HAIII Y'ALL! captions will be up later tonight (youtube is taking longer than usual to process them ;-;). but i hope everyone enjoys the vid, lmk what ur currently reading!
im eading bless me ultima (rudolfo anaya) for school right now, and i'm kinda reading a brief history of time (stephen hawking) for fun when i get the chance-also i love your content so much, it gives me the energy to clean my room and study
it's a little silly, but I'm honestly so happy to see linh organize her books by author. i feel like book internet ppl always organize by genre or color, but I've always organized alphabetically by title. i love the way shelves look when everything's mixed up, also things are much easier to find haha
Tbh for me it is much easier to find books when they are sorted by Color - esp when it’s been a while since I read them. That’s bc I know exactly how the book looks and what Color it has even though I can’t remember name and definitely not the Author. But I know that that is not very common haha
This was a joy to watch. I'm a bit older (34) and watching these videos really makes me excited. When I was in my 20s I never really got a chance to properly decorate my own place for various reasons, but this makes me excited to have those experiences! (One of the main reasons being everywhere I lived just felt like a brief stopover on my journey and it didn't feel worth the hassle.) We're in the middle of packing up my childhood home now, and I will eventually be moving into an actual place of my own at some point this year. Your videos make me super excited to treat my next place with love and make it look all cute. Plus now I'm also super excited for sorting out my bookshelves and making a mini library! Thank you for spreading such positive energy :)
I’ve never related to a post more! I just turned 33 and can finally decorate my real place that’s not just a “layover”. I already started my bookshelf and was so inspired by seeing this video to add even more
@@supadupafupa Oh I am so happy and excited for you! Congrats on the real place, and thank you for sharing that. I hope you have tons of fun making your home truly yours 😊
I am only 1 minutes in but ALREADY KNOW this is going to be my fav video of yours. Like, the books? The plants?? It’s like you’re speaking my love language, Linh ✨🫶🏻🪴📚
Love the aesthetic and style, I’m in the phase of trying to sort my life out, and this is incredibly motivating, also the happiness I feel from Rick riordan appreciation! He’s my favourite author of all time, simply for giving me several book series I can depend on, great vid linh :)
YESSSSS!!! Another video of lofting with Linh!!! I were cramming and crying over one stressful exam I have tmrw. You have NO idea how much this means and helps me! Thank you so so so much babes!! 😙😙Also books!!!❤❤ I have followed you from since 2019. You bring me so much comfort and your videos are always delight to see, old or new!❤❤
I loveeee the vibes of this video!!! As a plant nerd just some words of advice; be careful not to overwater your plants in their new pots. When repotting plants you only need a pot that’s an inch or two bigger in circumference than the original pot, so be careful that they don’t get overwatered because the excess soil can retain moisture and potentially cause rotting.
I enjoyed watching this sm! I stopped reading (and even watching) and these are my source of entertainment! But ever since I started college, I just became so busy and would rather sit down and read my textbooks rather than read something to take a break from. However, watching this made me want to read again after 3 years of hiatus. That's insane! Thanks Linh for somehow encouraging me go back to my hobby again. It is highly appreciated.
I love watching Linh's videos because it gives me the motivation to continue working ahead, so hopefully i can have a sweet apartment like hers!! As someone whos still a minor, in school, and living with their parents, living alone can seem pretty scary, but she helps to remind me that it'll be alright once I finally move out! Thank you Linh
binged watching youtube again and revisiting youtuber that i used to watch when i was younger because i want to be motivated again like way back 2018 and 2019 when life was still good and i was still very hopeful about life.
I really recommend the book A Map for the Missing! It’s by the Asian American author Belinda Huijuan Tang, her writing is really amazing and had me trying not to cry on the bus many times. It’s about a man from a rural Chinese village who goes on a search for his missing father and while he’s searching we learn about his and his past loves lives and the tragedies and situations that shaped their lives today. It takes place from the 1970-1990s and there’s also a lot of political commentary in there as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The color scheme of your whole apartment is to die for ugh ✨💖✨ Linh always coming in hot with the iconic room tours (still remember the old bedroom w the mattress on the floor and everything
I just want to say that it makes me so happy that you have “The Whiz Mob and the Grenadine Kid,” it is so good. The maturity to see good in books written for children as an adult is strong with you. And it just make my day.
11:16 omg the song of Achilles T^T it's my favourite book its so fucking good and Madeline Miller's writing feels so poetic im so excited to continue reading more of her books
Hiii!! love that you repotted your plant, just wanted to pass some advise but only you will know whats right :) - from personal experience that pot is way too big for your plant and its more likely to suffer from root rot sitting in so much wet soil. A rule of thumb for repotting is to only go a max of 2-3 inches up at a time
Loved your video! Seeing your collection inspires me to grow my own collection! I'm currently reading the third book of a series: a Nobleman's guide to scandal and shipwrecks. In this series each book is from the perspective of another sibling from the same household. They take place in the 1700's and are pretty adventurous and queer! I'm really enjoying them and think you might also! Have a great rest of your day! ❤
Hi Linh Just found your channel and this is the first video I watched and I love it so much. The vibes are wonderful and we have pretty similar tastes in books and decorations, which is super cool. Can't wait to follow you on your journey and to watch more of your videos!
I know this will sound silly but it’s so cool seeing a new adult still enjoy YA. I love ya books and romance and fantasy, and often feel embarrassed telling my peers now that I’m 19. But they’re so good! And say so much!!
I have always organized my books by author! It just makes it so much easier for me to grab a book to re-read. This has definitely inspired me to take all by books out of the steralite bin I have them crammed in and display them.
SLAYYYY!!! OMG I love reading and I love you Linh lol, but I would really like to see a video of all the books you own! It seems like something I would like :) I have been wanting to find more books to read!
Just discovered this side of TH-cam today and now I'm *so excited* at the idea of someday having my own place and my own antique bookshelves (cuz no way am I getting some boring white ikea shelves, we give old things new life in this household) to fill up with books. My collection is currently very smol (like me :3) cuz I am SO ridiculously picky with my books. Currently reading The Once and Future Witches by Alix E Harrow
This was such a wonderfully chill video and I loved seeing your collection! I also love that you're such an unapologetic fan of the things you like, it's such a joy to see. :)
the thing about epidemic sound music, especially the Korean section, is that there are only 2-3 amazing musicians on there and I know their music by heart from using their stuff so much so I've just been singing along to Imin's stuff in your vid hahahah
i grew up in knoxville too, so crazy! i went to ball camp kindergarten-3rd. wonder if we ever saw each other! :) such a satisfying video. love you aesthetic!
omg the og booktube books?? like illuminae and strange the dreamer and the scythe series?? i LOVED these but don't see them as much anymore. i am hoping to see more book content from you. ps i love dustins videos!
My current read right now is the hating game and it is so good. If you want something smutty but not too in detail, romantic, very funny I totally recommend it. I just started chapter 5 and oh, it’s spicy. 🌶️
The Arc of the Scythe is SOOOO GOOD I have them in paperback and they are signed!!! We got to have Neal Shusterman do a presentation at our highschool right before COVID and my club got to have our books signed and if we wanted a free copy!
I am currently re-reading starsight by brandon sanderson, part of a trilogy i didn't really remember a lot so i gave it a chance again. i feel like my books get so dirty in comparison of every booktuber i see and i wonder if i do something wrong because their books look pristine new. Love your videos and your aesthetic

such a cute video! I just started reading The Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan :D
I started reading we are the ants by Shaun David Hutchinson :))
I’m reading All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven rn :) I love the way you did your bookshelves!!
I finished "The DaVinci code" , it was so good that I read it in a short time, and now start reading "the physics of sorrow"
im eading bless me ultima (rudolfo anaya) for school right now, and i'm kinda reading a brief history of time (stephen hawking) for fun when i get the chance-also i love your content so much, it gives me the energy to clean my room and study

Yesss
Same- I like the mix of colors (it looks more natural). Also, it’s the only way I can actually find the book I’m looking for
Tbh for me it is much easier to find books when they are sorted by Color - esp when it’s been a while since I read them. That’s bc I know exactly how the book looks and what Color it has even though I can’t remember name and definitely not the Author. But I know that that is not very common haha
i sort them by size
me too!! I love the way it looks on the shelf
the way everyone puts effort into their bookshelves is one of my favorite things ever 😭
Anyone else want more book focused videos from Linh? 😫😭. Book reviews, Fav books, book tok, etc!! 💞
Edit: Linh, give the ppl what they want! 😭👀💖

YES
I would love to see more of that content! And plant care TOO!! ❤

as someone who is a college freshman , it was sad to pack all my books away. I can’t wait to see them again :)
You're literally one of the only people I've seen who also knows Martha Speaks!!! It was one of my favs growing up!
