Your thumbnail sucks! My heart dropped and I was actually scared until I saw what you were referring to. Please don't do that to us....there are people out here that care a lot about you! ❤✌❤

Don't kid yourselves: they're not doing any of this for free. It's their job, and many here are paying their salary, supporting a lifestyle that they themselves probably don't have.
The worst news is the use of claickbait titles. Spoiler: The bad news is that their vans can not be sold on consignment at the MB dealer. About 2 mins in.
Please use positive words and Start with a good welcoming title of your video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys are blessed, vibrant people and we support you !!
Yes that is positive marketing and they should do it. Alarming titles bring back the really negative horrible memories like losing parents etc. Please be positive. The world needs and deserves it
If only those kind of titles worked, but it’s tried and tested-on platforms like TH-cam, those kinds of titles work best for growing audience. But those of us who know the channel already can just take it with a grain of salt. It’s really not that hard to give them a break for doing what they need to do to keep the channel profitable.
For me, bad news is someone getting injured or suffering from a serious illness - that was more on the scale of disappointing news. I have no doubt that the van will sell.
They said some bad news for them not you considering they rely on the income for all the man hours and the items for the build. They share every part of their lives with us so stop trying to critique their feelings.

I don't get what is so bad about this news. That's it? Really? I would hate some really bad news. I would say wearing sun glasses all the time would be much more stressful.
Bad news will be when they run out of propane. That will be bad! Hopefully, they will not procrastinate on this beyond now. We thought they needed two tanks when the first one was installed, unless they have electric heat for backup. $ $ $ They need a real wood furnace in the basement. Not sure if they can have that or an outside corn burner because of their regulations. Best wishes
Disappointing news, yes….but not “bad” news. With the following you’ve got, thru word of mouth, I bet you’ll have a buyer soon. Leo is just too cute, playing peek a boo. Enjoy all the time with him because before you know it, he’ll be all grown. Stay safe and Blessings.

A way to make sure the fridge/freezer is working correctly is to put a cup of water in the freezer and let it freeze solid. Then place a penny on top of the frozen water. If the fridge/freezer ever stops working you can see if the water melted and the penny sunk any.
Everyone is so invested in your lives, that words can make a difference. “Bad news” is a panic statement for us who care about Leo, grandparents, your puppies, Brandon and you guys etc. I know how thoughtful you guys are and you would never intentionally hurt or deceive, so just something to think about. Regarding heating the garage, I would drain the pipes and set the furnaces to their lowest settings so there is no chance of the pipes freezing. In a building that won't be heated 24/7, I would install a "low drainage point" valve (like in an RV) and routinely drain the lines in the winter when the building isn't being used. Why heat an unoccupied space?
I have a solution for your problem with the mini-split getting buried in the snow; put the outside unit high up on the back wall of the house, on L brackets or a small platform. This will keep it above the snow, and it will be able to contribute some heat in winter to save propane. BTW, perhaps you should look into getting a second propane tank?
I love you guys. Nothing stops you. Always positive, doesn't matter how difficult the "challenge is. If I may suggest something to improve your channel is to use your positivity into the titles of you videos. Your videos are good enough and don't need the extra "drama" titles.
I've always mixed some Dawn dish washing liquid with water (1/3 Dawn to 2/3 water) to check for gas leaks when I connect a new propane tank to my gas grill. If there's a leak the gas will blow soap bubbles around the threads on the fitting.

Dotz Pretzels were first made in a town 20 miles from us. She sold her business a few years ago. My husband and I tried them for the first time last year. We've lived here for 40 years. Neither of us like Pretzels, but those we will eat, yum. Cold is when the exhaust pipes freeze shut when your at a stop light. You have to take a pocket knife to open it back up. Yes, we live in North Dakota. And the doors freeze shut also, what fun! And that's not including the wind chill.
Another great video. Sorry to hear about the Mercedes dealership. Sorry also to see the hecklers who want to criticize you! I ask God to continue blessing your lives in all areas.
Fridge: the reason you’re having good luck is the temp in the garage is cold. When summer comes, you’ll need that compressor swapped out. Do it now. I have the same fridge, it can take months to get the part.
Good morning Trent and Allie, sorry the deal fell thru with Mercedes. Hopefully someone else local will pick you up and help advertise for you all. Good luck!
Image if everyone that watches this goes to Google Maps and leave Mountain Made Vans 5 stars. That would definitely give trent and allie's business a boost and might make their day
Trent do yourself a favor. Listen to Allie drain and blow the water out of the Garage. If your worried about getting water all over inside just hook up a hose and put it outside. Use air pressure to evacuated the water from the pipes. Where the water comes out of the ground ,heat tape it like you did at the camper, then insulate the shit out of it. Its a battle you dont have to fight. You are in a very cold area with will stay cold a long time. You will be free to focus on the rest of the build and not have to worry about freezing. Also where you guys are Propane is a finite supply. Just my opinion, but I have a lot of experience preventing freezing. You have got at least 2 months till the waters safe. I look forward to seeing you videos. You are friends I have never met.
So, just how difficult would it be to blow or plow enough snow to refill your propane tank? Less, or more, than replacing all the frozen lines and valves? And how difficult would it be to clear a space and have a second (temporary?) propane tank delivered and plumbed in? Trailers have two tanks, why not your house? That's probably less work than installing a wood stove in the garage and trying to heat both house and garage with wood because the propane ran out! I'm probably breaking the guy code here, but Allie's right - drain the water lines! And pour RV antifreeze into the traps and/or low spots that can't be drained.
I like where the Mountain Made logo ended up on the van. Sad the deal fell through for the showroom, etc. Sigh. Yet the good working relationship with everyone else is so fun to watch. Congratulations on getting the heat going! 👍:)
I’m sorry about your Van deal did not go through, but I really got scared when you said bad news cause I thought something may have happened to your grandparents😢
Trent and Allie, check out the van tour with Luca and Sara. It's a motor RV that they have been loaned for a 30 day trip. The toilet/shower is genius design, how could you cooperate that into a van build at Mountain Made Van?
Sounds to me like Mountain Made Vans needs it's own showroom adjacent to the workshop so the public can see your business operation from beginning to end.
Image if everyone that watches this goes to Google Maps and leave Mountain Made Vans 5 stars. That would definitely give trent and allie's business a boost and might make their day
I absolutely love the drone shots of the surrounding forest and the beautiful snow!! Lived half my life in Michigan and now live in Arizona. Thank you for the seasonal changes throughout the year, it’s amazing!! Love and hugs from sunny Arizona💖😎💖
I really like Nickelback!!! and would love to see them... it is so awesome that Trent gets to go see them... I know I'm pretty old but I really like their Music.
We bought a small vacation home in WNY. Well water..Considered “agricultural “ Installed a couple of great mini splits. It was unoccupied for the winter. We figured the pipes should be fine, since there was heat. What we DID NOT consider; huge snow storm brought power outage, so no heat. Broken pipes, broken tankless water heater, etc. will be abt 10k to repair pipes walls, etc and tankless WH. Thank God the well had a trip to turn off when air in pipes so NO water damage. Live and learn. 🤦🏻♀️
Love the friendship between you guys. Love all the joking around together…….can tell you have been friends for years. Leo’s smile in the beginning to start the video is precious.
Dad always checked for gas leaks with liquid soap thinned with a little water. I was upset when he did it right and there were no bubbles. Thanks for the memory!
When you deliver bad news about the developing weather, Allie, you are always so upbeat with your delivery. I am far happier to say that there has been no snow or ice for several weeks. This means that I can get out and look at all the damage the previous winter blast did to the items that once grew in the garden. However, I should not be a wet blanket, being motivated and positive is essential if you are to keep going with all that you are doing. So, well done for continuing to keep at the many strands the pair of you have to your lives. So much positive energy, perhaps it is the benefit of being young and active with your hopes and dreams firing you forward.
I usually opened TH-cam to see if there's a video uploaded by you. But these days it's so nice to scroll through Facebook and to come across your familiar faces on the group I've joined. :)
Don't know if anyone's told you, but the music you play in the background is always fabulous! I also love the drone footage! And watching young Leo grow is icing on the cake that was your adventures in van life, and now in building a home, garage, and business!! Keep 'em coming!!
Dish soap is a great way to find gas leaks in your piping. It will bubble if there’s a leak. To save on propane, can you insulate the wall and roof cavities that you no longer need open for wiring, ducting or plumbing? Maybe Insulate as much as you can??
Stuff happens! Disappointing at worst. Could be a Blessing in Disguise. Things will work out. No one was hurt. No one died. The crew will come up with a better plan! Gitt'er done!!!! No Sniveling!!!!
That's Regulated pressure your talking about on the propane. A 20lb bottle at 70 degree temp will have an internal tank pressure of 145psi. At 100 degree temps it's at 172psi. That's why all tanks have a 200psi pop off(pressure relief) valve.
Have you guys considered offering a partnership with a car rental company (like Enterprise)? It might be a good way to get the exposure and a way for buyers to try out a van for a week before buying one? I'm sure a lot of people are like me where I would love to try one, but am not ready for the commitment and I don't feel comfortable with trying to drive a rental RV.
I noticed that there are a lot of 90 degree, sharp corners. For safety reasons, have you considered rounding off those corners, ie the table and counters? It may be a concern for buyers with children.
Image if everyone that watches this goes to Google Maps and leave Mountain Made Vans 5 stars. That would definitely give trent and allie's business a boost and would make their day. 🤣🤔
Your shop building needs insulation! That will make the propane last a long longer... although I suppose you're waiting for an inspection first? So much energy going out that roof...
All looks good. What does drive me crazy - Trent uses the word “ran” - grammatically it should be “run” - you have run lines - I know this is such a small thing but you use this a lot when talking. 😂
Are the dogbeds you get "Big Barker beds? They are made in the U.S. and have a lifetime warranty. They never go flat. They have a washable waterproof liner available. We LOVE them so I always let people know about them! ❤
They do it practically every week. It’s too bad they don’t film different types of content even close to home out and the beautiful nature that they live in the build it’s just old and they aren’t getting worse and worse with the titles to get attention and it’s just so boring. They could build a few days and film other content a few days.

-23 C is a fairly average winter day where i from. -55 for a good half dozen days is normal. But on prairie we also get strong windy days. Some windy days are life threatening cold.
My neighbors bought a used propane truck.8000 gal capacity. And full licenses. All he has to do is hire a driver. In summer the refineries partly give propane away. Abd they flare off a lot. One load a few years back was FREE except for taxes. I don know close you are to a refinery.
Wow! Dean is so wonderful and so glad he could get all of that hooked up and you have your heat soon for your man cave. maybe change out the garage and apartment over to a different propane tank, one on its own... i would think that would be the best way to handle it. keep the house on its own tank, remember, back up to the back up... hehehe. thanks for sharing.

I went to the rv show, tons of vans there. Mountain Maid vans need to be there
Thank you for sharing. Continued prayers and love for you all
Never got why Nickelback got a bad rap. Love them! Watching y'all complete a project and move on is fun. Thank you!
Enjoyed this video. The technical stuff is pretty amazing. Thank you, Dean. Thank you, T&A & Brandon
That would definitely give trent and allie's business a boost and might make their day
MMV has a showroom with almost half a million subscribers. if that doesn't sell the van then a brick and mortar showroom won't either
I absolutely love the drone shots of the surrounding forest and the beautiful snow!! Lived half my life in Michigan and now live in Arizona. Thank you for the seasonal changes throughout the year, it’s amazing!! Love and hugs from sunny Arizona💖😎💖
Ouch -6 degrees!! 86 degrees in Florida and sunny being 92 degrees warmer would be hard to give up, but it is pretty up there.
I really like Nickelback!!! and would love to see them... it is so awesome that Trent gets to go see them... I know I'm pretty old but I really like their Music.
Heeeey a new intro awesome! Fun fun. Spring is right around the corner everyones exited. Glad everyone is well hope you have an amazing day 😊
Spring is not around the corner in the Utah mountains. Its still a ways off
Leo is so cute I love seeing him in the video’s but I think I’ve see all the videos when do you put new ones out for 2023.
your bad news is never bad.
Leo is the cutest. God bless you and your family
Loved the ending, Leo is so so cute, sucking his thumb, adorable, getting big fast.... 👍🏻 God bless you guys.... And keep up the great work you do.
Trying out before buying would be a sales killer. These guys are building out other people's vans, not selling vans.
@@laurieg673 But what if they got vans from a rental company, built them out for the company, then the rental charged more for the cost of rental?
WOW, Van's look Super Good. You have a Great Team..
I noticed that there are a lot of 90 degree, sharp corners. For safety reasons, have you considered rounding off those corners, ie the table and counters? It may be a concern for buyers with children.
When we get excited about something, like a new way to sell something, then to have that taken away, it would be bad news for the business.
Leka following Dad around, 'give me a job Dad' 💕. Frank n Leka sitting up so straight in their workshop bed, keeping an eye on everyone. So cute!!
Cheapest concert is 50 cent with Nickleback lol. Glad Dean got in the zone and was able to solve the issue:)
Dean is a good friend to have. Leo is as cute as ever and Allie does a great job of editing. Brandon and Trent are a great team
Image if everyone that watches this goes to Google Maps and leave Mountain Made Vans 5 stars. That would definitely give trent and allie's business a boost and would make their day. 🤣🤔
Hey sometimes you have to take the hit for the team and that’s life
Your shop building needs insulation! That will make the propane last a long longer... although I suppose you're waiting for an inspection first? So much energy going out that roof...
Great seeing Leo figuring out that he can manipulate his environment with his blanket -- He now knows how things work!
All looks good. What does drive me crazy - Trent uses the word “ran” - grammatically it should be “run” - you have run lines - I know this is such a small thing but you use this a lot when talking. 😂
We want more Brandon. A Brandon recognition video. He doesn’t get enough
In reality, the vlog is called Trent and Allie 😊
Are the dogbeds you get "Big Barker beds? They are made in the U.S. and have a lifetime warranty. They never go flat. They have a washable waterproof liner available. We LOVE them so I always let people know about them! ❤
You guys don’t need to be drama queens with your titles to lure people in..
👍
They do it practically every week. It’s too bad they don’t film different types of content even close to home out and the beautiful nature that they live in the build it’s just old and they aren’t getting worse and worse with the titles to get attention and it’s just so boring. They could build a few days and film other content a few days.
Love your channel, promote price targets.
Over a year ago my wife of 53 years was told she had a terminal illness. That was bad news......she later passed away.
😶
My prayers and blessings are with you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@janievanhoozer8604 Thank you. As we get older and mature, we put things into perspective. I had to do that after what @Larisa198020 said below. I agree with her totally.
Yes that is bad news. I lost my Daughter to cancer its devastating.thoughts are with you.
You are 100% correct. These folks have it so good they don’t recognize true bad news. PLEASE Stop those titles please. They demean you and your channel
Love your videos 💕
I might suggest next year thinking about getting a back tank on those snowing days the truck can’t get to you guys! Also might try plowing more space around your house & garage so the snow isn’t backed up on the house & garage ! Just a thought ! Prayers you don’t run out fuel ! I admire you all of you! You do amazing things!
Trent, please, it is for the most part "RUN" .....
I know...he says ran all the time. Drives me nuts.
-23 C is a fairly average winter day where i from. -55 for a good half dozen days is normal. But on prairie we also get strong windy days. Some windy days are life threatening cold.
Can you heat the house more with firewood to offset the use of propane?
Good Idea
My neighbors bought a used propane truck.8000 gal capacity. And full licenses. All he has to do is hire a driver. In summer the refineries partly give propane away. Abd they flare off a lot. One load a few years back was FREE except for taxes. I don know close you are to a refinery.
Good morning everyone
Good morning ☕️
Have a great day! ❤
Wow! Dean is so wonderful and so glad he could get all of that hooked up and you have your heat soon for your man cave. Our weather here in Idaho has been crazy as well, more and more dang snow, this winter has been worse than last winter. Have a great day, stay safe and happy, sending love and hugs, adios!! 🤗😍👋👍🙏💜💜💜💜
Hi! Puppies, you guys are so sweet in the bed together. Leka following Trent..... thinking about climbing the ladder 🙀😂🐕🐕🙋♀️🌞
I saw that too, her eyes: "hm, a bit steeper than the other one..."
🤗
We have a black lowers, creamy white uppers with black aluminum door inserts and a darkish ceiling in our van and it’s so cozy. Highly recommend!
No matter the bad news...... Baby Leo playing peekaboo made me smile!! ♥ Love your family. 🤗 #davesandersstepdaughter
Image if everyone that watches this goes to Google Maps and leave Mountain Made Vans 5 stars. That would definitely give trent and allie's business a boost and might make their day.
i know its to late for you and myself. but i was told by a man that live in Wisconsin that he dug his well then he poured is garage slab and his well is inside. so he don't have to worry about it freezing. as long as the inside of the house dont freeze.
Yeah, the "bad news" thing is getting old with all the channels.
👍
along with all the unidentified flying object stuff all the channels are now picking up. lol
👍
Yep
Facts. 👍🏻
Love the new opening icons.
I sent you 3 emails a few months ago inquiring about builds and prices but never heard back. You might want to check your spam/junk folder. I gave up after 3 tries
Most of all residential homes that run on propane is 1/2 of a psi. 11-12” WC.
I've followed you guys for years.. You kinda become like family. I was so worried when I saw your headline.. I immediately Thought of Trents Grandparents or the baby or your family.. Not cool. Love you guys. And I'm so glad you are all ok. There is so much "real" bad news out there.. Just wish you wouldn't tease that something bad has happened to get people to watch. 😣
maybe change out the garage and apartment over to a different propane tank, one on its own... i would think that would be the best way to handle it. keep the house on its own tank, remember, back up to the back up... hehehe. thanks for sharing.
Great mind…
I love the new intro!!
Great progress! Little by little! Have a WONDERFUL Week! C U Friday
