    I cry every time I reminiscence about the 70's. People that are no longer here, family/ friends and the awesome great times we had. I wish I could go back and see them again. This is as close as I ever get.

      I understand you, friend. Its not that that this time doesn't have promise, or that the past was a necessarily better, but I was a kid back then, still mostly oblivious that friends and family are lost as the years go by, and that some great experiences can be had once and only once.

    • @thecollectorcasanova5537
      @thecollectorcasanova5537 2 ปีที่แล้ว +90

      Disco done right is one of the classiest and even musically intricate genres out there. Everyone discounts it for cheesy lyrics and boring repetitive production.
      Not the case. Especially on songs like this with full bands and sexy, seductive vocals ❤️‍🔥
      Clocking in at 3min, 11s this gorgeous track is far too short! I could easily listen to a 6-10min version. Probably a 12" vinyl release that did just that. Which is another great gift from the age of Disco... the 12" single! With extended, instrumental, dub, and a cappella tracks to cut remixes on the fly!
      Always wish I could've been alive during this age... maybe one day they'll build a time machine!!

    I was a kid skating to this in skate clubs for kids, I mean like 12 year olds. This song was no small hit, it was a major landmark of disco. I just today finally saw the video. How odd. I also had no idea she was a film star. Who the F got her into this great song. Wild stuff. I'm not surprised this never made it to regular tv, at least not when I saw it.

      Same here. About her being an adult film actress.
      This song is BOMB!
      But I never took a close look at the music video until a few days ago, at which point I was confused and thought WTF!!! She looks fine. She's beautiful. So why is she making moves and faces that make her look like a total DOG?
      I Google her.
      She was an adult entertainer.

    Great tune! Probably ONE of the MOST identifiable and iconic songs to represent the disco era imo. I still get a kick out of snare drum mis-hit at 1:26. I guess back in those days they just left that stuff in… gives it more uniqueness I feel!

      I always anticipate that part too. Almost seems like he was going for the tom judging by what was done a couple of bars before.

      Yeah or it got caught within his shirt cuff..sometimes that happens. I love that they made a whole new song out of those 3 bars after the bridge/instrumental at 2:26

    From orgasmic to eargasmic. The visuals of her combined with the sexy voice and groovy melody and also recalling at the same time seeing some of her "birthday suit" scenes from the 1970s just make it all much better.

      @@rayva1 Especially from the adult industry. As much as it’s big like Hollywood, it’s taboo industry and people in it, can never really come into main stream cinema. There are a few exceptions like these though !
