Quatrevelo rubber foot-hatch
มุมมอง 4.6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This closed foot hole hatch for Quatrevelo is let’s say the winter variant of the standard open foot hole hatch. It is made out of carbon, partly glued by epoxy, partly by polyurethane (PUR) resin. PUR resin stays flexible after curing. en.velomobiel.nl/accessoires/

Super schönes Fahrzeug 👍
Danke schön
Oh, wow! I wondered how the wind tunnels for velomobiles worked.
Do you have a factory that produces these things? I am from Saudi Arabia and I want to export
How can I contact you
Hello, you can visit our website: velomobiel.nl, there is an email adres and tel. number you can use to take contact with us.
Hello
Love it!
What beauty, a real head turner! 🇨🇦
It sounds perfect for me I'm 174cm.
looks fun!
😍🥰
Looks great!
Snoek looks very nice!
Wow, looks a lot better under a bright color!
Essa cor ficou linda 🎉
No intake vent?
maybe intake is like quest, in floor under pedal
Magnifique !
Beautiful video! Nice choice of music...
Would this part work for a DF XL as well? Good idea.
Yes, very good idea!
Hello Arjen, the idea is not ours, it has been made by other guys among velomobilists... So the idea is suitably for most of the velomobile types/models/brands. But this product fits only the Snoek.
Coole Aktion 😁😁😁
Especially as the cockpit is so tight,( in the rear of the cockpit )that only a slim shouldered person can ride comfortably..as noted in John Williams video..
They should make a xl version of the snoek in the same way as a dfxl
Just the kind of thing we need right now... Sweet!
It will be interesting to see the velos can opted to use Pinion Gearbox with Gates belt system. With this gearbox and belts, the 4 wheels QV may have 4WD to conquer the snowy roads.
I want one ASAP.
Super!
What's Snoek's turning radius?
Ca 14 m
bellissimo
I love it Eva, thank you for sharing with us you wonderful Snoek!
Спасибо за обзор конструкции.
Snoerk is for short people only. I am 1,84 cms high, it's not for me, I know it. But with my shell DIY around an Azub Ti-Fly I think I will be lighter than yours... Around 20 kgs.
I have seen one person that got the Snoek and is 180 cm and he likes the size of the Snoek, he admits it is a little tight but for where he rides it's a great bike. I think 180 cm is the top limit so, I am sorry you don't fit as I think you might have liked it if you got the chance to ride one. If you can put a shell around the Ti-Fly I believe you might be 1kg lighter or the same weight as the Snoek after all the electronics are in place.
(also @johnyang1420) My height is also 1,84, I had an excellent experience test riding a larger version, Snoek-L, at Velomobiel in Dronten.
I'd like to see this loaded with battery's and an electric motor, make it go stupid fast and stuff. It would actually be a really efficient form of transportation.
Snoek is not available with an e-assist. It has all single-sided mounted wheels, also in the rear. The rear wheel motor is not possible. A mid-motor like Bafang (use in other velomobiles) might cause troubles as well. The Q factor (the distance between the pedal attachment points on the crank arms) of the Bafang cranks is much higher (wider) than what Snoek can accommodate. Snoek's Q-factor is 127mm. Motors cranks (what I can find) are between 155-185mm. With a motor, you would rub your thighs against wheel-wells and/or your toe point against the hood (top of the body of the Snoek).
It goes stupid fast like this, what do you need a motor for? ;-)
DM's comment is in reverse. It is already efficient, but adding motors reduces the efficiency drastically.
Will there be a Snoek XL?
haaaa! great one!
Maybe this will be Olympic sometimes ? ;-))
Super! Thank you very much for the video.
Great Idea to open the bottom !
What is the track width of the Snoek? It looks smaller than the quest xs.
Yes, it is smaller than QuestXS. The Snoek wheel track is ca 59,5 cm and the QuestXS ca 62 cm (just like Quest).
I don't have a velomobile yet but this is my favorite. I am too tall, though, at six feet tall.🙁. Hopefully you will produce a Snoek XL one day.👍
The snoek is just a smaller version of the df. So if u need a bigger one the df is bigger one in ur case u will need the df xl with covered wheels.
The foothatch is a nice touch! The proto's I've tested did not have that yet! With the 150mm (?) cranks and my 42 shoesize I was just clearing the top/hood and my heals were protruding below the bottom. Should an even smaller crank be a wise decision for me? Is that possible? The cover for the swingarm is also very clever. I'm curious what will be possible and what the differences are compared to the proto when it's time to go over the options for mine! Thanks for this short clip!
Hello Dennis, you should be able to fit with your shoe size and 150mm cranks. But you can have also 140mm cranks. Just need to be tested. More specs are here: en.velomobiel.nl/snoek/technische_gegevens.php
How much cost? Where i can buy?
Hello Marina, thanks for you interest. The price of the Snoek starts at €8750. And you can read more about it here: en.velomobiel.nl/snoek/ en.velomobiel.nl/snoek/technische_gegevens.php You can find there contact info and call or mail with us to order. Regards, Eva
QuattroSnoek? I would love the Quattrovelo, but have the feeling it is too big for me. I am 171cm tall (used to be more 😉) and I love the 4 wheel design, but the size and weight makes me want to put e-assist in it
That looks like so much fun...
WOW I want a white one ! For my DFXL !!
How long does it take to receive a snoek after ordering one?
Hello Mr Dibani, it depends on where you live. For more details please send us an email. Oh and almost forgot, there are at this moment 50 customers waiting for their Snoek.
Thanks Eva- but as my Snoek won't be racing I'll stick with the heaviest option as I like to see everything behind me! (A few extra grams won't make much difference to my speed!)
The light ones work too!!!
Interesting, the last two mirrors are less aerodynamic than the second one. They are like the mirrors of the 80's cars, the second one is closer to the current cars. One thing I don't understand is why the first two mirrors are mounted like that! A better option would be to have the same mechanism as in the cars before the electrification of the mirrors. With a through axle mounted on ball joints it would be possible to adjust the mirror from the inside which would be very convenient during a ride.
Price?

like to have that velo.
I hope the one velo dealer in the United States gets one of these soon, I would like to know if I can fit in it. I meet the height requirement by 7 cm, but I have wide shoulders for my size. I ride a DFxl instead of a DF because the latter is tight for my shoulders. I would order a Snoek in an instant if it fit. Looking at the video, my guess is it would be too tight for me but I would like to verify that.
Were you able to check-out the Snoek, to see if you will fit? This is a problem that I think I might be having and would like to hear how things went for you.
@@Brian-bp5pe Hello, no, I didn't have that opportunity. I was hoping the dealer I bought my DFxl from out of Plano TX would get one in, but he went out of business quite a while back.
