Darren, I watch EVERY video, but you're wrong about No Time for Sergeants. The best movie with Andy Griffith is A Face in the Crowd. That minimal criticism aside, great list.
DVD I had a feeling you were going Black Dynamite #1 My son got me and my wife to watch it a few yrs ago. One of the funniest movies I have seen and I have seen quite a few
Great list. Most of your audience, unless they are real film buffs like we are, do not know the Blacksplotation Era or how really important it was in the 1970s. To see all its tropes lampooned in both "I’m Gonna Git You Sucka" and "Black Dynamite" (and Undercover Brother), and done well, is hysterical.
Black Dynamite!!😂🎉 I actually ran into MJW and his wife Gillian at a starbucks on my way back from Palm Springs 6 months ago, I was friends w her back in the LA day. Great list DVD and they would be my #1 also
When i was a kid in the 70s growing up in Brazil there were a ton of great western/comedies in Italian/English featuring Terence Hill, similar to Fistful of Dynamite. Went to the theatre all the time to see them.
Speaking of changing up your recommendation list…I am always looking for good movies to watch with my young kids. Sometimes you throw a family friendly film in your lists (and those have been great), I would love to see a list that focuses on that genre.
Darren, you are by far the best at what you do and my wife and I both watch many of your recommendations. I might suggest you consider making sure your picture is on the thumbnail of all of your videos because I find I often miss them if I'm not paying too close attention . Your brand is strong and important and you need to be sure and create either a logo or use your image to help people identify your wonderful videos. Thanks so much for the work that you do.
Dave Made a Maze is wild!!! Not at all what I expected. Talk about going down a rabbit hole! It was definitely a great deal of fun. P.S. Kirsten Vangsness being in it, even briefly, is a bonus!
I saw "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" when it was out in the theaters. I was about 12 years old. This film and "Black Dynamite" are a couple of faves. I'm definitely going to watch them. Once again, great list!!! 👍🏼 *I'm also to check out "Hundreds of Beavers" and "Bandidas". 😊
Thank you Darren van damn for this wonderful video of great recommendation videosand I always like your type of movies.I'm glad you mentioned him a Van.Damn flick, we're a loved video by you.Something like that and they're usually good thanks , man keep more videos like this truly appreciate you for doing what you do 🤜🤛
The character in Housebound, Kylie, isn't in a house of strangers. It is her mom and her step-dad that she is put on house arrest with. It is said at the beginning of the movie that she is with her mom and even states it throughout that it is her childhood home. It is one of my favorite movies. Every time I hear someone's Motorola phone ring, in real life, with "Hello Moto" I think of this movie.
Black Dynamite is great, but in the honorable mentions, Goon with Sean William Scott is so good. Any sports movie fan should get a kick out of that one
Black Dynamite is an absolute must see! Anaconda Malt Liquor, First Lady Pat Nixon busting some awesome kung fu moves, and this exchange between the Pam Grier look-alike and White: "You must be one of those brothers who thinks he can get anything with a wink and a smile." White, stone-faced: *wink* "Where's my smile?" White: "I am smiling." See it, you'll love it!
DVD could recommend different phone books, and I would find them interesting. Not to say his lists are not good, because they are. I am saying his presentation is so engaging.
I remember seeing No Time For Sargent's when I was pretty young. Absolutely fell in love with it. There isn't a scene in that movie that doesn't crack me up.
~ Two Other Films I would *Immediately* Add to such a themed list that (as of this post) seems to be on Tubi; The Brothers Bloom and The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet. - Bloom Brothers is a Quirky, Charming, Whimsical Crime Caper Flick. Unique, Eclectic, Whimsical, and Winky. One of the Prettiest Endings in Cinema History, too. - TS Spivet tells of the adventures of a boy.. ...who wants and wishes to spread his wings.. . Also Stars the Always (Re)Watchable Helena Bonham Carter.

I don't care about
What you got a problem with me I'll kick you ass leave me alone
Darren, I watch EVERY video, but you're wrong about No Time for Sergeants. The best movie with Andy Griffith is A Face in the Crowd. That minimal criticism aside, great list.
Gotta recommend Black Sheep as a crazy, hilarious Halloween flick!
“Dave Made a Maze” is my all time pick you’ve ever turned me on to…putting it my back on my Prime queue!
Speaking for myself of course. Absolutely love this list!
Love this content! In my top 10 list of all-time favorite channels.
Great FLICK CONNECTION Darren. I especially love Fistfull of Dynamite. Many thanks for sharing with us, much appreciated 🫶🫶🫶
DVD I had a feeling you were going Black Dynamite #1 My son got me and my wife to watch it a few yrs ago. One of the funniest movies I have seen and I have seen quite a few
The Greatest List you've ever done! I've watched for years too. You should make more of these!
FUN LIST!!! MAKE MORE PLEASE!
Excellent list!! Definitely need more lists of fun films
Black Dynamite!!😂🎉 I actually ran into MJW and his wife Gillian at a starbucks on my way back from Palm Springs 6 months ago, I was friends w her back in the LA day. Great list DVD and they would be my #1 also
This is one of your best offerings lately, Thank You!
This might be my favorite list you've created. Odd that most are on Tubi, since I pay for Prime, Netflix, etc. lol
Black Dynamite is one of the most quotable movies ever.
"Sarcastically, I'm in charge."🤣🤣🤣
Thanks DvD, movies for this weekend's viewing!
I LOVE Matchstick Men! Was on honorable mentions, but still a really good movie
When i was a kid in the 70s growing up in Brazil there were a ton of great western/comedies in Italian/English featuring Terence Hill, similar to Fistful of Dynamite. Went to the theatre all the time to see them.
Damn man, you hit the itch almost every call! I usually watch average 1.5 of your pics. Mostly because I've seen them. Nice bro!
Happy birthday for next week, Darren. Thanks for all the great content.
Speaking of changing up your recommendation list…I am always looking for good movies to watch with my young kids. Sometimes you throw a family friendly film in your lists (and those have been great), I would love to see a list that focuses on that genre.
This is a great idea!!
Fun list! This is a nice change. More would be fun
Darren, you are by far the best at what you do and my wife and I both watch many of your recommendations.

This!
Dave Made a Maze is a great recommendation!
Another EXCELLENT list, thank you.
100% agree, Black Dynamite RULES!!!
Duck You Sucker is absolutely amazing. A very deep movie… ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Best list I have seen from you that fits my interests.
Thanks for another great list! Check out the Tubi original Cinnamon. Nobody talks about it and I was pleasantly surprised.
'No Time for Sergeants', great choice. I love seeing some of the old movies getting some love.
I remember seeing the "No time for Sargeants" TV series in the 1960's.
Dave Made a Maze is wild!!! Not at all what I expected. Talk about going down a rabbit hole! It was definitely a great deal of fun.
P.S. Kirsten Vangsness being in it, even briefly, is a bonus!
I have not seen Black Dynamite. Thanks for the recommend!
100's of Beavers looks cool.
bandidas is a blast... two of the hottest latina actresses, in a fun, action packed role. its pure popcorn sat nite gold..
Andy Griffin and Nick Adam’s are hilarious together!
I'll keep watching as long as you keep making them!
Thank you for the recommendations
I've loved " I’m Gonna Git You Sucka" since I saw it in a theater in '88. It is a great sendup of the Blacksploitation films I grew up with .
SAME! I was a junior in high school and how they let me in to see it I will never know.
Jfess1911. Got change for $100
Been a long time since I saw it(over 20+ years)
The one thing that sticks in my mind is the platform shoes with goldfish in em 🤣
Great list! Thanks
I saw "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" when it was out in the theaters. I was about 12 years old. This film and "Black Dynamite" are a couple of faves. I'm definitely going to watch them. Once again, great list!!! 👍🏼
*I'm also to check out "Hundreds of Beavers" and "Bandidas". 😊
Check out Eddie Murphy in "My name is Dolamite" , a great movie in the genre.
Just watched Housebound! Best free movie I’ve seen in ages. Do not miss! Thanks for telling us about it!
Does it include violence? I hate violence and sensitive stuff 😢😢
@ it does.
I LOVED Hundreds Of Beavers.... lmao
Yes, more fun. We need more laughter right now
If you like old Andy Griffith, find A Face In the Crowd. He plays an absolutely a horrible person. Walter Mathow is in it as well. Love your channel.
This was a great character study and I was really surprised watching Griffith not just playing that role, but doing it so well.
The "Beavers" movie seems to spoof some famous bits form old movies, such as "Modern Times" and "The General."
Thank you Darren van damn for this wonderful video of great recommendation videosand I always like your type of movies.I'm glad you mentioned him a Van.Damn flick, we're a loved video by you.Something like that and they're usually good thanks , man keep more videos like this truly appreciate you for doing what you do 🤜🤛
For fun movies check out the old Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee Hammer films. Fun, style, and great sets.
Thanks Darren !!
Producing this list now is very timely for me because I'm All Out of Bubblegum.
The character in Housebound, Kylie, isn't in a house of strangers. It is her mom and her step-dad that she is put on house arrest with. It is said at the beginning of the movie that she is with her mom and even states it throughout that it is her childhood home. It is one of my favorite movies. Came here to make sure someone pointed this out, lol. Nice to see I'm not alone in placing Housebound on my favorites list! Super slept on
Can't believe anyone think Keenan is the funniest of the family. Damon is one of the GOATs
Nice Job Again .. An HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHEERS
Black Dynamite is great, but in the honorable mentions, Goon with Sean William Scott is so good. Any sports movie fan should get a kick out of that one
Happy Birthday 🎂🎂🎂
Dave Made a Maze is a must see. Housebound is gonna go on my watch list. This one is new to me.
I haven’t thought about Black Dynamite in a while lol. I loved it
I'm Gonna Git You Sucka was a favorite of mine and my friends in college. We could (and probably still can) quote the entire movie!
5 minutes in:
Thank you so much for the full frontal Norm MacDonald!
NTFS is pure quality!! I've been watching that since I was a little kid. One of my late grandfather's favorite movies too.
Not sure if you've ever seen it but since you're from the South as I am, The Andy Griffith show is a must watch for comedy.
I like " Grindhouse" by R. Rodriguez, I miss movies like that.
you do a great job. thank you
I saw Dave Made a Maze a few years ago. The premise was silly, but the movie was a lot of fun.
Love you man! Keep it going!
thanks
Gold is a BRILLIANT film, top recommendation.
Gomer Pyle was a spin-off from The Andy Griffith show and the character was based on No Time For Sergeant.
I am glad to see a list from you that, for once, is not crime, fighting, anime or horror. Please do some which are about inspiration and heroism.
Black Dynamite is an absolute must see! Anaconda Malt Liquor, First Lady Pat Nixon busting some awesome kung fu moves, and this exchange between the Pam Grier look-alike and White:
"You must be one of those brothers who thinks he can get anything with a wink and a smile."
White, stone-faced: *wink*
"Where's my smile?"
White: "I am smiling."
See it, you'll love it!
DVD could recommend different phone books, and I would find them interesting. Not to say his lists are not good, because they are. I am saying his presentation is so engaging.
Black Dynamite is one of my favorite comedies. I laugh every time I watch it. “But Black Dynamite, I sell drugs to the community “😂
I remember seeing No Time For Sargent's when I was pretty young. Absolutely fell in love with it. There isn't a scene in that movie that doesn't crack me up.
...the latrine salute...
Take me home tonight is such a fun movie. Very underrated!
I’ve seen Black Dynamite a thousand times. Have it on DVD.
Hundreds of Beavers is a top tier movie! I loved it.
I like Tubi, I never noticed the lower quality, and the ads don't bother me, lots of free movies there.
never heard of "Black Dynamite".. but its right up my alley, as i loved "Im gonna git you sucka" when it came out..
Black Dynamite is the bomb
For some silly reason I have always liked Fletch, Real Genius and Weekend at Bernies. Totally stupid and sarcastic but always a good watch.
"Duck, You Sucker" is better knows as "A Fistfull of Dynamite". Great movie.
Gold is definitely fun
Take Me Home Tonight, why they don't make feel good movies like this anymore is beyond me, if your a child of the 80s you will love this.
Super Thanks for this, always looking for fun happy content to enjoy laughing. Please do more.
I'M GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA is one of the best Comedies of all time.
Black dynamite is one of the best movies ever! I love getting baked and putting it on lol
Dave made a maze is my favorite movie to recommend
Pimp of the year walking on goldfish shoes 😂
Without even looking, I knew your number 1 would be Black Dynamite.
THANKS
Speaking of odd westerns, I'm sure you've seen the Trinity series, yes? Thoughts?!
Dave made a maze is sooo good! (Minus Dave's dumb reasoning)
Banditas .... A+++ !
Love it!
Housebound is awesome!
I just thought it was because I usually watched older stuff but its good to know that tubi only runs in 720p...
Black Dynamite is Hilarious. Please tell me you've also watched the animated series? Also top tier adult comedy!!
I thought the grocery aisle clip was from _Paycheck,_ but that's not coming up on Tubi. From what _is_ that clip...?
Thx
Got to put Midnight Madness on a list
I like the likeliness that you will make more likable videos that i like by liking this video!👍
