Hi Gavin, Your HMS Bristol is really looking good. You really did a great job scratch building all those parts. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day marra. Jeff
I think the charm of these diminutive models is their busy superstructures and fittings. Great work with the scratchbuilding. Don’t bother with the nay-sayers, it is your model so only your opinion and enjoyment matters marra. ☺️
Hi Gav, congratulations on the work with this little stunner, adding deatail in this scale must be at times very frustrating, congratulations on the great work so far, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Cheers Les yes it can be i think for me its more frustrating trying to get the correct reference material . Thanks again marra enjoy your weekend . Regards Gav.
hi Gav... you are doing a great job on this ship build... i wouldn't worry about what other say...if you only have 1 picture to go by then build it that way or use your modelers license to improvise... thx 4 sharing.. vinny
WRT to feedback Gav I think there's a difference between /criticism/ which is often unsolicited, unqualified, and negative, and a /critique/ which is often requested, qualified, and measured. e.g. 'That's crap' - criticism, versus 'Good attempt, appreciate you tried but.. X, Y, Z'.. which is supportive and informative - critique.
Looking good marra, very handy bits of scratch building and you've obviously done tons of research. She'll be a beauty when she's done!
Just starting the painting cheers Gary . Regards Gav.
