Personally, I wouldn't go any larger than a 20 inch rim for a 35 inch tire, but I'd prefer a 17 or 18 inch rim. Honestly, the stock 10th gen wheels don't look too bad until the center caps decide to fly off while driving, lol.

On a mud or off-road truck I’d put Larry’s wheels on it, for a daily that doesn’t see mud or gravel I’d go with big rim very little tire

20 inch wheels are about as big as you want to go on a 35 especially off roading, overlanding etc. You cant air down a 35 on a 26 inch wheel, you won't have any flex, can't increase your surface area on the tires and get a decent enough bite, so you are limited on what you can do and where you can go if you have 35s on a 22 or bigger. If you are going to run 26's then 44's would be good, 48's would be even better. Back to the 35's 20 inch wheels are good, but 18s are even better.

So if the tires all the same size in height does the height of the truck change with larger wheels like from a 17 in rim to a 22 in rim?
Yes, bigger wheels will increase ground clearance always. As long as the tire size stays the same it will sit alittle higher.

You can only get the mud grapps on 22 with 37 or 40
I wouldn’t exceed 18in on a 35 unless I absolutely had to. Newer trucks unfortunately require 20’s and larger when you lift them… I’d much prefer to step DOWN in wheel size

As for the second, third and fourth set: If your tire of choice is considerably LESS THAN TWICE the diameter of your rim of choice - your truck / SUV going to ride like a tank. These low-profile tires (in 'my' opinion) should NOT be equipped with an aggressive 'Mud-Terrain' type tread and therefore should NOT be marketed as a choice for extreme and challenging off-road conditions. But hey - if you can't resist the overwhelming desire to waste a lot of your hard-earned money on these Brodozers, I guess that's YOUR prerogative.
"BRODOZER" :
A truck or SUV of some sort that is lifted beyond necessity with 20″+ rims but off road tires. It usually has a nice paint job -blinged-up, loud-piped and driven obnoxiously and has never been off-road.
For those of you who insist on embracing the 'Bro-Dozer Tire' culture, please know this:
Your tire / wheel assemblies require the use of Adhesive Wheel Weights to balance their ridiculously HEAVY, obscenely POSITIVE-OFFSETS.
When you bring your nightmare of choice in for a Tire Rotation & Balance, Flat Repair(s) or especially for NEW Bro-Dozers - please realize that these adhesive wheel weight DO NOT ADHERE to the encrusted mud, brake dust and grease you were too lazy to pressure-wash off BEFORE you requested service.
NO Tire/Service Technician in their right mind enjoys dead-lifting a 100-130 pound, off-centered tire/rim assembly onto a balancing machine - and then hopelessly attempting to apply up to 1 lb. of adhesive tape weights onto the rim that's supporting your filthy, irregularly-worn tires that are slathered with tire dressing applied over the impregnated dirt/grease/brake you were too lazy to actually hand-scrub off of your outer sidewall.
Now - most importantly:
Your low-profile Bro-Dozer M/T's are absolutely WORTHLESS in the 'M'ud - and are much more suited to a paved 'T'errain. Sure - you're gonna look cool pulling a heavy trailer on the freeway, or into the hard-packed jobsite - But end up the fool when you're buried to the frame in mud, sand & snow.
Chrome 14 or 16 wides would look sick on any of the trucks🥵
