital, that type of bassinet
is what we used back then with a safety type rope net on the top...
I wanted to go nose in the kitchen area... lol
Might be showing my age but I remember that type of rocking horse too!
The stained glass beautiful
I'm thinking it was the late 1800's, makes me sad to see beautiful homes like this being left to rot away
Hey Lisa thanks for watching. Yes it is sad as this home is completely forgotten.....a farmer is not even using it for storage....just boarded up left to rot. Would love to see a photo of it in its prime :-)
Absolutely lovely art nuveau stained glass probably worth a small fortune in salvage. Sweet old home almost done for now! I
Hey Nancy yes I should wear gloves and my cat loves to play rough with that hand too hahaha! Glad you liked this old gem, cheers for watching :-)
Another great find!!! Very unique fireplaces n the wood trim but just a little too much inside nature for my taste! LOL thanx
Haha it was an adventure out there dealing with nature! I think the birds were thinking who is this in our home!!!! lol. Glad this old home is still standing although in quite bad shape. Cheers for watching :-)
From those shoes I'd say the 60s was the last time someone actually lived in it.
Wow the beginning when there was no sound , it brought back a memory of being young and exploring I loved that sound 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰
Glad you had a connection Cynthia, the sounds of nature are a very important part of these explores I think. Thanks for watching :-)
Much decay but still so much charm! Those fireplace I have not found ever before! So cool! Cheers for watching Earth Angel :-)
Urbex Indigo I watched that one also, and believe I put some dates in the commentary for you. Can’t help myself....🖤🇨🇦
@@tamarrajames3590 I literally just got back this arvo from another one I was trying to say! Haha I also left comments with your other comments on the other one! :-)
Urbex Indigo great minds...and fools they say.🖤🇨🇦
Love it! all the original stuff! I expect every moment George Baxter to come around the corner, what are you doing on my property? LOL. have a good one mate!
Haha glad it was only the bees around the corner and not an angry owner! Cheers for watching mate! :-)
@@urbexindigo5164 always a pleasure mate! :-)
great building, lots of promise as a project,1870 -1900 would be my guess.
Hi Gary :-) This one I would really love to see someone bring back from the brink!!!!! :-) I agree with you date too now. Cheers for watching :-)
Complimenti bel video ciao!!!!👍👍👍
Hi Lucilla, thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed this one :-)
Early 1900 I think.. surprised it's still standing..but they don't make stuff now a days like they did back in those yrs..Thanks for sharing...
Alright! Gonna..finish study and get a nice cuppa..relax and enjoy your video later.👍
Hey Sandy thanks for stopping bye! :-)
@@urbexindigo5164 hi Paul..thanks. I never got ta finish watching your latest .I was so tired. And am exhausted. But I'll get to finish watching tomorrow am really looking forward to it! Stay safe my friend..😄😪
bet that home was beautiful in its day i would say it was from 1800 love the video
Hey Valerie thanks for watching! :-0 I would love to see some old photos of it from back in it`s glory days! :-)
@@urbexindigo5164 so would i
Oh wow !!! Now I’ve seen it all !! Absolutely outstanding. Thank you thank you 🙏 yesss 🙌❤️
Bees vs Rotten floors hmmmm YEP NO THANKS 😁wow what an AWESOME find so interesting the old furniture even the fire places AWESOME VIDEO 👉🏻all way from NEW ZEALAND
Hey Christine thanks heaps for watching :-) I certainly have never seen round fireplaces before! Cheers from across the ditch! :-)
So that’s where all the odd socks disappear too! 😂xx There seems to a few items from around the 70’s I’m guessing and yes those were old salon hairdryers. Omg! The birds again! Made me jump as I was writing this. Lol xx
Hey Julia! Yep more birds hahaha! They were letting me know they own it I think, and the bees were there too! Love nature. Cheers for watching :-)
I`m glad you added that information as I would love to hear from you other explorers as well regarding these fireplaces as I`v certainly not seen any others here in Australia but i`m only just under a year in with these adventures so I will keep looking! haha :-)
From wallpaper remains, I'm thinking house era 1880s.
I love Victorian wall paper.
Yes please cat cameo and Merry pre Christmas to you. 😻😻😻😻😻
Ok Nancy I will feature him in a video before Christmas :-) Cheers ! :-)
Beautiful I would place it late 1800 early 1900s love it
Ty 4 investigating this house! It had 2 b glorious in it's day. Too bad there was so much junk & the bees that ur investigation prevented it from being as thorough as usual. But still, I sure enjoyed imagining what the house had been. Many thanks from Michigan, USA.😊
Glad you enjoyed Mary Lou :-) Thanks for watching :-)
Would have been a beautiful home once so many classy touches like the round fire places, lead light windows, and timber work throughout .I think this is early 1900s sad to see it abandoned would be cool to know some history and yes this is the first time I have seen round fireplaces anywhere very cool, nice find buddy cheers mate.👍🍻
Shame it is getting so run down Roysta, so much charm still though so i`m glad and hopeful it will stand for a while yet. Would love to see some old pics of it in the day! Cheers for watching :-)
