Today we take a look at some awesome prefab houses to turn your outposto into a home/Fortress Link To The Paid Pack Below creations.bethesda.net/en/sta...
I think one of the akila style ones could be the house from Adreja's companion quest where you go to find her friend and he built a house on some distant planet and when you get there you have to defeat the Varrun zealots who are looking for him. The interior looked similar to that house. Could be wrong though.
I love this mod, easily worth the 600 credits especially as I will spend 100 hours min building a settlement. And the tiny house with side entrance fits up to large landing pad, no airlock.if you miss height by an inch just toss down a rug to level it for walking
There's no issues with decorating them either. I furnish them and everything's fine :) Thanks for the shout out Crimson, yeah. I got a whole castle complex built on a couple worlds with this mod now.
Houses with no interior cells are great if you actually want working windows. Even if you use the "Dream Home" copy, that'd be an improvement over the original model. Do the shutters open? It's probably a good idea to get in the habit of closing the exterior doors if you don't want unwanted visitors. Hopefully, they don't spawn inside your houses haha. For me personally, the whole "Skyrim" / castle sets aren't really an attraction. I feel like the author could have put more of the other content in their gallery to make the mod more attractive to anyone who feels the same way. It's still a good value even if I don't plan on building a "castle". Even with the great houses, I'm really terrible at decorating. This is especially true considering starting over with NG+, so I hope someone eventually makes a per-hab import/export mod for decorations and furniture.
Coffee time! Nova Galactic Habs for the win. Empty for home decorating or vanilla for us lazy ship dwellers. Great video, thanks for posting so I’m not tempted.
I ve definitely heard tge idea of modding in Nirn the planet from elder scrolls. What id like to see is to go a step further.. an invasion. Because really we need to settle once and fall or the debate, science & tech vs Magic. But you could also have the factions of each fighting against each other.
This mod is one of the first Creation Club items I got (although it's not enabled, since it's not achievement friendly), but I am really looking forward to building/re-building some of my outposts on habitable planets with these assets. What would go great with it would be a mod that adds placeable plants for landscaping to go with the garden & lantern tree.
Lol, back again because I'm watching in chunks. You can put stairs in the houses you just have to use the smaller variant and adjust heights. I have steps up to the attic that way.
just a warning for anyone, thinking about purchasing this and using it as a outpost. In my experience, if you put the workstations in any of these buildings, the people you assigned to the outpost will not enter them or live in them.
@@EdmondEnache most NPC's wont go into premade homes ATM ie TG's and DM from derre tech is struggling with it. i even asked Elinora and she couldnt help if Moders are getting it to work then i wish they would share it with everyone
@@Atarijmike77 Thanks for letting me know. In a way it’s a good thing because it means it will be sorted at some point. CK is still new, TBH. Looking forward for all the kinks to be ironed out.
@@EdmondEnache Just a quick follow up IDK if your interested but Tank Girl found a way to make nav meshes work and shared it with derek from derre tech "DM" on youtube and he shared how to do it
I feel I would like this mod if it fit into the game. In terms of resources needed, research, skill requirements, power needed, etc. Aesthetically it fits the world, but makes no sense in terms of you building a character and it fitting into the existing outpost builder. I really want an expansion of LIST where you could build towns like this, attract settlers, set up shops, etc; but I want it to fit into the game. It's annoying how so many mods are just shortcuts and cheats. As a player, shortcuts and cheats don't feel satisfying at all.
Thank you for showing us the contents. I wonder if these paid mods are really good for me. Of course, the taste for a mod or design depends on the player, but we cannot easily try a paid mod like we try free mods. So I appreciate these kinds of vids.
Did you notice that none of the structures can be navigated by NPCs? There is no navigation mesh assigned to these so if you have outpost crew they won’t be able to use them properly. At most they will sit bunched together in the area where you put the control station. Your active follower(s) will only teleport from time to time to be near you. For a paid mod - $6 - it’s quite a big oversight. I hope they will update if and add navigation meshes, otherwise is a bit pointless.
Well, at least it'll keep the critters out :) Building an elaborate settlement and then having the NPCs refuse to use any of it sounds more like an FO4 "feature" haha. I wouldn't be surprised if a future update adds the navmeshes.
@@Licmebro I tried on Nexus by leaving a message, there are other messages about missing nav-meshes there as well. On Bethesda’s Creations you can only report it for bad/inappropriate content or description and I don’t want to get the modder in trouble as they might be working on a fix.
It's no doubt worth it, some amazing stuff. But until you can recruit settlers and they can use the houses like in Fallout 4 it's just not worth making a town. It's great for a player home though as long as your followers can use it also.
Personally if I’m gonna spend the equivalent of 6 real dollars on a mod for just the houses I really appreciate that I don’t have to work in game for six real hours just to build one of the buildings I paid real money for lol also I’m most interested in this mod for the modest small houses, I couldn’t believe that we couldn’t build them in the base game to begin with when the civilian POIs have charming brick and wood hand/ houses
@@CrimsonFlyboy love your channel btw, you’ve become my official first stop now when it comes to seeing these paid creations and if I wanna buy them or not
is it cool? sure. Does it work? yes...KINDA. I cant understand how to build a defense tower then somehow get up into it, so i can view my outpost and set up defenses. There are no snap points, no stairs snap to it, and it does not explain how to set things up at all. The creator should have included ALL avail info with it. ALL of it...esp for a paid pack. Ya def need internal stairs and snap points.
Most likely not, as with fallout 4s settlement defense, the enemies spawn in proximity to the player so they may appear inside, it will prevent the wild animals on yhe planet from entering though
@@CrimsonFlyboy Actually, they get dropped off from space ships, which is why using Shipping Container Foundations as walls is the Vanilla meta for such things. That said, it is a pain to get said "walls" to corner flushly. Hence my interest in this mod.
This mod is fantastic, but just a little heads up for anyone on the xbox series s, this mod will crash/freeze your game constantly, which is unfortunate. Just a heads up before you spend money on it.

I love this mod. It makes outposts infinitely better! Also, if you combine it with the Colonist mod you can make little villages.

New subscriber, love these videos. I played 400 hrs of Starfield then burned out in December... am back playing again after the updates.

Nav mesh is a issue with all the Mods in anything created ATM hopefully Moders will figure it out and not have to wait for a patch from bethesda

Im guessing since you had to pay for it, the modder wanted you to have instant access without having to grind for resources.
This 🙂

I agree. More realistic components should be required for building these structures. When things become to easy, it ruins the immersion.

Nice but I'll wait for a more modern/futuristic version. Too medieval for me. Great video Crimson! Kool-kool!😁
It would be nice if the author also added versions with ready-made furniture.
This adds to the outpost builder? Sign me up
Yep, all are buildable at any of your outposts

The Bard's Beacon mod allows colonists to come to planet (up to 20).
So it kinda works in conjunction with this mod.
Some Skyrim buildings were imported
They probably don't require many resources because it's paid. If I paid for it and it required a bunch of rare resources I would be pissed

It stands for orange.
That would make alot of sense lol

They seem to have done away with snapping in its entirety, so that's not really the fault of the mod author, that lays at bethesdas feet
@@CrimsonFlyboy Well the standard prefabs snap together just fine so I’m sure rules can be created for all modules.
That's actually a fair point.
It is same coes house
Not usefull on plantes with no atmosphere.
On a purely personal note. no, the mod is not worth it even if it was free. If this is a thing that excites you as a player then it should be fine.
Look like Skyrim luxury homes. As a Starfield mod, this looks like utter crap to me.
