Post ten I used to stay their with my parents when I was little around 1970. The barn had a couple of ponies for us kids to ride. Also that pet rock was part of a play gym out in that field. Just an old roadside motel. Each room was cozy blue and pink with a coffee pot on that table. The satellite was new. wounder when the old place closed?

I remember staying in a lot of $35 motels in the 70s and 80s during road trips as a kid. Grandma would insist on inspecting the room before we got any suitcases out of the car.
The Queen City Motel in Marquette, MI has room #16 which is in the stairs. It’s their emergency room. Smaller than those in this video. Just a single bed, a chair and TV, plus a tiny shower and toilet. Cost me $16 in 1987 to rent daily while taking the nursing boards. Who needs all that space if all you need is a place to sleep and wash up?
Interesting how they have HD DTV dishes are there. HD ones are more oval and SDs are fully round. HD DTV came out around 2010 if I’m not mistaken. So the dishes also kinda help with when it could of been abandoned.
As we say in the UK, the room is so small, when you turn out the light you can be in bed before it gets dark. The smell is so bad, even the barn swallows checked out early.
The best part for me was when Post10 focussed on the big poop... just as I took a bite of my sandwich. I decided to eat it after the video was over. LOL

While Ur Traveling.... Camping off grid is free & a YMCA has showers, pool, saunas, Jacuzzi, etc ./ Not sure about tuck stops in this day & age. But pink tubs....were the 40's era give or take..... I stayed in New Jersey a a Hunter's Lodge & it was cute & unique back in '2000-2001 & the retired owner said it was that old era in time.
cheapest motel i've ever been to was $40 a night 12 years ago, but that was a dump with filth and bugs! now anything decent is at least $70-80 around here anyway

This video just proves why all these abandoned places should "bulldozed and demolished". They are an eyesore and a danger to anyone in the community. Recycle what you can recycle like Aluminium Cans, Steel, Copper, Concrete and Wood. What wood can't be saved put through a wood chipper and destroy it. Far as the rest Demolish and plant some tree's and return the land to mother nature.👍👍👍👍

Hey there while you're traveling if you need a shower and a town has a gym you can get a one day membership for pretty cheap maybe like even $10.
