This isn't too bad of a reference list. Although Towering Defense was from Juno's BIG SHOT video as Call for Help in his video had [Towering Defense] as part of the lyrics (and also references CoolMathGames). MOTI never touched Deal Gone Wrong in their version of Big Shot, as far as I remember.
I love the various references to that old Schwarzenegger version of Mr. Freeze. Also "perhaps I had to change the plot" is a clever reference to the fact that this is in a fangame.
The references to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze serve two purposes: - To go along with the ice theme - Since the theme of Snowgrave is Noelle “getting stronger” the references to Schwarzenegger, a bodybuilder, reflect that
@@JunoSongs Now I'm imagining that every time Noelle got stronger, the XP literally caused her to gain muscle mass, so she's just now inexplicably really buff when the fountain closes.
for anyone who doesn't know, "too big to fail" is a business term meaning that a company has become so economically powerful that the government decides to actively prevent it from failing in order to prevent an economic disaster apparently the term usually refers to banks, but technically any kind of corporation could be "too big to fail", even a circus
@@Dan280974 And, the funniest thing is, those banks tend to fail, and they fail _hard_ since everyone relied on them for everything. Too big to fail, but they failed harder the smaller ones. Do you see any similarities to any one big-shot salesman and his Addison friends?
Massive props to Juno's lyricism in this one, because I don't think there're many others who could possibly manage to cram this many references into a single cover!
Can we just talk a little about how he put "Big Arms" in lyrics at 1:47 as reference? That's cool, really, as it's motive is playing in background. (And it's also Eggman's final boss theme, so yeah, this makes more sense for those "announcement" parts.)
4:33 I love that its hyper beam's sound effect. Its such a cool ''blast'' sound too. 3:02 I also love that spamton says salesman in braquets, meaning that its not what he truly wanted to say. As explained multiple times, when spamton says something in braquets, the word in braquest is basically hiding what spamton really wants to say. So salesman being in braquets implies that he wanted to say sonething else. Plus that lyric is from the section of the song that is a more up-beat version of ''battle against a true hero''.
I like that “I’M TOO [Big] TO FAIL!” sentence. When you know the history behind it, it’s quite funny in this context. For those who don’t know: During the great economic recession the only thing that everyone trusted was banks. Why? “The banks are too big to fail!” Needless to say, the banks failed.
"Too big to fail" is the principal that large banks need to be bailed out in the event of failure to sustain the economy, not the idea that banks can't fail at all.
That's more funnier when you realize that, and then you notice spamton also failed to stop Noelle and the player despite him being "TOO [big] TO FAIL!"
Can I just say I absolutely love the amount of references you've included to other covers? Spamton mentions the "Power of [Whale]" and "Don't touch that [Lever]" which are references to MOTI's covers of NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A and BIG SHOT. You reference your own cover of BIG SHOT with mentioning how Noelle "wears the pants" now, the "pipis fry pipis cry", and "towering defense". You use a couple of clips from your meme Megalovania covers for Megalovania bits and of course include Zavodila again lol. You use a sample from MOTI's Power of NEO cover and even reference to lyrics in their Battle Against a True Hero cover! Such a huge conglomeration built on years of different covers!
Also Zavodila reference combined with [getting freaky on the friday night, yeah] are most likely a reference to Seek's cool deltarune mod(FNF), where Juno's voice was used once again for Spamton. And he said these lines, and also plenty of other cool ones in that song
When I heard “and here we are!” I just about had a heart attack man. The shear chaos of the lyrics jumping between references and spamton himself talking perfectly embodies his chaotic personality. Love it!
The Alfred Coleman bits sent me directly into the aether. The amount of references to games, movies, and other deltarune fan-things is absolutely staggering! Amazing work dude!
I like how you mixed your version of [Big Shot] with lyrics and man on the internet's version. And even added extra references. It's perfect. I can't wait for the starwalker version. Also 3:24 funny skeleton man
HOLY [[Cungadero]] YOU DID NOT JUST SUDDENLY COME OUT WITH THIS MASTERPIECE OF SOME OF MY FAVORITE SPAMTON CONTENT. 0:45 The one-two punch of the meme Megalovania with lyrics, followed by Power of NEO and the Giga Puddin' commercial left me reeling. 0:33 “I’ll [Proceeds to charity] with my plan” See, this is especially funny because on the anniversary, there was a 24 hour charity goal hosted by Spamton.

He's the hero we never wanted, needed or deserved, he's our captain Quark of this timeline. And yet, he may not be a hero, but He's the honest salesman we cannot afford to repay for his noble services of giving us this song. Great job Juno! The Eggman sample from the Shadow fandub is originally "king of hell", too. Edit: the specific sample is actually "sin", I think. "King of hell" *is* spoken several times in the dub, though.
Another amazing number from the best currently existing Spamton voice ! Glad to be on the front row to watch this masterpiece, it truly feels like the ultimate culmination of all songs you've done/been part of ! Absolutely epic, keep up the good work, Juno !! 💛
3:51 Love the reference to bigger than you, I honestly thought that song would be too obscure for even you. The line "The [fountain] will be [mine all mine]" is likely a reference to Juno's own Doopliss song. Also the [GIGA]s near the start might be from the giga pudding song, not sure though. Updated the list. Thanks!
1:40 is a reference to spamton's rambling in the original BIG SHOT
3:48 DooPliss Battle with lyrics :)
I love the various references to that old Schwarzenegger version of Mr. Freeze. Also "perhaps I had to change the plot" is a clever reference to the fact that this is in a fangame.
The references to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze serve two purposes:
- To go along with the ice theme
- Since the theme of Snowgrave is Noelle “getting stronger” the references to Schwarzenegger, a bodybuilder, reflect that
I interpreted "perhaps i had to change the plot" being about snowgrave in general.
@@JunoSongs Now I'm imagining that every time Noelle got stronger, the XP literally caused her to gain muscle mass, so she's just now inexplicably really buff when the fountain closes.
@@willow5945 I want someone to make fanart of this now
@@Sandthesand oh no
also, the "i'm too big to fail" line was perfect and probably the most underrated line in the song
for anyone who doesn't know, "too big to fail" is a business term meaning that a company has become so economically powerful that the government decides to actively prevent it from failing in order to prevent an economic disaster
apparently the term usually refers to banks, but technically any kind of corporation could be "too big to fail", even a circus
@@hatsuneblacktrousers Very interesting.
@@Dan280974 And, the funniest thing is, those banks tend to fail, and they fail _hard_ since everyone relied on them for everything. Too big to fail, but they failed harder the smaller ones.
Do you see any similarities to any one big-shot salesman and his Addison friends?
1:35 is best part
0:22
Reference to Dr. Freeze. One of his lines was "What killed the dinosaurs? The ice age." So he's calling Noelle an Ice ace.
BI thought he said "you killed the dinosaurs, I killed tupac" but that makes more sense
Massive props to Juno's lyricism in this one, because I don't think there're many others who could possibly manage to cram this many references into a single cover!
2:11 i like how spamton just kinda said "please just let me free" like its a normal thing to say
He says it so normally that it stands out in this song
it kinda sounds like squidward lol
Can we just talk a little about how he put "Big Arms" in lyrics at 1:47 as reference? That's cool, really, as it's motive is playing in background.
(And it's also Eggman's final boss theme, so yeah, this makes more sense for those "announcement" parts.)
The first one I’ve seen to understand why I reference Eggman in that part ;)
I DIDN'T NOTICE IT WAS BIG ARMS HOLY SHIT
HOLY SHIT HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THAT??
I think the most impressive thing is that Spamton can rhyme with his glitches like he just pulls the other voices from different media himself.
1:39 What an honorable way to go
4:33 I love that its hyper beam's sound effect.
Ikr it fits so well
I think [Salesman] was in brackets to replace MOTI's Battle Against a True Hero Cover where the lyrics are 'Face a true hero' instead

Yep.
Oh, now its even funier haha
"Too big to fail" is the principal that large banks need to be bailed out in the event of failure to sustain the economy, not the idea that banks can't fail at all.
@@derphunk5338 Yea, and people trusted that. And they still failed…
That's more funnier when you realize that, and then you notice spamton also failed to stop Noelle and the player despite him being "TOO [big] TO FAIL!"
From 1:40 to until the end it's like spamton is throwing all his rage and Juno made it sound good
0:23 is this a reference to the “What killed the dinosaurs, the ice age?” Thing mr freeze says?
yes!

Love it!
"So.. giga spamton, uh smash, yea definitely smash"
The Alfred Coleman bits sent me directly into the aether. The amount of references to games, movies, and other deltarune fan-things is absolutely staggering! Amazing work dude!

"And as the DOW Jones rises and falls, this [Big Bull] rules it all!" is such a dramatically sung lyric, I can't get over how good this song is!

Juno actually does his own artwork.
the line "Bouta be a warm December," feels somewhat dark.
Gotta love that nice throwback to MOTI's Battle Against a True Hero cover at 2:59.
Juno's singing voice is just so perfect for Spamton
