Been looking for something like this! Thanks !
Thanks for watching it bud!
Great presentation. I have cox cabel and currently three apple extreme routers. I believe they reun Wifi 5. But i want to upgrade at least one router which is directly connected to a surfboard model. Would the EERo work as the main router and then the other Apple routers can act as nodes or repeaters? Thx.
I have a Eero setup and i hate it. It's so limited and dumbed down, there is almost nothing you can configure on it.
Thanks for the video. No link for the Deco? Anyhoo, nice and too the point info. :)
It’s in the description. Says TP Link
So happy I didn't just invest in Wi-Fi 6.... man, I need to upgrade 😊
Wait, so you have a 2gb up and down plan but you are only getting 1gb down? Am I missing something??? I don’t know much about networking so please excuse my ignorance.
Depends on his setup and installation.
Must be shit, my network provider gives 8gig up and down and you can get at least 4.5gb with an s24 ultra in wifi 7. 1gb is wifi 5 802.11ac speed not even wifi 6 @@uwhat1
@@MainInternetUser what router do you use?
@@MainInternetUsernot necessarily shit, but a lot of people buy expensive mesh system like the Orbi 800 series and use the backhaul which because all the lan ports are only 1gig. Nothing gets over 1 gb unless it’s on wifi…… that’s the shit part
Good video are these devices just plug and play or do you need to tweak anything for max speed and range
Just plug and play thankfully
Question for you just came across your video really good by the way about the TP link deco be95 is that extra 6 GHz band used for wireless backhauling only or are we able to use both 6 GHz band for client base
Good and very informative video, I have a old google mesh I need an upgrade so many out there to choose from 👍
I wouldn't recommend spending 500 bucks or more on a wifi 7 router. Wifi 7 isn't even on most consumer devices yet....except phones and some tablets. Your PC can't even take advantage of wifi 7. Your doorbell sure as hell can't. So why spend the Ludacris amount they're asking.
I love this! The only thing is, is that I only have 700mps Verizon. Would purchasing an eero make my speed faster?
If you are already maxing out on your devices at the places you are using them then now not really, where it might help is when you have a wifi 7 device and are further from the router or in a place where signal strength isn't the best. wifi 7 allows for multiple channel connection possibly offering substantial gains in those areas.
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. Have an excellent weekend. @@kjyu
Absolutely great and needed video, especially since this is the year of WiFi7 ratification and more WiFi7 will be emerging onto the market. I guess I’m also a bit partial, given I’m using two eero Max 7’s and a pro 6E CAT7 hardwired for 10/2.5GB backhaul.
Thank you!
I just want the latency reduction
Your upload speed is crazy fast but it is of no use because youtube only supports upload speed of 1 gbps and it is also true for other platforms too. The only way to take advantage of this speed is multiple people downloading and uploading data at the same time, which is unlikely for most people
I could see good benefit for a home server or remotely connecting to a home PC. But those are highly technical cases.
Do you have any recomendations for any of the same Modem /Routers / + 2 Telephony ports
You don't have the 2 grand plus ridiculous Orbi 970. All three options are more than fast enough though.
Is 5.8ghz considered 6ghz im confused seeing triband routers not mentioning 6ghz but say 5ghz 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz
Does all these WiFi devices need a subscription?
is the Eero Max 7 computable with fiber optics?
@gluko: Yes it is! I have it n it’s great.
im using only optics for about a decade already but none of these modern fancy routers can support it!
Can you compare the Eero max 7 to the UniFi Dream Wall?
Can You Use eero with a gateway and is it worth it ?
I was waiting for the bloopers at the end but then I remembered you were at home lol, Nice video, interesting that wifi 7 was announced like yesterday and many devices are getting it already
Ha thank you Chemy!
Looking forward to wifi 7!
Thanks for watching this!
Wifi 4 was the best 😂
I dunno if TP-link deco BE95's spec sheet is wrong or that TP-link deco XE200 has better streams, antenna, and mu-mimo than it and that it's (BE95) 2.4Ghz is not 802.11be but only a 802.11ax.. and it is too expenaive given those reasons
EERO is extremely expensive
Eero 7 is over $500 for 1 hub…
Yeah but it's cheaper than other options and faster than cheaper ones, it sits in the middle.
@@marksapolloit’s in sale now!
7 😮😮 i dont even have 6 yet 😢😢
Wifi 7 already 😮😱😱😱
It's great though lol
no orbi mentioned? yea
Orbi price is getting out of control!
It’s useless when you have a single slow device that does not have wifi 7 capability. Until they discover a technology that will utilize the upgrade regardless of your device, then it’s all a rich man’s game.
So is wifi 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, etc. if you have a slow device that doesn't support those. Was there a point to this?
It's called future proof.
@@solacedagony1234he was criticizing the current value proposition.
I have wifi6 and it goes fast. My regular wifi box was so slow @@solacedagony1234
I just bought a Arris S33 and Tp link Deco XE75 Pro and I’m impressed with the wireless speed.
So if I buy the eero I don't have to use cable internet from my local internet provider?
I hope you were able to send all those routers back after you tested them!
I donated some of them to people who needed them and sent some back to the manufacturers 🙏
@@TheUnlockr well done👍🏽
The Title should have been "Routers for Rich people"
How does this type of device work when i got a router from my internet provider
Depends on your provider and router, but most combo units from your ISP will have something like a "passthrough mode" you can enable that will basically turn off it's routing capabilities and make it be just a modem. Then you'd go from that to one of these routers for your wifi.
@@Brakarei i see and the idea is that would provide better wifi?
@@Mr.WitnessIt's always better to use your own Wi-Fi router instead of the default garbage that your ISP gives you.
You have full control of how your network is configured when you use your own.
Wi-Fi itself has a lot of variables that determine what performance you'll get.
2gbit up? geeez man. nice flex
😂
all of these are above the 600$ mark, wtf, anything affordable man?
Might have to wait a year or two for affordability
Be7000 on AliExpress 130 USD . Unsure tho because it says triband but 5.8ghz is mentioned but not 6ghz
Just get wifi 6 for $200
@@WitchLuw tend has a nice wifi 6e router for 100 bucks with 6ghz WiFi.
