My second floor is white pure aluminum with false ceiling . Now this has survived well for over twenty five years . Coconuts fall on a part of it There are dents there but this is the best I think
@@anitha22 I have given a false ceiling of a material which is like asbestos but not asbestos but which is beautiful ...It was a bit costly at that time but has survived all these years... There are a lot of trees in my parambu so generally it is cool but as you said it is UNLIVABLE 😁 on the first floor during summer in the day time but very cool at nights (aluminum cools faster) Of course during the rainy season you get to know first when it rains 😀.. I like the sound ..😁.. feels close to nature but it's a personal choice ... Of course there are a lot of alternatives now ....
@@ashokkurian6884 thank you for your immediate reply. Instead of simple truss work, I am thinking to cover the entire second floor with roofing sheet & side with vboard. Lot of confusion in every stage of construction 🥲

Brother, I do not understand Tamil but I think its a great video explaining the various options of roofing. I was considering Aluminium sheets but was informed that it retains heat much more than MS or GI sheets.
Most of the roof sheet manufacturers do not provide some coloured self tapping screws...due to which the normal aluminium shade screws project out, destroying the aesthetics of the roofing finish..
