  • Hi Everyone!
    Today we're installing a double din radio in a 2015 Fiat 500 Sport. We used the Pioneer MVH-1400NEX and also installed a backup camera. The final results are incredible, and we've broken down our process step by step so you can see how we did it. The final installation has full steering wheel control integration thanks to the idatalink maestro RR2 which is huge!
    Please leave us a comment if you have any questions and we'll do our best to respond. Our next video will be about the features of this stereo, so make sure you are subscribed to our channel so you don't miss that.
    Side note: This video is only meant to show you our process and we are not suggesting you should attempt this on your own. Please do not attempt this if you do not have any experience with these kinds of installations. You need to have some wiring experience in order to do this successfully. Please be safe and smart and when in doubt, consult a professional.

      @@digammasolutions bummer! I have the same question!!! How did you route your wires? I'm about to do the same and I'm trying to sort this part out, do I follow above the window/door then down the pillar or do I take it down to the floor then follow along the bottom/inside of the door then up/out near the odb port? Thanks!!!! Also, any tips or 'need to know' to connect to the RR2?

    • @digammasolutions
      @digammasolutions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Nissim, we've just updated the description with a link to an OBDII splitter like the one we used. Yes, if you use the idatalink maestro rr2, you can retain blue & me, we just didn't want that, but it's definitely an option. Let us know if you have any more questions.

    What is the OBDII for? If my Fiat has no steering wheel controls and I’m not using de Maestro, do I still need the OBDII?

    • @digammasolutions
      @digammasolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! The OBDII will help you scan/erase codes, will let you see rpm, tpms, and some more CAN data. If you don't have steering wheel controls you don't need the Maestro. You can check more about the Maestro here www.idatalinkmaestro.com
