Firstly, thank you so much for the video. I replaced the starter on my 2016 Scion IM. You boosted my confidence and nailed every step and what to do and look for. It really is pretty easy with some mechanical familiarity. Im having a problem though. After install and checking connections I still have no start. I tried replacing the relay , cleaning battery and connections before the starter and that wasnt the issue. Any ideas? Its the same motor just different car.
Is the new starter possibly defective?
