    I like both, but Cicalfate is my all time favorite. It's extremely soothing.

    Both are staples. I always have both in my bathroom, especially in snowy winter months

      Anything closer to avene? One that does not contain mineral oil? (Allergy)

      @@lunastella2323hi. I can recommend the soon jung 5- panthenososside balm. It's probably less potent than the balms in the video when it comes to ingredients. It has a high concentration of panthenol, which promotes healing. I'm unsure about the concentration of madecassoside in this product, but these two actives usually calm down my skin pretty well)
      Also a huge plus for me is that this balm doesn't rub off and actually stays on my face throughout the night. Gotta warn you, it's due to a less emollient consistency, mb the 10-panthenososside balm will feel richer, but I haven't tried it
      Hope this helps

    The LRP Cicaplast Baume is one of my holy grails. It never fails to calm my irritated skin during winter or if I've overdone it with actives

    Cicalfate is like magic as a spot treatment for any irritated patches of skin on me - bug bites, breakouts, dry patches, you name it. I would recommend it more for that than an all over moisturizer, but it is a staple for me now!

    Cicalfate easily! Cicaplast gave me contact dermatitis. I don’t find cicalfate particularly hydrating, but it’s great as a way less greasy alternative to slugging or to use when I’m dealing with contact dermatitis. I recently bought a travel sized version of it for a contact dermatitis I developed on my face from using the Cerave hydrating cleanser. It fixed the irritation almost instantly and let my skin calm down to a point where I could continue using my normal products that would burn and sting.

    Lrp's texture is so smooth once it spreads and absorbs onto the skin but it had some form of zinc in it and that i think got me getting small tiny breakouts. Sadly 😐.

    I tried the Avene twice and in both tubes the product had separated so I ended up with straight up liquid coming out the first few uses. It made me wonder if the remaining formula was affected. Anyone else experience this?

    • @GetWellSoonR.E.M.
      @GetWellSoonR.E.M. 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It can happen during the shipping process. It’s not a very temperature stable formula, unfortunately. I find it helps to warm it up in warm, not hot, water for 10 minutes. Then massage the tube in your hands for 5 more minutes. After that, let it cool then try again. It should be a creamy texture.

    • @KellyDriscoll

      It's not really a moisturizer but more like a spot treatment cream, a lot of people use it all over as a moisturizer but technically that's not what it's meant to be used as!
