Zheng Jiang has been my favorite campaign so far. Her Demand Tribute diplomacy option is so absolutely absurd, that by around turn 100 I was making over 20k income per turn with 7 full armies fielded. Vanguards also get an assignment that boosts replenishment by another 15%. This is most useful when raising armies or to quickly take a commandery once you have the city.

Dong Min is actually Dong Zhuo's cousin, not his son. I suspect that the reason Lu Bu became faction leader after Dong Zhuo died in some of your past playthroughs is likely because Dong Min probably died (either he got killed in battle, or Dong Zhuo might actually have executed him to remove a potential "rival") himself somehow prior to Dong Zhuo's death, so Dong Zhuo probably reacted by making Lu Bu into the faction heir after Dong Min died.
You dropped lu zheng so easy! I married lu bu in and made him heir as well, then adopted lu zheng into the family and that kept her happy enough to stick around
caocao likes to use xiahouyuan as a spy early on, he appeared in my sun jian campaign as well, and after i recruited him i started to notices all kinds of fuckery.

Zheng Jiang gets super cheesy in late game. Her special building is one that gives +2% faction wide replenishment on level 1, and it can be upgraded, and the buildings stack, so in late game when you have like 20 cities, you can have 100% replenishment which makes any casualties irrelevant. Also you can demand tribute from any faction you almost beat in exchange for giving peace(you can add giving food into the equation to make them accept), and even demanding tribute from a tiny faction with only one tiny farming village will give you at least 1k income. Its way more powerful than trade agreements and you dont have to share borders with said faction. I demanded payment from a faction with like 10 regions and they paid me 20k minimum, and you can increase the tribute income by constructing yet another special building which again, STACKS. So yeah, im not so sure about Zheng Jiang being a hard campaign... In my late game im earning 100k a turn and i have about 1m in my coffers and i literally cant spend enough money on things to get rid of it all. Every building upgrade every turn in every region, number of armies capped out with the most expensive units possible, i buy every sack of rice or tiny item any faction has by just dumping money on them. Man its good to be the bandit queen. Not to mention, if you have enough food you can more or less bribe factions with food to pay you tribute, and then buy all the food back from other factions. In my playthrough, i found out that losing your last city doesnt end the game, so i just migrated Zheng Jiang down south where i took some tiny Han village to replenish, and beat Sun clan and took the whole south. On the map in my campaign theres 2 armor craftsmen, 2 weapon smiths and 1 horse tamer, so if you control all those five settlements and upgrade them all to legendary then after like 150 turns you should have about 2 unique weapons and 2 unique armors(spawned). The horse tamer is up north pretty close to Zheng Jiangs starting position so you can get that early. One armor/weapon craftsman is south of Chang´an, so you can get that right after taking the emperor. One item craftsman is southwest on the western edge of the map, one is south of liu biao and one is right where the Sun clan starts. Controlling all five of these isnt simply a matter of "i want all the good items", it also means the npc factions wont be getting those same item spawns, which they will. I discovered one armor crafter on the map way late into my playthrough and the faction that owned it had like 6 armor pieces they could trade. So the Ai benefits from holding those settlements. The most important Imo is the weapon crafters, since it makes any general who has them weapons that much stronger. Any unique weapon is liable to make any random general on par with a legendary character. So dont let the Ai get them good weapons. I hoarded those weapon smiths as the first thing i did and now after winning the game every character i fight has the lowest quality weapons. Difficult campaign indeed...
I like the Final Rush ability because it is very useful to kill units/generals after a battle is decided. Sometimes just winning the battle isn't enough if the army isn't really damaged. I like using that ability to completely annihilate elite or legendary troops so I never have to face them again. Winning the battle doesn't automatically kill all their troops, and killing their troops even after the battle is decided still counts. @19:30 for instance, you were surprised Geo Gan wasn't killed, but if you waited a bit longer before ending the battle, you may have killed him with your towers. I don't know if you wanted him dead, but he still could've died.
Similar to my campaign where i took Lu Bu as Zheng Jiang's Husband however, Guo Si attacked whereby he died trying then, his army retreated and Dong Zhuo replaced Guo Si. I attack Dong Zhuo's army then captured him. I executed him and got his unique sword XD
You could have arranged the marriage when you are about to attack trade port on the north so that you can feed your Xiahou yuan or Luzheng to the Han army. Then you can get a free lu bu in your army by replacing your dead general.
At some point in the battle you will get a hint from your generals that the battle is either as good as won or lost. Now how exactly that works I'm not sure. But I'm certain that is when the ability kicks in. And yeah... it sucks big time. If you're winning you don't need it and when you're losing you're not really on the offensive most of the time.
@@TheGrouch91 The generals call the battle based on the balance of power which is calculated based on the number of remaining troops, their quality, their fatigue, ammunition etc... In total war games though, battle outcome: decided usually means once you either win or lose the battle, I think the reasoning for the ability was so your generals can hunt down and kill escaping enemies
Final rush is actually insane. I've been watching someone else's TWTK series and after the outcome is decided, he takes his generals (and cavalry but they can't get Final rush) and mows down enemy troops to almost zero every battle. With Final rush, you can kill tons more troops so the enemy has to go back to their territory and replenish longer.
You can confederate the other Bandit faction on turn 1 by simply offering the guy tons of money over time deals. If you just keep stacking them, he will eventually give in and accept confederation if you combine it with an ultimatum after he reaches trusted friend. Free Settlement and legendary lord. Also, Lu Bu taking over is an event on itself. He starts a civil war against Dong Min. Loving your 3k videos, keep it up!
As far as I understand, the "duration 10 turns" on the treachery warning, refers to how many turns the deal is supposed to last (and doesn't mean treachery will dissapear in ten turns). So far, I've experienced treachery decay at maybe 1 per turn. Correct me if I am wrong, though.
YOOO not sure if you read comments, but your units at the start are OP in seiges, you have the hidden axe's that are stealth units, so if you deploy everyone into a forest, the enemy wont defend towers and spawns on the main capture point in the middle, so you can use your stealth guys to take towers for free due to towers not being able to spot for themselves, essentially negating towers on the enemy town so yeah its super op, im new to the game but once i learned that i was able to take that town with under 40 casualtys. also pyrric is pronounced ph-hear-ic
incase you were wondering why the archers don't fire on you in legendary it's actually because it's on legendary. As you probably know, with Warhammer 2 it was a very common cheese strat to use a hero or lord to bait and waste the ammo of all the charterers due to the wonderful AI and running in circles. so in Three kingdoms they still do that behavior on normal and below but I do believe the harder the difficulty the more selective archers are with their targets
The Hidden Axes main use is to capture towers, as since they start out hidden, so long as there aren't any units near the tower, they can just enter the capture zone, and the tower won't fire on them.
The 50% speed increase thing is great for mopping up enemies that routed quickly. That's what makes it useful, you can get rid of the army instead of continuing to deal with it later.
27:30 I just started playing TW 3K and it's the first TW game I'm struggling with. Everything dies so damn quickly. Even shamefully turned the difficulty down and Lu Bu the army killer the man that is worth 1000...Dies like a fly to freaking peasants...He once instantly died with 65% HP from a freaking routing group. Same goes for every other hero they all die in mere seconds while fighting. Dueling is a joke as 9/10 times the duel is over in 2 seconds...and most time it's my hero that dies. Lu Bu at level 7 almost got beaten by a level 1 vanguard nobody....who took away 35k HP he died 2 seconds later to some peasant archers. Honestly what the fuck is wrong with my game ? I hope somebody knows the awnser I love TW games and the 3 Kingdom period is like a dream come true for me. But honestly this is extremely frustrating. Found the problem extreme unit sizes for some reason it gives units ridiculously high damage...such as 3.4K AP damage.
momo 12320 THE Xun Yu, Cao Cao's guy, if u don't play as zheng jiang he mosy likely always dies turn one because he becomes fodder for AI, such a shame. Tip: If you have the game, you can always know if a character was someone important in the romance by looking at title under his name, will always be something non generic (Hegemons Aide in this case) Also by looking at the total number of extra stats he gets in the background, +15 is generic +30 +60 +80 means they are of varying degrees of importance irl

I've never heard of this game and I don't know why I watched this in its entirety. Good job man
Best Three kingdoms content I have ever seen
great series, your commentary is funny af lol also anybody else hears "wink wink" whenever he says "wang kuang"?
Hey man you really have to Show us how Lü Bu sons turned out. Wanna see those super sixpacks
if Dororo taught me anything is that if you have an useless kid, *commander*, you can make a deal with the demons for prosperity.
Honestly, I just want to see how those two babies turned out, the commander could be the next coming of jesus and the vanguard might be a demon
I NEED MOARR!!
i love your total war videos, please continuye the good work :D
Similar to my campaign where i took Lu Bu as Zheng Jiang's Husband however, Guo Si attacked whereby he died trying then, his army retreated and Dong Zhuo replaced Guo Si. I attack Dong Zhuo's army then captured him. I executed him and got his unique sword XD
Best love story ever. Deserves all the awards
You could have arranged the marriage when you are about to attack trade port on the north so that you can feed your Xiahou yuan or Luzheng to the Han army. Then you can get a free lu bu in your army by replacing your dead general.
This is the hypest shit on youtube ATM not gonna lie.
"better love story than twilight"
10/10
I need more of this. This is great and entertaining to watch
I think that "battle outcome: decided" means that the game predicts a victory.
So basically when the advisor says something like "A glorious victory will soon be yours!"?
No, it’s when a victory or a defeat is achieved, although you wouldn’t be able to use this ability when you are defeated
@@LucarioDoT no it would be on the auto resolve where you have the bar i think.
LÜ Bu and Zheng Jiang are the perfect couple, like Mickey and Mallory
Final rush is actually insane. I've been watching someone else's TWTK series and after the outcome is decided, he takes his generals (and cavalry but they can't get Final rush) and mows down enemy troops to almost zero every battle. With Final rush, you can kill tons more troops so the enemy has to go back to their territory and replenish longer.
Wanna see how the children of lü bu and zheng jiang turn out :D so please upload the 2nd part asap
"Drop a like in the comments"
Okay then here is a like I guess
👍
As far as I understand, the "duration 10 turns" on the treachery warning, refers to how many turns the deal is supposed to last (and doesn't mean treachery will dissapear in ten turns). So far, I've experienced treachery decay at maybe 1 per turn. Correct me if I am wrong, though.
YOOO not sure if you read comments, but your units at the start are OP in seiges, you have the hidden axe's that are stealth units, so if you deploy everyone into a forest, the enemy wont defend towers and spawns on the main capture point in the middle, so you can use your stealth guys to take towers for free due to towers not being able to spot for themselves, essentially negating towers on the enemy town so yeah its super op, im new to the game but once i learned that i was able to take that town with under 40 casualtys. also pyrric is pronounced ph-hear-ic
also the green general you banished, can go assinement for +4 food that you can then sell for decent gold as you dont need it early
no it isnt. it comes from pyrrhus of epirus. why is everyone retarded about this. "pirrik".
This is really good. Part two would be great!
incase you were wondering why the archers don't fire on you in legendary it's actually because it's on legendary.
I’m addicted to these please upload faster
The Hidden Axes main use is to capture towers, as since they start out hidden, so long as there aren't any units near the tower, they can just enter the capture zone, and the tower won't fire on them.
You play as Yuan Shu? Get Lu Bu
You play as Bandit Queen? Get Lu Bu
Your GF dump you? Get Lu Bu
Lu Bu is answer to everything
One of the small joys from this series, and I mean this, is hearing you pronounce these names a different way every single time you say them.
This is soo interessting to watch yo! Iam at 19:55 and the lu boo child joke man
trm the type of guy to banish a commander baby borne from 2 warlords
Did you read Xun Yu traits??? He is a very good strategist.
momo 12320 THE Xun Yu, Cao Cao's guy, if u don't play as zheng jiang he mosy likely always dies turn one because he becomes fodder for AI, such a shame.
@@trollgemomo3823 Its the Xun Yu that served cao cao since the beginning
Your approach is great. I've picked up a lot of tips.
please show us lu bu´s and zheng jiang´s babies growing up and becoming beast warriors like their parents!
Lol TRM threatens us by saying "like or you get a league video"
I liked :)
