Thanks for the shout out, glad you like the mod (I'm xtcrefugee on Creations and Nexus).
Disabling her dialogue while she's following actually wouldn't be difficult, I use a script fragment when you dismiss her to add her to the required factions for doctor dialogue and could have another script fragment that does the reverse and removes those factions while she's following. The problem is you could then just dismiss her in the field, have her heal you, then immediately talk to her and have her follow you again. So I'd have to add conditions so it only works on a ship etc... and that could get messy.
One benefit to the mod as it is (all my mods that use a plugin, in fact) is that they're all overrides, no new forms and no long running scripts, so you can freely add, remove and reorder them without any risk to your save. I'm inclined to keep things simple.

I think there is another mod on Nexusmods called "Working Infirmaries" or something. If you have a doctor in your crew (Rosie being the only one in the game) you can lie down in a bed in your infirmary and she heals your afflictions. This might even be more useful.

There's a Creation that does that except I don't think you need Rosie you just heal yourself.

@@human3504 You can either have Rosie or someone else with the medic skill, or have a certain rank in Medicine or something else, but yeah, that mod would be great for actually making infirmaries useful besides having a research lab & pharmaceutical workbench (which you can add to any other hab modules via the ship decorator anyways).

Been using this mod for awhile. I love it! Never had a reason to have Rosie on the crew until this mod came out. Great video Crimson!

This seems super handy for survival mode. If you’re out exploring or doing missions, having to go back to a town to talk to a doctor or burn through your consumables kinda sucks. I agree with you that the healing should only be when on the ship, though

When I found her and hired her in Akila she was wearing a doctor outfit, so not sure why yours wasn’t. I now have an infirmary on my ship and it feels more immersive especially with the Starvival - Immersive Survival Addon: Enhanced Infirmary mod and always having Rosie on my ship at all times helps out alot when I need a doctor.

A medic (doctor) is always nice to have along. That being said, if you’re limited to one and not a squad (4+) it seems kind of limiting, unless we could give her a weapon skill as well. Since Doctors already know how to hurt you, now that can do it from range!

Old School Crimson. Hearing those legs snap brought me back to simpler times.
Seems like a handy mod to have for having Afflictions turned all the way up. Low-level would definitely benefit.
For roleplay purposes, also a good idea and the reason that I would install the mod.
But I'm not going to do so, for now. I do well enough using field medical supplies.

Ive found her in my ships infirmary more times than not after installing this mod. (Sheer luck i do believe). Having a reason to have her on my crew is awesome, her having leadership and not taking up a crew slot was just an over the top bonus. I hate resting, but run the option to have food do nothing, rest only afflictions healing for the extra xp, so this mod was absolutely perfect for me.

I have this mod from the pre-creations time. It was liteally a saimple bat command executing a console command. She wears a doctors coat and stays on board and takes care of the informary.

Her accent isn't Australian, its more New Zealand. The bar tender at red mile is an Australian accent. ;)

My plan was to leave her on the ship as a medic how do u dismiss her? I don't get the option to dismiss but I was able to hire her and she is on my ship
Mickey the food vendor is ah good idea but guess what D.E.R.E.K the robot gives u toast often so that's free food on the hardest difficulty 😆
