Seems like you’re wanting to try bigger jumps and you’d do yourself a world of help with some stiffer suspension, first thing I noticed. Absolutely brutal crash, hope you have a speedy and healthy recovery 🙏🏻
def get some suspension valving and sprung for your weight. and i would practice your techniques. Proper body position, squeezing with your legs, how to preload, how to jump properly. Search all those things on youtube and there is a ton of content by MX factory and AJ Catanzaro to help you practice. And 100% sell that bike and get something with better suspension, then get it valved for yourself
I think the little dudes a kid pal he’s doing his best with what he’s got not everyone can buy a new bike because it’s old and tired I hear ya we all learn on shitboxes unless your dads rich 🤑

Get well soon man! I just want to level with you and say you are not ready to be jumping though (especially big gaps). I know its fun but it bites you bad when you cannot control the bike. When your back seriously focus and hone the ground control, its very obvious you are fighting this bike hard. Riding is fun but not when you ride over your skills and end up laying in a hospital bed. Just being real with you, heal up and get back on the grind!
Zero hate but a lot wrong here, biggest thing is proper bracing/body position. Also pushing the limit of your bike control/skill the entire time. Slow it down and get comfy and learn the smaller jumps , a newer bike with suspension will of course help like everyone is saying but even a 2024 with A kit can’t make up for riding outside of your comfort zone and improper technique. Hope for a quick recovery and unfortunate the lesson was learned the hard way
I only watched this video to learn what NOT to do. I’ve learned from this to know my limitations an to build up my skill level first before sending it watching to much Axel Hodges videos saying to myself I can do that👀🤔 #glad your alive. Damn my guy😮😮😮 I feel the pain I broke my back in 3 places on the 4th of July in the exact same way.... I will tell you now, get use to pain cuz it's gonna hurt for a while I still wake up every morning in pain..
Honestly bro.. In slow motion, I can see that if you didn’t panic twist the throttle so soon, you actually might have cleared that by landing back tire first (on the gas) on the backside of the table. You might have already known that but just my observation
Bro I broke my back, clavicle, 2 ribs, tore an artery in the back of my neck, got knocked out and had a seizure.. I’m not paralyzed by the grace of God. Hope you heal up brochacho
This wasnt a suspension issue. This was jumping technique, and lack of planning on a big jump. He tentatively approached the jump and then gunned it. Watch any pro, they gain speed out of the corner and leading up to the jump, not only on the takeoff. Also, when jumping a jump for the first time, learn from someone who can do it. Follow them, get their pace, talk to them about the jump, and then try when you're comfortable. Hope he gets better soon..... And yes, suspension will help, but that wasn't the cause of this.
Nobody is saying suspension was why I broke my back the people talking about suspension are talking about when I was in corners they could tell my suspension was off which it is
@@Colt_MX Yes I agree with you on both accounts. Be safe out there... As someone who raced in the 2000s as a teenager, I've had concussions and broken bones too... good luck man. I'm sure you learned a lot because of this

I don't care what suspension you have, casing a 90-footer into the wrong side face of the landing setting down is going to break your ass off. Period.

Broken back doesn't sound good. Hopefully you make a full recovery brother. Curious, were you sitting when you landed during the crash?
Yes I was stood up last second
Best of luck to your recovery but you couldnt figure out the smaller jumps/ rythem so why push it?
Idk I was just feeling it in the moment next time I go I’m going to make sure I’m clearing all of the smaller jumps and the big table tops first
