It is sad that our Media, both print and TV, have never warned this nation that we were fast approaching third world status when it comes to energy. To stop using cleaner burning NZ coal and Importing dirty burning Indonesian coal is a height of madness that has the Greens footprints all over it. And the closing of Marsden Point should be deemed a Criminal Act and Charges Laid.

Release the water and seabed back to all Kiwis. You know full well how it works, he who controls the water has control over everything. Stop playing us for fools. Be transparent, there is substantial gain in these negotiations for Maori because they are the controlling factor. @mountainviews46 Yes 👍 hydro delivers about that but if you have low periods of rain fall over a few years that could make things interesting solar panels and wind turbines are not recyclable and are toxic and poinous to the environment if buried these will leach you cant grow anything and will end up in the water table possibly bottom line is is that the real world science data over Co2 has been corrupted to look like its the Villian there are lots of factors involved and the biggest one is the malankovich cycles and the sun 🌞 this cycle is very slow we are coming out of a little ice age and now we have a small amount of warming which is good, the planet has green hugely with this crops are growing well in deserts etc showed by satalights fact so the whole argument is flawed to begin with the models are hyperinflated they don't include the negative feed back loops, the planet will always correct itself its been around for billions of years and has been through alot worse than the predicted 1.5 degrees we need to spend money on resistance for natural disaster, weather events.

So why are Maori blocking our hydro generation consents, we have 3 consents on private land being blocked right now. No dams required, just a side intake and outlet. Also blocking renewal of existing hydro consents and calming existing hydro plants. They have signed there own hydro consent ,on there own so called historic site . (It passed consenting in one month ) not the three years it has taken us so far. These are facts that are kept out of sight of the general public. What are your thoughts?

@@normankeoghan5298 U.Ns 2030 Sustainable Development Goals sounds harmless but in reality very destructive on the General Public etc He who controls the Water and Food supply and distributions there of Controls the people end of story if you own the land etc I would just do it anyway. The Govt over the last 8 years have not proven themselves to be trustworthy and do not have its citizens best interests at heart and It will basically come down to individuals and their communitys to take care of their own well being because things are getting very serious overseas and I wouldn't be sitting back and expect the govt to come to the rescue in that regard, I think alot of people are waking up and have realized during covid just what the govts agendas are its just one big club and we ain't in it. ✌

I don’t know if many citizens realise that natural gas is an essential, economic and convenient fuel for heating and cooking in our detention centres and correctional units.Natural gas line runs right past HB Regional Prison and this is the logical, indigenous fuel to power such facilities one being security of supply. No power cables need to be relied upon.Throughout the North Island chefs in our tourist restaurants and hotels prefer gas for its superior characteristics to cater for discerning international guests-those that drop money and keep the economy going.Gross energy has to come from somewhere.
