Clearness of speech, particularly stands out in this episode, you can really see the amount of work Chris has done to improve his speaking, his delivery and his idea communication.
Interesting all the hate comments, all though I don’t connect with all his ideas or perspectives it’s interesting to hear a persons life and stories especially someone who lives a life that many will never experience. Diversity of guest and views is awesome. Good listen chris!
Dan Bilzerian is legendary for receiving the most haters, trolls, and keyboard rangers commenting on every single video he is on or every single podcast no matter what he says or what he does. The hate for this man is unbelievable
Yea it's weird, I don't follow Dan Bilzerian but i gave this a listen on Spotify and thought he gave some good advice and had some interesting points. Then i checked this TH-cam video and see 4.8k likes, 2.2k dislikes and tons of hate comments. People need to learn to understand that nobody is perfect and just because you don't like someone it doesn't mean you can't learn something from them.
If you can’t get some kind of perspective from this interview, you’re dense. You don’t have to like or agree with him, but he’s got a lot to say, it’s your job to choose what to take from it. There’s some good bits of wisdom to take from a guy who’s telling you that hedonism and money are ultimately unfulfilling.
Video summary. Not a trust fund kid Made my own money with an addiction/vice ( Gambling) got more addictions. Got famous from the addiction. Sleeping with alot of women doesn't make you happy. Weed company.
He never made his money playing cards. His dad funneled his clients money to him and the gambling was part of a front. Expect the fbi to visit him soon 😮
Dan Bilzerian's journey is like a real-life social experiment on hedonism and wealth. It's fascinating to see someone push the boundaries of modern indulgence and then reflect on what truly matters after living the ultimate 'dream' life. Whether you agree with his lifestyle or not, there's a lot to learn from his experiences-especially how he navigates the highs and lows. This video dives deep into the reality behind the Instagram persona, and it's intriguing to see the man behind the myth. 🔥
Him writing his book is nothing like the average wage slave job which involves braindead following of instructions, not creating anything unique and new of value.
I swear to god, so fucking out of touch. Having the freedom to just dedicate all your time to writing a book is something that so many people dream of but won't be able to achieve.
dude has never had a real job. he's just been living off daddy's money all these years and using that to get laid. he's miserable because he's never had responsibilities he's just being a 12 year old
It’s not exactly beating addiction if you go back to it. Beating an addiction is a life time of work that few of us actually succeed. There are no solutions only tradeoffs, that’s why it’s so difficult and we fall back into them often.
100% its beating addiction. addiction is just compulsive. if you quit daily use of marijuana but indulge if use every other week or whatever you beat addiction....you beat the compulsive feeling to smoke everyday. not being addicted to something doesnt mean youre never allowed to do it again
Sounds like a guy searching for something. The words that come to mind: Purpose and Fulfillment. He chose a life of purposelessness and now is looking back on it trying to figure out how to make something of it and turn himself around. Picking up women is probably the only skill he could see as valuable from his hedonism experiences. Fwiw, I think his advice there is actually really good. What he struggles with is figuring out how to apply what he learned to people who aren’t worth millions. When Chris pressed him on the social proof/lifestyle setup, he didn’t have an answer on how any regular guys could do it. So really his book is most useful for very rich guys who want to make dating easy.
A perfect example of what happens when you go to far down the hedonistic rabbit hole. There is ZERO chance this guy will ever change. It's like asking a porn star to become a nun, never gonna happen.
Dan - you are a man who speaks with honesty and conviction, and people listen when you do. With your maturity and understanding of the current situation, your voice has the power to help bring an end to the suffering we see today. As Christians, we are called to stand for peace and love, just as Jesus taught. It is heartbreaking to acknowledge that many have lived in conditions akin to concentration camps for decades-long before the events of October 2023. I urge you to reflect on the story of Khaled Nabhan, a man whose experiences represent the “soul of my soul.” His story is a stark reminder of the humanity at the heart of this crisis. I have heard you speak several times, and I believe in your ability to make a difference. Please continue to use your platform to advocate for justice and compassion. Together, we can work toward a future of peace.
This guy is on a journey. During the 80's and 90's, whilst being nothing like this guy's success, I made great money, 3 houses...London, Worcestershire, France. I had the cars, suits, I lifted weights. Women were just easy, I didn't have to chase, they just came to me. I was at my best...but beginning in the late 90's to think that there's more than this. I stay healthy but I gave up my career, I've sold up in the UK and moved to France. I have female friends but no "relationship ". When you live the life, face it, the women are hoes, they want the lifestyle. I've seen guys who's wife just left when they lost there job or the business hit the rocks. Now I live a country life...friends, country sports, nice restaurants, studying, travelling. I'm even dipping a toe into Christianity. It's peaceful.
Really love this podcast, thanks Chris. 25 year old business owner and it’s time to level up. Most the comments are just haters working a 9-5 who don’t understand that you can level up no matter where you start. Instead of taking that lunch go for a run and make a smoothie.
This is such a valuable interview because it shows what happens when you sell your soul. You become an empty husk of an individual who has a mullet in his 40s. Least interesting guy on earth
Mad that he is rich and seeking validation? Every human strives and wishes to be rich and all human one way or another seek validation. He is just sharing "his" journey and perspective.
I respect that if you get a chance to do a pod with a huge celebrity then it will be hard to turn down... but you, your content and I hope your audience is so far above this Chris
Listen, we need to stop pitting men against women, women against men. We are different and equal...I am a very loving women who reciprocates and loves to serve a man (self-sufficient as well) and it blows my mind that Dan feels chivalry makes a man weak... it shows confidence and class.
I agree 100%. And I got the feeling he’s talking about young women (18-25 year olds). Once we age and have more life experience, our values change. The whole time I was listening to what he thought about what women want, most of it I could relate to when I was 20…not now.
Well handled conversation. I admire Chris’s way of keeping the conversation flowing while keeping his cool. People will find this episode triggering, but it is just another interesting personality in the world, that Chris got a hold of. Dissect it in your own way. Take away what you want and what you can use to benefit yourself and your outlook on life. Another episode from Chris and his insightful questions and I’m grateful for that.
Listening to this with as much of an open mind as possible. The world is an interesting place, that people exist like this guy and that there are also people that look up to him.
He doesn't strike me as a person who has, either in the past or present, had any intention of humbling himself, learning or growing, which is probably why he doesn't seem to have emotionally aged beyond age 16. If nothing else, this interview is a great example of how you can have an incredibly cool and interesting life on paper, and it can all be for naught if you aren't actually living it from a place of authenticity.
That’s exactly what kept him from passing buds class for the navy seals. He went through training twice and they flunked his ass because of his ego, attitude and the way he carried out some training tasks. That’s literally not my own personal opinion, that is straight from the military records.
Thank you, it was interesting. I liked how Dan was able to interpret the mechanism of the relationship between a guy and a girl in simple words. For example, about efforts to achieve a result, countersignaling - it was new to me.
Lost me about the part where he was trying to preach he learned anything, but he still was bragging about having an 18 year old serving all his needs when he's a 40 something year old. Whatever man, you sound like you deserve pity, not accolades.
@adamcraig1468 Two things imho, when a man goes for a MUCH younger woman, what it tells me about him is that he's intimidated by those that are his peers, and would prefer someone less mature they can manipulate. The other that he spent so much of the episode trying to profess personal growth, but used most of it just falling back on the same shallow accomplishments.
@francleighscarlett hate to break it to you but most women in there 20s are more attractive than women in their 40s. So there's nothing wrong with it but I also wouldn't want to live his lifestyle where you would be so over stimulated
“I was famous for 12 years in every country and every part of the world” - how the hell have I never heard of this guy before? I guess we travel in different circles. 😂
To focus on Chris for a moment,- It can’t be easy to reel in top shelf guests every show. Chris realized that he wasn’t the greatest guest right off the bat, but still remained professional. He concluded the interview by showing him common courtesy and respect. Chris’ willingness to step outside his comfort zone and interview people he may not be aligned with philosophically, only widens his personal understanding and knowledge. Interviewing someone who is 100% aligned with his own beliefs would be easy for him. I, for one, praise his diversity of guests. It only deepens his skillset and repertoire.
First episode I didn't finish. The guest tried to convey humility but it is very obvious he is extremely prideful. Love your show, sad to have my first unfinished episode. Much love.
This guy plays the guy he wishes to be and says controversial things because he’s floundering and out of money. That’s what happens when you’re immoral and do t have a bigger goal. Big house and girls won’t cut it.
He finished hell week twice but they kicked him out 3 days before graduation because of his personality. Thats from Navy SEAL Don Shippley himself. Dan did hell week twice that alone deserves respect.
Being PICKY is 100% how you have to be. Confidence is just comfort and being relaxed. Social pressure is just like any pressure. It the meaning you give it. Takes discipline at first...
I'm happy to see this guy finally matured mentally and emotionally. if nothing else, he's just a decent example to the other immature boys who were trying to follow a similar path he was on not too long ago. unless this I also another publicly stunt and a new way for him to make money....which I don't really feel he is, but crazier things have happened so who knows.
I feel like some of these videos are being rushed. The F-bomb censorship was inconsistent. If you're going to censor one, you have to be diligent to censor them all. L for whoever did the editing on this.
Nah nah I think it’s completely intentional, just working around TH-cam’s regulations of the frequency of swearing. Noticed it myself but didn’t bother me personally
Really good!. As a woman, I agree with him about the dating advice / relationship lessons. Don’t shoot the messenger. Listen to where he is at now and listen to the message.. I am not religious but 'He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone'.... I don't agree with 100% of what he says... I live in the Baltics - one parent is the care taker, another a bread winner (gender isn't the main criteria in that equation)... There are lessons to be had in this episode... maybe all roads Do lead to Rome ... Only question I have is if Marriage is a financial stressor on the relationship, then what future financial security can the care take have if the bread winner dies or leaves at 50? Without security a care taker is destined / doomed to be a bread winner
My opinion of your podcast just took a step back for giving this guy a platform. This guest is deluding himself if he thinks he has made a recovery or is making strides in self improvement. He still reeks of arrogance. This is not what a healthy, in control, and responsible man looks like.
we talk to everyone!!! esp if they seem to b struggingg..i get most comments but youre miissing the bigger point that chris and people like lex are doing...do better
Chris just bragged earlier in the week that he turns down guests that could get a lot of views but not in alignment with the show…then he airs this one two days later 😂😂😂
“Giving him a platform” lol you know he has tens on millions of IG followers and could hit millions on subs on YT within 24H of dropping a channel right ?
This guy is one of the most saddest internet personalities and persons i've ever seen... Tried it for 10 minutes. But cant continue watching this joke.
"Yeah, I got evicted and ran my company into the ground but the real reason I stopped doing all that fun stuff is because I want to be a better person"
That’s why most of the people in comment section are gonna have Average life & average reactions because they just want to judge rather than focusing on listening to someone who might be spitting the facts.
Venture Capitalists and women use the same shortcut. VCs shortcut decision making by viewing whether the founder is Ivy League educated or not. It solves most problems for VCs. Women shortcut decision making by viewing whether other hot women have already chosen a guy. It solves most problems for women.
If my Dad stole hundreds of millions and after the government couldn't find it I suddenly became wealthy from playing poker and professional poker players said that I wasn't that good...I'd probably keep a low profile. Just sayin'.

“I was famous for 12 years in every country and every part of the world” - how the hell have I never heard of this guy before? I guess we travel in different circles. 😂
he tried to be the next playboy hefner.
To focus on Chris for a moment,-
It can’t be easy to reel in top shelf guests every show.
Much love.

Surprisingly insightful episode - awesome production values !
This guy plays the guy he wishes to be and says controversial things because he’s floundering and out of money. That’s what happens when you’re immoral and do t have a bigger goal. Big house and girls won’t cut it.
Good Episode . Crazy Guest, but always cool to get perspective for people who have lived bizare lives
His fake navy seal story was cringerworthy.
He finished hell week twice but they kicked him out 3 days before graduation because of his personality. Thats from Navy SEAL Don Shippley himself. Dan did hell week twice that alone deserves respect.
What class did you graduate from?
@@Gringosaurus Finishing hell week takes some doing; so does getting kicked out.

Great episode ignore negative comments
Like Solomon, Dan figured out, being at the top, having tried everything... "It's all vanity"
Appreciate it, Dan
never marry a boss girl, never work for a boss girl, have a better life
Woah l0ts of hate and envious comments on Dan. I think he is sharing lots of reminders and jewels on this interview.

@@theboz2 He gives his opinion
How does he reek of arrogance?
Who are you think others should or should not allow a person to speak their personal truth on a platform? That's arrogant.

"but i'm worth 375 million dollars"
That’s why most of the people in comment section are gonna have Average life & average reactions because they just want to judge rather than focusing on listening to someone who might be spitting the facts.
He didnt mention laundering his fathers stolen money
Venture Capitalists and women use the same shortcut.
VCs shortcut decision making by viewing whether the founder is Ivy League educated or not. It solves most problems for VCs.
Women shortcut decision making by viewing whether other hot women have already chosen a guy. It solves most problems for women.
If my Dad stole hundreds of millions and after the government couldn't find it I suddenly became wealthy from playing poker and professional poker players said that I wasn't that good...I'd probably keep a low profile. Just sayin'.
