It just made me realize even more that no matter how much you love to collect stuff, you can’t take them with you. I’m in my 60’s now. I will start downsizing and give away things I’ve kept for too long. They might mean so much to you but it could mean nothing to your kids or whomever you are given them to. I’d rather sell them to people who really appreciate it before I died.
I totally agree! I'm in my early 50's. My son just bought a home with tons of stuff that was left behind. There's lots to go through..so overwhelming. I try to be very intentional with my buying.
And THESE comments are why at 61 I’d rather hang out with younger people, than people my age. What a downer, depressing attitude you all have. Good grief do what you want but try not being fun sponges. If you CHOSE stuff over people that’s pretty pathetic, doesn’t mean that the rest of us can’t enjoy collecting AND having experiences and loving our people.
I would love to do that depending on the location. We're not shown that. Sometimes the house is beyond repair if the systems are not working and can't be brought back. I saw a ramp into the house, a bathtub chair so it looks like the owners became too ill to keep up the maintenance. Julie you need to get a Go Pro so you have two hands to pick up stuff and show us. It's so awkward with the finger pointing.
It makes me sad to see that this is what someone's life boils down to. All the things they loved and cherished now abandoned. Thank you, Julie, for rescuing them.
I always feel that way especially when I see old photos. Pictures of people that actually existed at one time long forgotten sold to complete strangers for decor. I love old photographs from the 1800’s and early 1900’s. Makes me sad their families didn’t care to hang on to them and pass them down to ancestors.
A persons life is much more than any physical items. Our lives are the sum of the love we gave and the good works we did! Who knows how many small business ladies were blessed by this woman’s investment into them as she shopped and visited with them. I see many happy moments shared between ladies with similar interests. Look at this feed- even us discussing her amazing collection is her blessing us!
Yes this house can be really something. They should take a big bin after the sale and dump the rest. Do a great clean up in and out. Paint everywhere, sand those floor, clean the garden, wash the windows, etc. Just with this, the price of that house will jump a lot! It can be a jewel for sure! It was certainly a beautiful house few years ago.
I don't know what my favorite item is because I just wanted everything!! Of course, what I really want is the house itself and about a million dollars to restore it to its former glory. Amazing finds.
Those crochet covers were beautiful! I've always wanted to go and pick through one of those old abandoned homes! Lucky you! That home was probably spectacular in it's day!
Wow!! I would love to see a picture of that house back in the day. I bet it was beautiful. I'm really liking that squirrel and loving those crocheted blankets.
How heartbreaking to think of what circumstances led up to abandonment. =( You chose some amazingly beautiful things. That's the kind of place I dream about rummaging through.
Oh my goodness! That house was fantastic! I think my fave find from your take home was those beautiful crocheted blankets. Some real artistry in those.
The hand crocheted blankets and beautiful pillows were my favorite items. Can you imagine the time and dedication that went into making those beautiful treasures?
Thank you for rescuing all those beautiful things! I couldn't choose a favorite but loved the pillows and that adorable squirrel! Hope that the house is rescued! It's so beautiful!
Julie, you need to buy that house and restore it!! I bet Joanna Gaines would love to help you with it. What a show that would be. And a beautiful home it would make for your family.❤️❤️❤️
You remember in the movie Titanic when the underwater cameras are filming the wreckage and then gradually the film morphs into what it looked like and the movie got started? That’s what I imagined as you were walking through the house. I’d love to go back in time and see what that house really looked like. The family or families that lived there. The lives that were lived, the memories that were made, the secrets that were kept and the peaceful moments enjoyed outside whether on the porch on the swing or walking in the grass smelling the flowers and listening to the birds. I’ll bet it was really something.
Awesome!! Love doing things like this, you really can find so many good treasures😊 Ohhh my goodness all that art & the books😮 Those built ins were stunning❤ This was a diggers paradise, over stimulation! Lol I'd want it all😄 I did some old outside building digging a couple wks ago, so cool! You really scored some great pieces.. thanks for taking us along😊
The state of that once stately home is so sad. It would be a shame if it gets torn down. I hope someone buys it and fixes it up whilst retaining as much of its period charm as possible. It would definitely have to be a labour of love.
I just kept thinking what a mess to clean up! But I could see how beautiful that house once was. I loved the crocheted blankets and the pillows, what I don't understand is how they weren't destroyed because it looked like things were such a mess every where. Watching this makes me want to take a trip to the south. Such fun!
AMAZING finds, Julie. I bet that house was spectacular in its day! It makes me wonder what the wall have seen in its days and the people who lived there. Great thrifting.
Wowwwwww...now THAT is an awesome place to be stuck for a day of thrifting. I'd be there for hours browsing away. The rooms and hallway are HUGE!!!!!!!!! Can't pick a favorite with this haul, Julie...it's all fantastic.
Wow I can imagine the happy people that once lived in that gorgeous house. If only those walls could speak . What happy times those people must of had. You are lucky to have found and saved those items and have them loved once more.❤😊
Amazing finds. absolutely love the crocheted covers!!! That house was so amazing. Can you imagine how beautiful it would be restored?? That bathtub!!! And the grounds with that brick room!!!!
Fantastic life collection! You found such cool items. Love the copper kettles, the marble piece and the linens. I would have gone for vintage bicycle and a ship… rare finds!
and Mrs T You are so lucky to have the oppotunity to go to places like that. Here in England we are not so lucky to be able to have access to such property. You found some great stuff well done
What a beautiful house!!! It was someone’s dream home at one point in time… It’s good that some of the interesting items will brighten someone else’s life. I love the history of that place… it looks like you enjoyed it as well. Thanks for sharing!!!
I would love to dig in that grand old house. I'd leave the paper items, books because they most definitely would smell. Dishes and fabrics could be washed.
Wowza! That was quite the haul! That house was pretty rough looking, such a shame it fell into disrepair like that. Glad you were able to rescue some items to give new homes to. Your appreciation of old things is very apparent in your videos.
You are a brave woman. I got willies as you were walking through the house! But those wallpapers were to drool over! Bet that place was lovely in its time. Such a shame that it went to dust. Thanks for sharing.
As always, I love shopping with you, your total restraint, and what you choose, amazes me. I know there are pieces that you would probably get, but decide not to because you’re home would turn into a hoarders house ha ha ha but I have the hardest time looking at Rusty and Crusty and broken pieces of wood and crates and furniture, and all that good stuff without buying it. Fun video can’t wait till the next one
That was quite an adventure in a beautiful abandoned Victorian house, but kind of spooky. So much to look at because of years of collection of things one loves to not matter in the end. My favorite thing you got was the shelf sitter.
What a fabulous old house! Please do a follow up for us if someone buys and renovates this masterpiece. Go back and tell them you did a video of the estate sale and encourage them to video the restoration of the house. That would be sweet!
One word, maybe 2. Beautiful but Overwhelmed. That house must have been beautiful, a mansion. Thank you for sharing I made spindle carrots this year, so much fun.
Hey Julie new subscriber here from the Memphis area! Recently found your channel when I searched thrifting at goodwill in Hernando and there you were! I just love the channel and cant wait to check the shop out! When this video showed up yesterday I almost fell out of my seat! I myself was out thrifting yesterday in Hernando and decided to take a ride down to Sardis and see how it was looking and on the ride I came across the listing for this estate sale which was about a hour away and it was already 3pm. I wish I had found it earlier in the week! This was such an amazing sale! You made some really great scores! I look forward to seeing more and growing with the channel and community!!!
Gonna say what everyone has said. That house is absolutely amazing. Its sad, because this is someones life, and thats what we are seeing. I hope the house doesn't get torn down because they just dont make them like they used to, but it is in some disrepair.
I can only imagine what a beautiful home that would've been back in time. Old houses have so much character. The brick archway would have been a beautiful rose garden.
SCORE! I must have one of those crocheted blankets! I've been searching for a cream colored, crocheted shawl/blanket to hang on a hook in my very first vignette I'm designing right now!
It just made me realize even more that no matter how much you love to collect stuff, you can’t take them with you. I’m in my 60’s now. I’ll be 57 this year & I have taken on a minimalist attitude. I want experiences not stuff.
In agreement. ❤ iam 59.
I totally agree! I'm in my early 50's. My son just bought a home with tons of stuff that was left behind. There's lots to go through..so overwhelming. I try to be very intentional with my buying.

I agree. I’ll be 70 this year.
Wow I hope someone fixes the house before it’s too late. Can you just imagine as a beautiful bed and breakfast ☺️
Yes that would be fantastic❤
I hope someone restores that house to it's full glory. It could be beautiful again...poor thing.
Imagine having an unlimited budget to fix this gorgeous house!!!! What a dream that would be 🩵🩵🩵
I would love to do that depending on the location. We're not shown that. Sometimes the house is beyond repair if the systems are not working and can't be brought back. That’s exactly what I was thinking! That house could be AMAZING again!
Same here, that house would be gorgeous fixed up. But you would need $$$ or time and skill.
I personally think it maybe beyond repair, it was pretty bad but would be a cool place to film movies
enjoyable Video!!! 🤗❤️👍5️⃣
It makes me sad to see that this is what someone's life boils down to. All the things they loved and cherished now abandoned. Thank you, Julie, for rescuing them.
Our treasure is in heaven!
That's how I feel too.
The people that do the sale bring in a lot of things from previous sales that did not sale, not everything comes from this house
I always feel that way especially when I see old photos. Pictures of people that actually existed at one time long forgotten sold to complete strangers for decor. That house was incredible. I imagined myself sitting on that porch, listening to the birds. 🎶🎶🎶
Or the rain..
Me too to both.

Me Too 😂❤
My favorite thing of all was the house!!!❤❤❤
What a grand old house that was in its day. Tile floor in kitchen unique. I hope someone restores it.
How did that pretty house get into that pathetic condition I wonder? What a pity.
What a treasure trove but I wanted to cry to see the house in such disrepair.
I know, it made me so sad to think it's been left like that 😥😥
Holy moly what beautiful old house
Those crochet covers were beautiful! I've always wanted to go and pick through one of those old abandoned homes! Lucky you! That home was probably spectacular in it's day!
How beautiful must this home have been in its heyday?? Just to sit and listen to the birds out on the porch… they must’ve lived in bliss ❤
Wow!! I would love to see a picture of that house back in the day. I bet it was beautiful. I'm really liking that squirrel and loving those crocheted blankets.
Is this house bring saved? What a treasure.
How heartbreaking to think of what circumstances led up to abandonment. =(

I hope someone purchases that house and brings it back to life! It's gorgeous, and the stories it could tell!!!
Even in all it's mess, that house is WONDERFUL!
Julie, you need to buy that house and restore it!! I bet Joanna Gaines would love to help you with it. What a show that would be. And a beautiful home it would make for your family.❤️❤️❤️
What an absolutely stunning house! I just loved those cushions and blankets... just beautiful!
You really found some great items! I love the squirrel shelf sitter and the pillows are so pretty. Sad to see that beautiful home deteriorating.
The crochet items and embroidery pillows are lovely. Making these items is becoming a lost art. So glad you rescued them.
Holy WHAT a HOUSE!!

I love that you rescue things that most people don’t want. Rusty crusty!
My favorite thing was the gorgeous house!
The state of that once stately home is so sad. It would be a shame if it gets torn down. I hope someone buys it and fixes it up whilst retaining as much of its period charm as possible. It would definitely have to be a labour of love.
I could dpend the entire day going through that house! So many treasures to be found!❤

BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURE IN THAT OLD HOME!!
That home is gorgeous and untouched just how I like them!
AMAZING finds, Julie. I bet that house was spectacular in its day! It makes me wonder what the wall have seen in its days and the people who lived there. Great thrifting.
You are so brave! I don’t think I would have ventured into that house. So sad to see the shape that it is in.
Wowwwwww...now THAT is an awesome place to be stuck for a day of thrifting. I'd be there for hours browsing away. The rooms and hallway are HUGE!!!!!!!!! Can't pick a favorite with this haul, Julie...it's all fantastic.
What a gotgeous old house! I hope someone comes along and cleans it up and fixes it up! It could be a showcase if refurbished!

Oh wow!! What a dream to get to shop in a house like that! You bypassed a bannister back chair that I would have on my primitive wish list. ❤️❤️
I would love to fix that house if I had the extra money laying around!! Thanks for taking us with you ♥️
Holy Moly! That house is amazing!!!
That house was amazing in itself!! I can only imagine it in its splendor.
Some good things inside too! Treasures!!😲
That house is beautiful!!!!
OMG! What an awesome place to go thrifting! I would've spent all day there, and gotten loads of things! Those old leather bound books were to die for!
Fantastic life collection! You found such cool items. Love the copper kettles, the marble piece and the linens. I would have gone for vintage bicycle and a ship… rare finds!
Wow, what a beautiful house! I wish we knew some history behind it.
Seeing this house in that condition just makes me wonder what it looked like back in its time ! I bet that home was stunning .
I’m glad you rescued those books.
I would think those books would be a bit moldy and stinky. Just my opinion, of course.
My favorite was the house, so gorgeous! Hope it gets restored and not destroyed! So many great treasures, giant score!
Oh my gosh! This was AMAZING to go through. Anyone else see that big red J and B (6:06) and wonder why Julie didn’t say anything!! 😂
I think I saw a mirror with another liquor brand on it too. I wonder if they owned a liquor store or a bar.
What a beautiful house, how sad it was not taken care of. So many treasures.
OMG I would go crazy. I love going through old farm houses. But it is so sad too.
Wow! If someone could remodel this place to its former glory!
What a treat to explore that beautiful old house. It would be interesting to know how old the house is. 😊
and Mrs T You are so lucky to have the oppotunity to go to places like that. Here in England we are not so lucky to be able to have access to such property. You found some great stuff well done
What an amazing house and property. The bricked in area reminds me of "The Secret Garden" What a beautiful place it could be again.
Someone was sure into building clipper ships there was a lot of them those were a lifetime hobby for sure.
What a beautiful house!!! It was someone’s dream home at one point in time… It’s good that some of the interesting items will brighten someone else’s life. I love the history of that place… it looks like you enjoyed it as well. Thanks for sharing!!!

You are a brave woman. I got willies as you were walking through the house! But those wallpapers were to drool over! Bet that place was lovely in its time. Such a shame that it went to dust. Thanks for sharing.
How I'd love to live in that house all fixed up and beautiful!
I wish we could see the house in it’s former glory. That must have been something!

That house is a gem, thanks for the walk through!!!❤️
That was quite an adventure in a beautiful abandoned Victorian house, but kind of spooky. So much to look at because of years of collection of things one loves to not matter in the end. My favorite thing you got was the shelf sitter.
So sad the big #2 crock was so damaged. Loved it
What a fabulous old house! Please do a follow up for us if someone buys and renovates this masterpiece. Go back and tell them you did a video of the estate sale and encourage them to video the restoration of the house. That would be sweet!
I’m not sure I would have known where to go or look in that treasure of an old, beautiful house. You showed great restraint. Lol Beautiful finds. ✌🏻🤍
So much stuff in that house. So sad to see the disarray. There were so many old books! What a wonderful video Julie!❤
One word, maybe 2. Beautiful but Overwhelmed. That house must have been beautiful, a mansion.
Thank you for sharing
I made spindle carrots this year, so much fun.
Wow that is so sad. That house use to be amazing. You got some neat items.

Those crocheted afghans are gorgeous.
Loved that place tho, full of treasure! Glad you got to pick and choose some books and things. Couldn’t have walked away from some of the wall art.
Loved the squirrel!
Gonna say what everyone has said. That house is absolutely amazing. Its sad, because this is someones life, and thats what we are seeing. I hope the house doesn't get torn down because they just dont make them like they used to, but it is in some disrepair.
This is so sad..I hope someone buys the house and brings life back onto it.
I love those big old houses ❤
Hands down the copper tea pots are my favorite. What a fun place to go thru.
I liked that container with all the small wooden pieces
Thanks for sharing this with us! Incredible what’s in there! What an amazing place that could be again just given the right amount of love and care!!
I can only imagine what a beautiful home that would've been back in time. Old houses have so much character. The brick archway would have been a beautiful rose garden.

I love the old house and all the old stuff you found!!
It’s sad to see how much a house deteriorates and how the things we treasure are treated when we’re gone.
Loved it All.. but the favorite were the throws
Omgosh!!! Lucky you gettin them crocheted afgans!!!! I especially like the o especially done in the pineapple pattern!!!!
The house is my favorite, then the books and the glass jar with the bubble top.
