    Nobody pushed Russians out of the city centres, those dorm districts were basically built for them when they came or were sent to the Baltics during the Soviet occupation. At the time apartments in those those buildings were considered highly desireable.

    Excuse me chief, but you said no cities were founded by balts? Vilnius is legitimately the most lithuanian city you will find.

      @@aistisnavickas1937 thank you for questioning me on this! Actually Vilnius used to be under heavy influence of Poland and was considered less Lithuanian than Kaunas by most. The city Vilnius was initially built and settled by Germans and Jews.

      @@kleinehout2896 no it was not. Google the hostory of Vilnius. Gediminas built it. Was he a jew?

      @@aistisnavickas1937 I agree. Gediminas was a Lithuanian duke. Hence Vilnius is a partial exception to my statement: none of the cities on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea were built by the Balts. Thank you for correcting my mistake.
