In regards to your "Heraldry should be simple" point, my old man told me why he chose a very, very basic indicator for making sure his round baler was centered on a swath of cut hay (so it didn't turn out lopsided) rather than the much more versatile "Bale command unit" with all kinds of settings, screens and indicator lights to give a lot of information as to the status of the baler and the hay. He said "If you have more complexity in something, that means there's more to go wrong". And that applies to a lot of things, actually.
Sometimes I'll be watching someone else's video from a nerf event and I'll hear shouting in the background "Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers..." and it never stops being cool because I know you in there somewhere either in battle or getting ready for one.
Man I wish there was a group in a club where I lived I can join and get patches. I really appreciated the info to thank you Captain Xavier I love medieval information like that. I want to start my own group but I don't know even the game types / variations, or how many people are even required as a minimum, to do in hvz or other things

My heraldry for LARP is a enfield with a rose in its mouth in black over an orange background. It has several sneaky political references for modern day. For example the rose is a symbol of resistance and is fitting as my character is a revolutionary. My LARP friends have also agreed to join the crew auxiliary, the swords of the Novis Cohortem is yours to command!!! So I suppose that makes me a squad leader and low ranking officer, correct me if I’m wrong. Btw anyone who’s a minor (it’s a youth group) is welcome to join the Novis Cohortem for during crew auxiliary events!
I have an idea for the Auxiliary. Why not have an inverted patch colorization (ie: the 2 triangles be black on a white, silver, gold, copper, orange, or yellow background) to be a shadow/stealth squad?

I had an idea for a direct plunger power stock with a extended polycarbonate extended plunger rod going out the stock cap on clip system blasters so a k26 taking like alpha trooper. So do you have some feedback?

Did the wolf skull with the Aux anti-glass become an official symbol? Also, Jean is in Nova-Scotia, though he mentioned familial ties to Quebec if I remember correctly.

I thought of it because the triangles in the Aux logo are the reverse hourglass, which switched to anti-hourglass, which was shortened to anti-glass (all in the course of a few seconds because my brain makes weird connections and has fun with phonetics). I also have the 5280 Ferals patch inbound along with a handle patch from Jean. I'll be sure to post a picture of them on the Aux Facebook when they arrive. Currently, my vest doesn't have velcro on the fromt top right, but my mag pouches have some. Would it work to have a handle patch across the mag pouches? That would place it around lower-mid sternum in front of everything else.

I just know that the facebook and discord servers got rebranded and the feel changed a lot but i still have my dogtags, my aux callsign patch and my bangarang patch but wanted one of those shield shaped aux patches for my gear and jean is going to be away for a while so not sure when hes going to get back to it.
Yeah, the public facing side has been done away with. It was a bad idea from the get go (a fact I realized far too late). So it has gone back to being mostly a private affair. I put out a Call To Arms whenever I attend an event that I need Auxiliary at and it goes from there.
@@CaptainXavier are there plans to make private/invite only online groups for those interested or is that also considered public facing? no worries either way but i figure that may be a good place to network for things like patches or those still looking for the militia style format.

Trench fighter is Grabenkämpfer in german. Krieger is translated to warrior in english.
