Wonderful! I was blessed to spend Christmas in Dresden a few years ago. The Christmas markets are magical. Our family took us to Berlin to enjoy a market there as well.

Love the vlog! I'm here in New York where it's cold but (seemingly to me) not as Festive as it appears in Europe. The markets...the snow...the camaraderie - was like a post card. I for one knew that you'd never leave your fur children without proper babysitters. They wouldn't have looked so loved and well cared for when first we met them. I too cannot wait until the first Christmas table setting at your Chateau. I bet the excitement of decorating won't just stop at the table but will grow to every nook and cranny.

Chateau are meant to be cheaper if they are listed with national trust although challenges it presents opportunity to obtain funding for restoration, chateau de purnon has another Aussie couple who have bought a few years ago look at their channel as well as Jenny as other person suggested, she said names are different and it's apparently cheaper the more south you go.

My love of Chateau Restoration began with her. There are about eight that I follow and I love them all. During Covid, she visited a Chateau that I family wanted to see, but cannot travel to. She sent back videos of the Château, when restrictions lifted they were able to travel to France, and bought the château, I believe sight unseen. They are Vlog is called Lady of the Château..

They have a channel that is now on for over a year where they have their entire chateau search in their vlogs and they made multiple trips to France where they show all of the chateaux that they considered before finding their own chateau.
