I always loved this song! I even got the 45. My brother on the other hand, would walk by my room and mumble cheezy a** song. LOL. I still love it at age 60!
I love this song, it was my theme way back when and I did make it. I still play this song. At work over the years we played Makin' It at our meetings. The youth today are missing out hearing positive messages and encouragement.
My cousin was a coke dealer in Manhattan Beach before drugs got violent and associated with crime and murders. It was a brief period. I spent asummer of 1979 with him at a condo on the beach, playing volleyball, raquetball, with songs like this, and topless girls and coke parties all sumer when I was 12! It was the best summer of my life, it could have been a Neil Simon play. I would get up to have cornflakes and find two topless girls in bikini bottoms in the kitchen having breakfast. Girls rollerskating on the wide sidewalk and asking me to come back to their apartment to smoke weed. Songs like this bring me back to that summer, which should never have ended.
I’m 45 and this song is my fave. I had CABGX3 on December 14th. So this song gives a whole new meaning to making it! Born in 1978, sure I heard this as an infant. ☺️
Get down and boogie to , The tv show, Making it, 1978 with David Naughton They don't make Disco Dance music shows like they did back then, Long live the music and Disco, dancing, For over 45 years, Making it,Richard and Paula Dodds. 😂😂😂❤❤♥️
I am pretty sure his Werewolf role was the first to truly show the transformation from start to finish from a human into a werewolf. Previously the transformation was done by fading out the human and fading in the werewolf...but in this case the whole transformation was in "real" time (real time on celluloid not in real life).
It’s David’s best profile as well as his only song awesome beautiful perfect for Disco🎶🎶🎶👍
My clubbing days song 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Greatest dance song ever

He made a good werewolf.
One of my all time favorites. Good werewolf movies are hard find.
The American kind 😂
1978 I had just graduated from High School, and was on my way to Parris Island.....
Fresh out of high school and started college in 78 and I wore this 45 out!!! It was everybody's favorite!😋
Curtis I have the same story. Right out HS than college in 78. I have the disco version on 33. Never get tired of it.

everyone has a favorite guilty pleasure of the Disco era this one is mine and not ashamed to say it either
He is a good singer and actor with good looks.
David Naughton also co-starred in the comedy series, "My Sister Sam", in the late 1980's, on CBS.
