I started singing "Don't rock the boat" when Lincoln knocked over his display and two seconds later, Dave sung the same thing. :D
Nice game, neat and quick playing! Great video as always :D
To answer Nikki's question 20:30 A pack (group) of tortoise are called:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :D
- That's easy!
UPDATE: Oh never mind, Kevin came up with the answer a bit later hahaha :D
Cheers ! :D
Nice game. You are the reason I bought games like Arboretum, Port Royal, Codenames, Bohnanza, Hanabi, etc. You inspire us with your great show.
A group of tortoises is called a "creep". You guys were right, it's an odd one!
Another nice video !!! You are all amazing !!. My greetings and my love of Greece !!
Wonderful, thank you guys!
There is another game that incorporates the split mechanic called Skyward. I recommend you all play it because it seems deceptively simple but can be made strategic by how you split the cards and daisy chain bonuses.
Nikki could have won with 42 points, that is if she'd have taken the two rhinos instead of the two 1s (tortoise and tiger) 27:48 That way she'd have had 3 rhinos, getting her to a total of 41 points for the animals + 1 point for the food token, getting her total to 42. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
A group of tortoise is called a "Creep".
My favorite "I split you choose"
A group of turtles is apparently called a bale. But you could use herd.
Fun family game
Reminds me of Zooloretto.
Don't know why, but I've got a sense of deja-vu...
Was Kevin a producer on the former G4 show X-Play? He looks damn familiar but perhaps I'm just confusing my Kevins. :)
It had been gnawing away at me for a while so I appreciate the confirmation Lincoln.
Maybe Lincoln is thinking of Piece of Cake
I don't think so. I know I have never played the game, although I am looking at a copy of New York Slice right now so I will be playing a version of it soon. I still don't recall what game I was thinking of.
He seems to indicate the one he was thinking of wasn't an "I split. You choose." style game. Doesn't Piece of Cake use that mechanism?
A Bale?
Yup
Shouldn't Nikki have won? Lincoln had a pair of elephants that he was counting in his total and no one noticed...
play stone age! please!
