Love this new format! Almost like each of us is getting a personal tour, watching you take care of your tanks and do your chores. The slicker an edited video is, the less personal it feels. And if anyone doesn't enjoy the chores, should they even be in the hobby?

This was AWESOME. I've been keeping fish for many many years but I'm ALWAYS willing to see how someone else does it! Shutting down a tank is a hugely important thing to know something about! I recently had a 55 Gallon column tank (don't get one, trust me) fail -- I bought it used -- and I had to do a 911 EVAC to get everyone out before the seam completely failed. My mistake: not leaving enough water at the bottom to catch fish. I drained it down way to far. Fish were banging into the walls trying to avoid the net. It was brutal. I lost a fair amount of fish because of my careless mistake.

Love these kinda videos. The kinda day to day videos. Even though I’m a member I still watch everything you put out. This gives me the encouragement to keep pushing with all my tanks. I got myself into breeding African cichlids and it really just started to dislike the hobby. But I’m getting ready to switch things up and get back to what I love doing the most.
