    Kirby's ideas are so far ahead of everybody else. The man was a storytelling genius.

    Thor #156 was the first issue I bought; the first FF for me was #75. Kirby was at the peak of his powers and a big reason that now as a 65 year old I am still a comic book fan.

    I've always wondered how the Recorder is able to get to Asgard from Rigel. It has a very Peter Pan quality to it "second star on the right and straight on til morning" or he's so technologically advanced that he's able to access the magical kingdom of Asgard, which itself operates on Clarke's Third Law, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
