My randoms never fail to equip fidget spinner instead of satchel charge and try to perform a triple jump with dyna-jump instead of actually attacking
The stun gadget for dynamike is on the scale of lilys gadget, absolutely carrying the brawler
I don't think it would banish Dyna to the F tier if they made his gadget deal less damage to compensate for the stun

I'd like to add on a concept i like to call the Sunk Cost Fallacy Dynamike. The sunk cost fallacy is the idea in economics that dictates that a consumer will use a product to their fullest extent to justify using it. These dynamike players like to spam the dynajump for no particular reason particularly right after spawning. So instead of using it for its intended purpose, they just use it as much as possible to justify using the star power.

Dyna jump= skill
Demolition= 5% skill
Satchel charge= good but lower skill
Fidget spinner= bad and low skill
The last one is just an ultimate teaming tool
dyna jump is not skill it's showing off there are like 20 people in the world who can utilize this starpower properly

I do want to mention that fidget spinner's speed and damage actually make it a pretty good gadget, it's just that satchel charge is more consistent and more powerful

I think his stun gadget should allow the enemy to activate gadgets, that way you cant just stun and get a free kill, but still escape, and if the gadget is no use to protect you or break the stun, your dead, its also a fair trade, gadget for gadget
I think the stun gadget should either take more time to explode or do much less damage.
When my teammates use Dynamike, they hit one 1600 dmg circle 95% of the time. When my opponents play Dynamike, the overlapping 3200 dmg area seems to be the entirety of the map

Nah, he's stupid and bugged. Satchel charge stuns for way too long and each splinters from his hypercharge super charges 1/2 of his super instead of 1/4 like his main attack.

A gadget that's a free kill, a star power that allows him to one shot some brawlers, a super that can be recycled with like 2 hits.
Nahh he isn't balanced, he just has 2-3 cheese features that aren't fun for anyone other than dynamike and they are carrying him
the gadget is arguably the only thing that is unbalanced about him. To get tot his super you need to hit shots, and at a high skill level it becomes very difficult to actually be able to hit shots with dynamike, as your opponents know how to dodge him correctly, so it is in turn difficult to get your super.

@@MythicalForce27 Dynamike is supposed to be the most skillful thrower, that's what he once was, but now the shorter detonation time, the stunning gadget and demolition make him much less skillfull than what he once was. Dyna is now easy to use and good in both casual and professional environments, which ruins it. Like, why would I pick another thrower when Dyna better? Before the skill cap was a reason for you to not pick him, but with so many easy ways to get free kills, there's no question.

you know actually the attacks taking longer with range is a huge advantage for mike
since the attack is right about to explode right when it hits the ground at max range so its virtually unreactable for people who arent expecting it
at around 800 trophies mikes are constantly throwing sticks at offscreen players or from bushes becuase mikes attacks are pretty easy to hit at max range + surprise
also mikes super is very noteworthy because it oneshots a bunch of low hp brawlers, which is the only scenario youd draft mike anyway
its not really a starting or finishing attack its a 2x attack with a larger radius than his normal attack so even with the longer time before explosion its about as easy to hit as a main attack
mike can teamwipe very easily since his super also recharges itself very well
hit just one person with a super + 2 sticks charges a second super
Dynamike should get a mythic gear that is basically just a clone of the gadget gear so he can use 5 satchel charges per match

This, coupled with the fact that people make dogshit edits with him & some absolutely horrible phonk music over the top of it, that honestly deter me from playing the brawler
I even have a skin for him, one that i regret buying because i just dont play him because of these bullshit edits
i dunno why no one else says this but dyna is for sure way more annoying than tick. old man has a massive damage and a long range and if you even try to approach him and bait a predict there's still a chance for you to get hit due to his damn goofy hitbox. he seriously needs at least a damage or a range nerf, throwers have absolutely no right to be as beefy as he is since he has a natural advantage anyway. his counters are all melee and do i really need to reduce my full roster to 1/5 with assassins just to counter him?? other throwers are fine. i love barley and willow mains

Cant stand tick but you bring up fair points. I think for the most part the average tick is more annoying cuz tick is objectively one of the least skilled brawlers in the game - you dont really have to aim main attack, super doesnt require aiming, star power makes healing easier, and gadget is an instant shield. If I’m getting cooked by a mike, usually I am not as annoyed since Ik they are at least skilled.
Is it weird to hold out hope for brawlers to get a third gear of higher rarity? Also that Dynamike community sounds pretty diehard you know?

Edit: He was straight f tier until the attack change and then dyna jump was useless till last year. Now his dyna jump doesn’t even avoid damage because the timing to fall is too low.
They kept Dynajumping for the ones that did it for the clips and ruined it for the ones that actually used it for the dodges '-'

Not really, I think it needs a Damage decrease if anything or anything that prevents ir from being a regular attack with an additioanl effect.

You should make a vid on y some brawlers r so hard to balance. How come brawlers like Janet and Penny r always at the top or bottom of the meta, while brawlers like Lola and Stu always seems to be in or near the middle? Whats makes them so different? What makes a brawler ez or hard to balance?

Dynamike is able to do 6000 damage wirh a super using Demolition SP (half of El Primos health), stun people for 1.5 seconds 3-4 times a match and don't even get me started on hypercharge.
I thought you had pretty good balance discussions but I don't know what's with the Dynamike glazing.
I don't care what the pros think or what competitive thinks. Fact is casual players like me can't have fun on certain maps because every single one will have a brawler who shoots over walls with several stuns, a 6000 damage super that is charged in two hits and a hypercharge to worsen it further.
You can't play the map because of Dynamike because you can't feed him more than a single hit.
I used to be a Dynamike main before they started introducing the gadgets and then the hypercharge. There was no fun for me either playing a busted brawler.
The air time you can get from his super is nuts for clean escapes.
Stun gadget and his super are so annoying when I play with my sister it's always dynamike that outplay us with gadget and precise shots to the point we lose interest in playing. Such an annoying brawler lol

I feel like this is a very relevant discussion and that you'd have a great ability to break down which of the two reward systems is better for the brawl stars player, I find it a very interesting topic!

dynamike is balanced for one reason: once all 3-4 gadgets are used, dynamike players go back to sucking balls at the video game and don't provide any more use to their team
My first level 11 brawler despite not being my favorite by a mile, he’s so busted sometimes that when I got his hypercharge out of a legendary I had to get him leveled up.
Dynamike is not fair or balanced he gets countered to fast :/
I think a way that could nerf satchel charge without really nerfing it is making each piece of dynamite stun for 0.75 seconds, so if you hit both pieces of dynamite you get just as rewarded but if you only it one the enemy actually might have a chance to survive

I don't really like how they kinda removed most of the skill from Dyna. Dynamike is much easier to play nowadays then he was back then, and this is true for many brawlers. I feel like they are making many brawlers easier to play with, easier to hit shots with and less punishing. The hypercharges to skilled brawlers that make them annoying and braindead (like Mortis') are a good example of this, they are slowly removing the skill from this game and making every brawler easier and easier to play, just so the 6 year olds playing the game win more so they spend their parents money.
I get that making the game easier to play attracts a larger audience, but it feels that brawl stars loses the skill aspect a little bit every day
I think about Reddit posts from years ago and how people then agreed he had to be trash in order for the game to be healthy. Wonder how'd the people then would react to dynamike (and by proxy the rest of the game) in their current state today

this is like the only intelligent dynamike video i've ever seen in 5 years of maining the brawler
dynamike is EXTREMELY timing based, rhythm and distance are everything, good demo mikes like H8R and Hayden are infuriatingly flawless with both
fidget is underrated in 1v2/1v3s, deals close to guaranteed damage + free speed boost
jump is useful for positioning in competitive play; think Pit Stop mid. Dodging with it is a gimmick but usually a waste of time for the risk it carries. Jump is primarily interesting as a personal challenge and skill mechanic rather than anything competitive.
Satchel is one of the most powerful gadgets in the game, and would be broken on anyone but Dyna. But it's dyna, so it's not. Anyone complaining that Satchel is unbalanced and needs to be removed/reworked has never actually tried to play dyna, they just get stunned every once in a while, get really mad about it, and assumes it makes Dyna OP. +1 gear makes it more annoying, but honestly, if a mike is completely reliant on their stuns and can't hit anything otherwise, you'll have to worry about them for about 20 seconds and they'll be useless for the rest of the game.
honestly I haven't noticed a whole lot of differences with dyna's balances, for a pretty simple reason: he will almost NEVER win his worst matchups. if I, a rather good dyna, want to fight a complete noob on mortis, I need to pull some real wacky bs to win that matchup... even though the skill differential is huge. Mike could deal 10000 damage per stick and if any one of [pick 20 brawlers that hard counter him] is anywhere in the meta he's almost completely useless vs those brawlers in the hands of anyone with a braincell
perhaps the only balance I actually did notice was the speed buff, which combined with fidget + hyper actually makes positioning a lot easier. i often find myself popping hyper for no reason other than because I want the speed boost. basically a free max super which is VERY useful for a brawler as aggressive as Dyna

Im sorry, but dynamike is not OP at all. at lower trophy ranges, you could make that argument, as dynamike is a bit of a noobstomper as i mentioned in the video, and it is exceedingly easy to hit his shots. However, once you reach higher ranks/trophies it becomes much more difficult to be able to consistently hit shots. By that time, many people have figured out his attack patterns, and so it becomes difficult to do anything with him; and he isn't very useful beyond being a 6th pick counter on a map with a lot of walls. The stun gadget however is probably a little too good, and maybe should receive a nerf.

Dynamike is actually quite balanced honestly, I've mained dynamike for 4 years now, and I can guarantee that dynamike is terrible without certain maps, dynamike thrives more on maps with more walls because of this is where people complain, brawlstars map rotation consists of alot of iron walls and maps with alot of walls these days. which is why dynamike thrives. if dynamike is played on maps that have fewer walls he still loses, he has a higher lose rate due to being countered by any brawler with movement speed as well.
I think that applies to most throwers. I main Barley and he absolutely needs walls. However just like Dynamike, Barley has a way to maybe have a chance to run away. Dyna stuns and barley slows

I have a question, what about the other stat power? The one that increases super damage (don't know the name?)
I'm in midladder, mostly ~R25, and so are my friends, so we are not skilled enough to use dynajumps consistently, but playing with the other star power is sometimes better, and a lot lf times gives us the enough damage to kill enemies easier. With that one of my friends pushed dyna to R28 (a lot for us).
But with full potential dynajumps, how does that do in the pro scene? And if it wasn't for dynajumps, would it be a good pick?
the other star power is more consistent and the "better" star power. I use it more often, mostly because I am trash at dynajumps, but it also helps in killing brawlers with your super that otherwise wouldn't have died

Devs are trying to come up with more unique and complex throwers yet the most unique thrower is the second one you get to unlock.
It's also ironic how Dynamike as a character is described as impatient yet his gameplay to be perfect needs to be practically the opposite of that.
A lot of noobs (and those like) tend to be impatient and end up losing because they changed their strategy last second.
They should make it so you can't use satchel charge if the enemy cant see you and if you throw the dynamite it wont stun and you just keep your gadget, that way dynamikes can still come out of a bush and throw it but you can react
