The kit and antenna adapter is fine but you need to get a module not the harness from metra

Good afternoon one if I want to remove the screen from above, because I found an Android radio that fits perfectly above could I use those same cables to connect the camera, oh the camera only works if it is connected to the original unit?

Yes, we did use factory mount. You must reconnect factory radio and set all controls, and then the settings will remain on the top until the car battery is disconnected

can use just a wire to test the signals?

Good question. The reason that you don't want to use a wire is that some wires have power and digital signals .If you use a wire to ground, it will damage the power or unit itself
