Quality is insane on this, amazing job. I love the idea of gear trading, and as for the earrings and hats, its possible some gear pieces could include both like they do with hats and glasses. I'd also love the amplified music that would be awesome. Side note: The LDE description there is Splatoon 1 LDE, hence why its less savers and has QR*

Or maybe they could add a fourth optional gear slot called the accessory slot. This slot would have no ability, and thus would grant no competitive advantage, so you can leave it empty if you want, but in this slot there could be earrings, glasses, and other small, well, "accessories" to further customize your character. I think this would be a cool idea, and having more customization is always good.

Otherwise you're kind of forcing people to wear an accessory, this wouldn't be a problem most of the time, but it could affect some people who already have a gear set they like and don't want to change. I know they could do something like the fake contacts again, but that's restricting them to one ability and thus would put them on a disadvantage. Basically, the fourth slot should be only aesthetic , designed for people who want some accessory to feel like their gear set is "complete", and if the player doesn't want anything on the fourth slot, they can easily leave it empty, without having a huge disadvantage in game play.

Imagine a passive multiplayer hub where you could see other players walking around in real time similar to games like Sky Children of Light. It would be fun to dork around an apartment complex with other players in-between matches
The day and night cycle is something I never thought I wanted in Splatoon but now do. Also, I remember in the first game when we had an actual apartment and thought we would see our rooms at one point
For apartments I think they should be added a little later on in the game (some time after the first splatfest probably), that way the developers can forces on multiplayer, balancing, and having time to slowly developed the apartments for players. (Also I think it would be cool if some players had apartments in different locations like some people live in splatsvile, some people live in a nearby town, or some people live in a house little buddy and another inkling/octoling. Just to make the apartments seem a little more special.)
I really like the idea of apartments being customizable with objects you purchased in that store you mentioned. This could be expanded to a massive degree like imagine if players were able to actually view your apartment you customized; better yet, what if those players were able to view your in-game stats by doing this? Like there could be an option to display your total ink coverage, or for them to view your gear; which would tie in with that trading idea. Nintendo could really do away with this!

You mean like, the square? Idk, the hub part is supposed to feel like a lived-in city, and world building is like a main focus in Splatoon. Randomly having one of the Inklings vandalize public property and disturb peace with a paint gun that's normally used in a sport with no consequences wouldn't really make sense. Plus it'd be pointless, the slow movility isn't even a problem in the hub, there's literally a menu that takes you to any shop or important place.
I want the amiibos to give us their clothes, for example lets say i used a Callie amiibo, and it gives me the clothes she uses on the news, and for the hero mode gear you should be able to do quests for it. I think that would be a great idea!

This is the best "What Splatoon 3 Needs" video I've seen! I agree with most of your points. I would also add that I want better matchmaking for Salmon Run. Most people are Profreshional, but there is still a lot of diversity in the skill base in Profresh. (100s get paired with 100s, 400s with 400s, etc.)
I think weapon accuracy should stay the same because weapons being inaccurate is part of some of their designs. Of that change was addded the .52 gal would have to be significantly reworked to stay balanced and would ultimately no longer feel unique, it would no longer be the .52 gal. Other than that great video
9:44 this is already sorta in-game. When you go to redeem a drink ticket it shows you what brand(s) have that common ability, but it doesn’t show what’s uncommon.

I remember a splatoon 3 concept i saw a while ago that you could probably find pretty easy through google or something and it said that a weapon class could be an anchor that sprays ink and they called it an "inkhor". I really hope that nintendo adds it. maybe a wee bit faster than the dynamo swing and short ink range but REALLY huge damage up close. I probably sound redundant but I'm thinking that it should have (if they add something like this) Dynamo swing speed or a lil faster than that Little bit more range than a carbon roller Kill range is basically an extended carbon roller hitbox I want it to be a tanky slow heavy-hitting weapon (IF IT GETS ADDED)
I think all of the weapons should have a Base weapon, and then when you play enough with that certain weapon you unlock the other variations of it. so you would have the base weapon would have the variations underneath it greyed out indicating that it's locked
Realistically, room codes instead of friend codes would be a massive change, because that means the entire backend got overhauled, instead of just iterated upon (which is what I'd expect).
it would be cool for the apartments if you could also share one with your friends and decorate it simultaneously, or be able to invite them there for fun as well
For another new weapon class I was thinking something where like it charges like a sniper / heavy splatling but instead it makes it do more damage. Every time you shoot with it it could go further per charge or even have a better splat amount (more ground coverage) and when fully charged it could also do a quarter of a persons health per hit but to shoot it you have to spam click it. Idc what it is called or looks like

Instead of the "time of day in the game follows the player irl" i'd rather have some kind of cycle where each match is in a new time of the day, and when you return to the hub it's in the same time as your last match. My only concern is that every player should have the same amount of visibility, therefore everyone should have the same time of day. So maybe a random time of day would be better🤔

The SplatPhone could also show your experience and your best weapon without knowing it cuz I don‘t know my best weapon 💀
I would like to be able to design how your character shows up in other peoples plaza, like what specific outfit you wear in their plaza that’s different from what you’re currently wearing, and what ink color shows up in their plaza
Additional point for Salmon Run: A way to see records. I know that you can see some when talking to Callie and Marie (randomly, why Nintendo) but they are only the records and averages of the past 50 shifts. Certain stats should be permanently saved like most Power Eggs and Golden Eggs.
FYI if you go over to Callie and Marie in octo canyon, and keep talking to Callie she will eventually give you a recommendation weapon for the day. Yes it changes everyday.

I LOVE the idea and have always wanted customizable kits, but say they bring back Splatoon 1 level specials…then chargers would be broken because you could combine it with kraken to get a broken set, with up close and far away capabilities. Plus, you could make burst bombs or seeker for a PERMANENT up close option…everyone would just chose the same combo at that point
agreed with practically all of it. only thing tho is idk if players being able to build their own kits it good idea. once someone finds the best possible combo that’s all anyone would play and gameplay might get stale. might not happen but it’s definitely possible
The only thing I want is the idols to be a BAND instead of a Duo. Like, maybe 3 or 4 different characters with their own personalities and such. I think having a Rock band or something as the idols would honestly fit the theme of Splatoon 3 very well!
I have a theory that there is some sort of clothing spray etc that keeps you safe from ink but you aren’t aloud to use it in modes I speculate this because If you shoot callie she doesn’t die

12:11 Even if Nintendo surprisingly added this to Splatoon 3, I have a sneakingly dark suspicion that some of THOSE players would milk the feature endlessly to make the player(s) they splatted angry. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the feature in case the turf war ends up being a squid/octo/swim party, but some of the toxic players of the community would probably just use the feature to their advantage just to troll in the mode they selected.
If they add an "MVC" system (or really just any system that rewards players for playing well), I think it should be based on OBJECTIVES, not kills or anything. I think people already focus too hard on kills rather than pushing the objective, so more incentive for that would be amazing.
I appreciate the comment, but this channel will just be focusing on Splatoon for now :) Scarlet and Violet looks promising though, but yeah there are things it needs as well to give it that Pokemon Polish that I feel that SWSH was missing.

oh and another thing, they should make it so that you have random players each day that are in your apartment, if you have more then one bed in which they are actually gone from their beds or in their based on if their online or not, so if this random players out there playing turf war or smth, they ain't in their beds but if their also in the loading screen or just in the screen where they choose what their going to do(Go outside, customize apartment along those lines), their holding a phone and sitting up and you can also see them leave if they go outside, and ofcourse sleeping when their just not on the switch, and just if I could add, a pose for your inkling or octoling to have when YOUR on the loading/ mode Select? I guess you would call it.

The only thing I want is the idols to be a BAND instead of a Duo. Like, maybe 3 or 4 different characters with their own personalities and such. I think having a Rock band or something as the idols would honestly fit the theme of Splatoon 3 very well!

12:11 Even if Nintendo surprisingly added this to Splatoon 3, I have a sneakingly dark suspicion that some of THOSE players would milk the feature endlessly to make the player(s) they splatted angry. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the feature in case the turf war ends up being a squid/octo/swim party, but some of the toxic players of the community would probably just use the feature to their advantage just to troll in the mode they selected.
This is the first Splatoon game that's delayed instead of released early, so here's hoping we get this kind of content!

I think it’d be really cool if you could do side quests for more money and maybe even exclusive clothing! That’s just me tho
If they add an "MVC" system (or really just any system that rewards players for playing well), I think it should be based on OBJECTIVES, not kills or anything. I think people already focus too hard on kills rather than pushing the objective, so more incentive for that would be amazing.

oh and another thing, they should make it so that you have random players each day that are in your apartment, if you have more then one bed in which they are actually gone from their beds or in their based on if their online or not, so if this random players out there playing turf war or smth, they ain't in their beds but if their also in the loading screen or just in the screen where they choose what their going to do(Go outside, customize apartment along those lines), their holding a phone and sitting up and you can also see them leave if they go outside, and ofcourse sleeping when their just not on the switch, and just if I could add, a pose for your inkling or octoling to have when YOUR on the loading/ mode Select? I guess you would call it.
