It’s called Gunfire Reborn. It’s an FPS Rougelike. Adore that game. If you like Rougelikes and playing shooters it’s the perfect mashup. So fun. I’ll play more on streams here soon! Make sure to follow the twitch and turn on notis!! Thank you so much for watching!!!
All depends on the specs of the monitor I guess. I used to do laptop work at coffee shops and would use my iPad as a second monitor with side car. Portable monitors can be super helpful. All about the use case and whether or not you need it. The quality of the monitor itself is about its specs and panel and such. Thanks so much for watching walker!
To follow up on this though after thinking about it. I really love the idea of tablets having secondary display modes. Allows you to get double value out of your purchase like I have with my iPad.
The steam deck probably doesn’t have the power to stream and game at the same time. You just need to grab a capture card from Best Buy. Pretty much any capture card would work. Then you can stream the steam deck footage off any computer you’ve got and game on the deck comfortably.
Why not just plug the elgato into the deck and an hdmi and use obs and a tv? It captures in desktop mode and gamemode with this method. Seems like you went further then necessary
I wouldn’t really wanna run OBS in the background of the steam deck. It’s pretty tight on computation power. Using another computer to stream makes it easy. Already have the capture card plugged in. Makes the gaming experience better too.
Sweet video. What was that game you were playing? Looked fun

I will be watching for that obs video, keep them coming.
Sounds good. I’ll make sure the tutorial is in the coming weeks! New video and stream in a couple hours!! Thank you so much for watching. 😊
Another banger of a video, Andrew, keep up the great work. Quick question: What's your opinion on portable monitors? Would love to know your thoughts.

I wish there was an EASIER WAY. I have a steam deck but i cannot figure out how to stream live.

@AndrewTaylorYT it never seems to cause me any issues tho. But I def see what u mean for more demanding games.
my steamdeck just goes black screen when i plug it into the dock
What monitor are you plugging it into? If it’s not based off a native resolution for the Steam deck you’ll need to change it in the desktop settings.
