Great job! Appreciate your resourcefulness, as well as your honesty on what went right and what went wrong as you went along. Well done, brother. Jeep on!🖐🏼
As soon as I saw your hat at the beginning, I subbed! I know you’re a good man because we share the faith and are fellow Jeepers. I’m figuring out what I’m going to do with the back of my JK. I want to be able to sleep back there too.
Nicely done. I was thinking of making it with slide out rails for easier access. Maybe a slide out table as well. If you had a 3" gap on the bottom you could slide a folding table. Just some ideas
LOL! I'm laughing because check my channel. I actual got rid of this system last year and built a whole new one with drawers and such. Take a look at the new build. It was done in 4 parts.
@@santiago71Q oh no you're good!! I actually like that this video is still being watched. Lol. That being said I wrote that because i agreed with your comment 100% which is why I did a whole new overhaul hahaha
Thanks for sharing man. Very nicely done and clean looking. There are so many genius Jeep owners that can come up with these cool ideas. I may to have steal part of your plan on mine as well, definitely the magnet piece:)
Great build, couple quick questions: 1. Would you be able to lock the box? 2. How would this hold up if it got wet? 3. Would there be a way to make it waterproof, I would be worried that the wood would warp if it got wet. TIA
Great idea and I like your delivery. It gets to the point without a bunch of filler. Awesome how attention to detail you are. What size and model are the Pelican Cases that you used?
I actually had mine in there for awhile :) but it kept slipping and sliding. I put the strap in there as well but then it was so narrow that it was hard to wrap the strap around the extinguisher. I don’t want to have to fiddle with it in emergency situations
I do but it's awkward because of the levels on it. That's why I built a new system that utilizes the room a lot more. You can see that build on my channel
Not too bad. It IS a bit heavy (I'm guessing maybe 30 lbs??) so keep that in consideration but I found that a lot of stuff people are building to put in the back of their jeeps are just as heavy anyway. I know trunk drawers etc tend to be heavy also.
Yup that's how it starts, Ive build a DIY sleeper removing the back seat, dual battery set up then a power inverter, then a solar panel , small electric heater, fan, black out windows with insulation, roof rack with DIY rack for pioneer tools jerrycans and max tracks. You got the flu, ain't it fun?
Designed them and then used a vinyl laser cutter. If you don’t have one though you can design something and send it to a company that prints our car vinyl stickers. There’s tons out there like carstickers.com or even sticker mule
It’s held up great! It’s pretty snug in there. Inside the tool box though there’s a magnet strip to hold tools and it tends to pop off when I hit bumps so I’m going to have to remove that altogether
Very nicely done sir, enjoyed your video so much we subbed you as well. We recently added a Jeep to our channel as well. Like you looking for additional storage that wont kill the bank, I found your video. Keep up the great work looking forward to seeing more from your channel my friend. Dale
Normally yes. But where I live, there’s a lot of humidity in the air. 1/2 and 3/8 plywood tends to start warping after a few years so I made sure the outside was as rigid as I could get it. It’s held up fine. The interiors are 1/2 though
Great job. That turned out really well and your editing skills are far above my own. :) We look forward to checking out more of your projects and adventures. Check us out on fb and ig.
@@BaptismOverland I'm also Pinoy. DO you have the measurements for your drawer system. I don't have any power tools so I will need them precut at Home Depot.
@@anicetopontillas8121 for the new version? I’ll have to measure it. I don’t have it on hand anymore but the best thing is to just measure your cargo area yourself and see what you can fit and how you want it to fit
Old video. I actually have a new system now. But it's still wood and I haven't had any problems at all. It's been great. Coated with truck liner and haven't had any rotting. Is there a reason wood doesn't belong in a vehicle?
Love the content, but had to mute it. The music is TERRIBLE. The repetitive guitar plucking sounds like a car alarm going off, and made me wanna toss my phone. But the build was cool. So... yeah, thank you for the cool ideas!
fade out the music while you are talking. It is annoying. You have a lot of background noise from machinery too. What is that. Annoying! Does not sound like when noise which has a very low frequency on microphones.
Dimagio rp and so has the LC, I’ve owned a Jeep I liked it for some time but when it comes down to the maintenance my LC has proven superior Jeeps and land cruisers came out around the same time and have done equally as well over the year but lately I haven’t been impressed with jeeps, but hey if you want to talk about uneducated your the one that came out fighting saying a couldn’t afford one 🤙🏽
This man needs more views. I'm not even a jeep guy, but the videos are well put together.
And this video is super old! Lol

Realize this is an older vid but just discovered your channel and im going back and catching up. Really clean build!
you gave me an AWESOME idea for my Jeep. THANKS for sharing!
Really nice job. It has given me some ideas. Much appreciated.
this is the cleanest DIY storage i've seen. just earned yourself another sub my dude.
Thanks!
very clean and minimalist design, i love it! all the pullout drawers are nice untill you actually need the trunk!
EXACTLY why I built it this way. The jeep is a daily driver man...still need the trunk lol
Very very nice man. Also loved that you gave a detailed list. Very helpful
One of the best videos I’ve seen.
Brilliant job...well done mate

That’s bad A$$! I like the size u made. Very functional and easily removable. Cool touch with pelican boxes.
Came out looking really nice! Added to the modes list for my Jeep! Thanks for the great video!

Those Pelican cases 😍😍😍
Nice job!
This is a great system! Great work done here
Great job young man...building to your needs is a great option.
Great build! This is the best one I have seen yet. I checked out the commercial and other home made ones but this is my favorite so far.
Great idea. Nice video also
Nicely done video. You have given me some ideas for my own storage solutions. I love your hat.
Nice do it yourself build!
Very nice!
Sick work man. I'd love to see a video of the pelican case kits contents and what you keep in the box as well!
Yeah man will prob make videos of that when i get more gear to put in it!
Great build, couple quick questions: 1. Would you be able to lock the box? 2. How would this hold up if it got wet? 3. Would there be a way to make it waterproof, I would be worried that the wood would warp if it got wet. TIA
Mark Rogers Nailing a sheet of roofing tarpaper to all the sides or raptorlining the whole thing would it waterproof quite easily
great video bro
Great video.
Wonderful!
I wanted to do similar setup for my 2018 jk
Nice job with the build, great video!!👍
excellent build! I like the Pelican case accessibility.
Awesome build ❤️

Amazing video - keep this going boz
Would that center hole be big enough for a fire extinguisher?

NICE
What size pelican box did you use?
VERY NICE. LOOKS SHARP. NEW SUB
Do you have room for the freedom panels back there?
I do but it's awkward because of the levels on it. That's why I built a new system that utilizes the room a lot more. You can see that build on my channel
Very cool design! Approximately what is the weight of that bad boy?
Not too bad. It IS a bit heavy (I'm guessing maybe 30 lbs??) so keep that in consideration but I found that a lot of stuff people are building to put in the back of their jeeps are just as heavy anyway. I know trunk drawers etc tend to be heavy also.

Hey man thanks! I could possibly do it but the shipping might be a a hassle lol.
Great job and vid!!
very nice video ! U deserve more views !
awesome job!
That’s how I always cut my grooves, easiest way👍🏼
This is awesome!
Where did you get the “first aid” and “recovery“ stickers?
I do graphic design so I made them myself with my vinyl cutter :)

hey great job man, really like the pelican magnet thing.
Flip the wood cutting blade around to cut soft metal like that
Impressive...
Great build. Especially the Pelican cases. How does it hold up off road? Love the HE>i hat too. God bless

My cat's name is Samson and he enjoys rides in the Jeep
Hahaha dope!
Where did you find the magnets? I can't find them, it's frustrating lol
Ace hardware and even Lowe’s or Home Depot has them. There’s a whole rack of magnets
3/4" plywood is overkill, 1/2" or even 3/8" would work fine
Normally yes. But where I live, there’s a lot of humidity in the air. 1/2 and 3/8 plywood tends to start warping after a few years so I made sure the outside was as rigid as I could get it. It’s held up fine. The interiors are 1/2 though

A LOT of people do when mounting them. That’s what they’re made for.

Pro tip don’t buy a Jeep
Davonte Martin it’s ok bud not everyone can afford one
