I have a jbl prx718 sub with 2 Mackie thump 15s and was wondering if 2 bose f1 812s with 2 f1 subwoofers would outperform my JBL 718 both in sound pressure level and dynamics? I have an opportunity to purchase them at a reasonable price, just need to make sure im not going backwards in bass performance. Thanks . I do a lot of mobile DJ stuff graduation parties bars restaurants. Indoor and outdoor.
Well I purchased them and have been thoroughly impressed! I have not been a Bose fan for a while, thought they just made mediocre at best home equipment but this is a whole nother level! The output is significant and the base you can feel it through your chest. It will not go as low as my JBL 18 but I don't know any songs that play all the way down to 30hz. The stereo imaging is unmatched in my opinion. Of course I haven't tried every speaker out there but compared to the ones I have these are the best performing.
you are still running 3 S1s instead of two? You will be amazed on how much better stereo sounds compared to running 3 mono speakers all playing the same content. Modern music is recorded in stereo, and listening to mono sounds very dull in comparison. You are right in regards to running subs together. Always run subs coupled together.
What’s the best way for us to runs the S1 Pro using wires and be able to experience stereo sound? I was able to listen to them in stereo in Bluetooth mode.

If you want to run wires/cables and also include the F1 sub, just buy a 1/8 to 1/4 or XLR (preferred) stereo cable and connect your media player (iphone) to the F1's L, R. inputs into the back of the sub. Then connect each S1 to each output of the F1sub via 1/4 or XLR. Hey. Bose F1 is at 40hz, Bose Sub2 is at 37hz.. so newer one goes lower. But in professional audio world, frequencies below 40hz are useless! It reduces driver durability. New Sub2 won't be long lasting, unless you tone it down to 40hz low cut. So, what's the point of being able to hit 37hz. 😐 Racetrack driver furthermore makes it difficult to repair or replacement of worn off driver. Choice is yours. Money is yours. I prefer Bose F1 SUBWOOFER over new Sub2.🥳hope it was helpful😁 I believe for upcoming 6 years, will have to use all of that gear for home use only😂. Until pandemic clears out completely. 🙏
I have an old hand my down Frankenstein sony system… will this hook up?? It doesn’t have like special hook ups that only go to bose or special systems is what im asking????

Not recommended. Since those have horns, not twitters like the Bose F1 model 812. You can use it with any mid-hi but I recommend Model 812 for best balanced output.

I haven’t personally tested the L1 pro32 with b2 sub yet, so I can’t comment on this

I was not over impressed with the 905 for the money, i think you need 18” to balance out 745a get full nice sound
