    I love this video! I watched it so many times, that I decided to book four days stay 😊 So excited about it!
    I have one question: Since I read that water quality there is not good, where did you buy water bottles? Can you purchase it at the property? Or is it necessary to go to town for that? Thanks a lot.

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Im so happy you enjoyed it. That was a year ago but I’m pretty sure they have water coolers there or some kind of filtered water. I didn’t buy water and town is too far away. They have everything you need there.

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      And bring a water bottle as most budget accommodation in Colombia has a water cooler.

    Hi @ShaunaTweet did you prefer Minca or Mindo in Ecuador? Are they very similar?

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So while they are similar in names, they are a bit different. Mindo is a unique biosphere and has 550 species of birds. It's also much warmer than Minca which has 190 species. It's also much easier to get to Mindo, no need for a 4x4. This video of Mindo may help as my guide is a birdwatcher. th-cam.com/video/pxmJ7hbnWg0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5wkVM4KEsaJSQUmw

    Can you get up there in a regular sedan and do you recommend any activities while up there? Would a day trip from Santa Marta be worthwhile?

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No you can’t get up there in a regular sedan. I was picked up in a car but then there’s a town where everyone switches to 4x4 and the driving is pretty crazy. There’s lots of hiking available I just chose to do something more relaxing as it was pretty muddy. You could do a day trip but I’d stay overnight at if you have time.

    visit Medellin, in November 2022 the city was elevated to the category of SMART TOURIST DESTINATION (unique in Colombia and second in Latin America together with Tequila-Mexico) in addition Medellin already surpassed Cartagena in international tourists (confirmed by Colombian migration), the WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS awarded Medellin as the LEADER EMERGING DESTINATION OF SOUTH AMERICA 2022 and TIMEOUT named Medellin as the best destination in the world in 2022, and the best thing is that a few days ago THE NEW YORK TIMES included the EL POBLADO neighborhood of Medellin among the best 52 destinations in the world in 2023.

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Accommodation in Santa Marta can arrange a 4x4 taxi or the Minca accommodation can also do it.

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love pho, Vietnam is probably the king of soups in Asia. I guess a good beef one would have a rich beefy flavour with a bit of sweetness and brightness from cilantro and lime. It's fresh and rich at the same time.

      @@ayngelina ohhh 😯 because I have tried once and 🤢 was not expecting that flavor 🥴😵‍💫😅 I hate it! Literally was not edible , that pho has like 10 pounds of sugar and at the same time 15 pounds of salt extremely salty and sweet 🤢 and the flavor was cinnamon tea with star anise and cloves 😪 worst experience lol 😂 and expensive 20 dollars 💸 to the trash 🚮 lol maybe 🤔 I went to the wrong place …
