Great review, Jürgen, for a great album. Peavy has been a true icon since my childhood with a now massive catalog to date. Even if I don't think every era of the band is equally strong, this is still by far one of the best German Metal bands ever existed. Would be great if Marty and Alan could realize the ranking marathon with you asap!
Great review Jurgen! I’ve been a fan since ”Perfect Man” and I appreciate all of their different musical directions. This new album(s) is a great complement to the Rage collection, and will be a contender for best album of the year.
Enjoyed the review. I got the album earlier this week and loving it so far. Do a 90 minute album, it never drags or feels overdone. Good stuff. Sadly they kicked off their 40th anniversary tour in my city - Toronto, Canada and only about 50 -75 people attended. I think there was a serious problem on the show promotion side. First time Rage ever played Canada.
It´s well worth trying out! Maybe I´ll do more reviews here... if they let me, hahaha... they should probably syncronize it for the native English speakers...
Good to see you popping up on the reviews for the boys. You're right i think if i spent time with it id feel happy with it, they don't disappoint. Im very much in catch up mode with them and at 10 albums i feel like I have enough forca little while. Great review though brother 🤘
It´s called "Doomology". Seven LPs with live recordings (all good quality), demos and rare versions. It even has a track with Tony Martin (Black Sabbath), Candlemass checked him out to replace Messiah.

They´ve done so much right in their latter days! Love the band since "Execution...". Tschörman Metal at it´s finest.

I'm a huge fan of perfect man and secrets in a weird world. I kind of lost interest in them after that. But I love this new record.
Another solid Rage album but way too long. They could have picked the best 12 tracks and made it a great one.
Sure it takes some time... listen to it as two different albums. 40 to 50 minutes seperated from each other...
