Empty vessel is just an empty vessel ~ Unless of course you are reaching for a priceless Althorp treasure. In faithful service, the filling splendor of bloom delights once again.💐PERFECTION.
You’re bringing such warmth to Althorp. Researching items and putting your positive energy into everything must make the Earl so proud of his wife. Well done 🇨🇦
Lady Spenser, I just love this channel so much. So lovely you want to use everything and preserve a heritage and history for all of us to enjoy. As an expat living in Tx, this brings so much joy to me. Thank you ever so much!
Congratulations on this! This is the best of the British! Beautiful gardens! Really interesting to see all the vases & flowers in the vases! Please keep doing more on the gardens, perhaps local artists, potters etc…!❤️🙏🏼❤️
I love your hands-on approach to your home. This was an extra special episode. I love flowers, especially, daffodils. I agree that beautiful things and flowers were meant to be seen and appreciated. Well done !
I've got some orange roses on my dining room table right now. It's a gloomy, rainy day and those roses just pop on my Pioneer Woman's tablecloth! So cheerful and bright... Nothing beats fresh flowers!!
This is so joyous to see you bringing the flowers into Althorp and using the pieces for the collection. The arrangements are so lovely. The tulips especially so. Having the garden growing blooms you can choose from on a seasonal basis will be wonderful.
So beautiful ❤️! Flowers cheer you up, bring a touch of love to your home and to everyone who sees them! Comfort! The smell will lift your spirits, too! Karen, so lovely 🌹!
Sixty flower arrangements sounds like a daunting task! Glad you have help. I agree that using the vases and other vessels honors the memory of those who created them, and those who chose them for your grand house. The walled garden project is so exciting. Your arrangements are fantastic. The tulip display pieces are so interesting, and hearken back to the days of Tulipmania. Have you thought of having professional photographs taken of seasonal arrangements featuring your favorite vases and making them available in a wall calendar? Or perhaps a book of the photos? I enjoy your videos so much. Greetings from California, where hills and deserts are abloom with native poppies and wildflowers. :)
What gorgeous floral arrangements! They add such beauty to each room. The tulipiere is a gorgeous antique vase. It must be very rewarding and wonderfully comforting to live in such a stunning home. You do amazing work, Karen. All the best to you and to your husband, Sir Charles Spencer.
I love your passion. You show why a lot of Americans are drawn to the UK and interested in the Royals. We don't have that much history. Thanks for telling the origin of the vase and the connection to Queen Mary. Interesting.
Seeing the beautiful parrot tulips, roses, poppies, runuculus and so many more was a treat. And I almost squealed at the cobalt and gold pieces that look like Maria Theresa pattern a friend has. Thank you for sharing these insights to Althorpe esp the books of the Gardeners who wrote down seeds. What a find if one had heirloom seeds saved from them?
a fantastic episode! As a flower grower and arranger (a budding one nevertheless), I particularly enjoyed this episode and will share it with my flower-arranging classmates
A friend of mine worked in a restaurant that had lots of vases that they rotated use of. Now & again they would be cloudy looking & they couldn't clean it by hand because of the narrow top. He said they used denture fizzy tablets & it worked every time to clean the vases.
Enjoy the juxtaposition of the present - flowers, with the past - glory of vases, locations and containers. Same juxtaposition with the libations? A tour of the wine cellar is also in order.
I don’t mean to be rude or nosey, but it would be interesting to know how much staff, and what type of staff is needed to run just the house itself. Thank you for your videos, they are wonderful! 💐

Thank God for the English aristocratic families . I am sure they don’t allow or bother with REALITY shows in their homes , says a lot about the common society doesn’t it 😊no Kardashians in their world . Listen & learn from them , even if you are not an Earl or Countess . 😊
If only.... Meghan/Harry had had your intelligence and sensitivity and positive drive. Sorry, as a regular on your channel, had to say it. So much lost
Flowers really do bring life into a home. I love that you are using all the wonderful items that have been stored away.
My local florist rarely has that volume in stock! 😉 Love the behind the scenes...the scale of such beauty.
Karen I love how you utilize all the beautiful items of the past so all can enjoy. Gorgeous flowers. 🇨🇦
