  • I fit a board to the rear of my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU so I can fasten down my ARB Zero 47qt refrigerator. I intend to add further box units down the road of my build.
    Here is what I used:
    Tools:
    Drill, Jigsaw, mallet, screw drivers, sander, scissors and sharp knife
    Materials:
    3/4' Plywood - start with a board 44"x33"
    4x M6 55mm Hex head bolts (Preferably black)
    4x Fender washers (Black if possible)
    Black automotive carpet enough to fit the platform and extra to wrap over to the bottom side
    Heavy duty spray adhesive
    Enjoy the video and please comment with any great suggestions for future trips, reviews, walk-arounds or content you'd like to see me create.

    Glad I found your channel. I am in the process of working on my 2017 JKU and working on similar projects. I also bought a US M101A2 trailer last year and will be upgrading it soon. It is more similar to a US M1101 than an M416, just not as large and heavy.

      Sounds good man, let me know if you got any questions, I’ve done a bit of work on my Trailer. The Jeep is doing well since I put the platform in, hold the fridge in real solid. The open access has been perfect to store my tools too.

    i have a 2018 jko with 3 and quarter inch lift did you change your track bars and steering stabilizer and if you did did you find it made a differance?

    • @OTBT_Canada
      @OTBT_Canada  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not changed them yet, I’m on 2 1/2” lift and considering upgrading soon as the bigger wheels going to be harder on them. I bent my rear track bar in the summer and did a straight swap from a friends take offs. So I feel I need to beef it up a little

      Hi Derick, thanks for watching. You make a great point, I intended to make this a two part video. I will revisit this and record a review of how I installed my fridge slide and how my cargo platform has worked out. More to follow. Thanks again

    Had a hard time hearing you because of the background music. Background music SUCKS and it should never ever, under any circumstances be used in a video. There is no reason for it. Its bland, its repetitive and no one ever gets the volume levels correct. Background music just might be worse than music montages and music montages are the worst.
