You're all brillant but Aaron has a special place in my heart! Keep up with the good work! Cheers from Italy!

"At the end of the game, you may select one room card which was discarded during the game and exchange it with any room card on your home board (including an empty room)."

Please make more videos like this. Easy but amazing games, simple rules easy to follow.

It seems as if Aaron could have switched out his empty room using the Supplier resource card after all, since the rules state clearly that you can switch a discarded card with "any room card on your home board (including an empty room)". I don't think that change would have given him the points he needed to win, but it was a shame that the rules for the drill (which involve switching an empty room into the supply - an illegal move) were applied to the Supplier card (an endgame bonus-type card) unnecessarily. What a fun, light game and enjoyable play-through though! I enjoyed watching y'all play. Thanks for the upload!

I agree most heartily! They should make some errata about that!

Picked this up after Essen last year, it's a lovely quick little game, so happy to see it finally getting attention lately!

I'm hoping for an expansion that includes extreme and rare rooms. These could include an indoor pool, bowling alley, theater, secret passage ways (decor items to let you connect rooms that aren't positioned side by side), nursery, widows walk (for an additional level), dining rooms, conservatory, home gym, ballroom, and whatnot. Also, additional decor items like a pet bed, kitchen aide mixer, armoire, lawn ornaments (similar function to the treehouse), exercise bike, etc.
I think this would help mix the game up and give a more dreamlike feel to the homes. It would also make them feel more unique. I think the player boards should also be designed so each looks different. They should have the same setup, but different colors and styles (ultra modern, craftsman, Victorian, colonial, Tudor, etc.)

Games with Set Mechanic requires more mechanics to allow more kind of cards. For sushi go, they have the menu mechanic. For this game, I don't know, maybe more space. The secret passage way is interesting though. I'm thinking about a Garden Expansion. You gain another board for the garden, with a tree to allow an addition space upward (+ score for kids room?). And to add more depth, rooms should have more requirement and mechanics to play. Like BBQ requires kitchen in the same floor. Pool takes both first floor and basement spaces but allow you to add Party characters.

The only two things I think could be improved would be...
    1. The crappy dead zone Arron had in his basement, SHOULD be allowed to be swapped out by those side board cards. Technically it IS still a room!
    2. A list in the box of all the hidden kids’ locations is important and a second tie breaker would be nice, as most games have.
Thanks for the play thru! It was nice to see the original 4 back in the saddle again! Happy Gaming!

Bought it at Essen last year and we enjoy playing it. I do hope they make an expansion for it with some new rooms and other cards to give the game some more playing lenght. All will depend on how they game sells i guess

they could have holiday rooms too. I knowsome people who decorate for every holiday and it would be a cute expansion.

Great Idea! 1 expansion to cover all the most popular holidays! (There is now at least 3 in December)

I think everyone commented on the fact they are not building THEIR dream home. I would agree. Maybe if there was system were you create condition of your dream home in secret before it starts then try to met that goal by games end. It also reminds me of Kingdomino, which I think I'd prefer.

I think hidden goals are part of the expansion :)

The Supplier card could have saved Aaron, by ridding him of the empty room. I don’t think he had it, but I feel better now knowing that there is a way to recover from being stuck with an empty room! Maybe in the expansion, there might be another card there to help as well! The more I watch it played, the more I like it!

One thing I've enjoyed has been the nature of this a gateway game for a range of audience allowing Younger players and non-gamers to learn about efficiencies and optimisation in a short, easy to learn manner readying them for more complicated games. I would love to see a slightly larger deck for each type of card so every game you remove say 10 cards and no game plays the same. What do you think? Has anyone played the treehouse game for comparison?

Could you please play CENTURY:SPICE ROAD. Seems to be one of the best games in 2017.

In original version this game is called "Little House", not "Dream House" that's probably why there are no really over-the-top rooms. I'm not sure why title was changed into "Dream House" for English localisation, but that fact indeed somewhat changed overall theme of the game.

I have a question... not regard this game specifically.
I was wondering about the flow of play in your games, and since there's obviously some material edited at the end of recording, I asked myself: how much of the original footage is cut regarding analysis paralysis between player's rounds?
Or do you guys simply have and agreement for delays or just play in a good speed?

BoardGameGeekTV I thank you! I've been watching you guys for a while now, not only to get to know new games, but for entertainment since you are a fun and friendly group. the reviews at the end of the game are also great. It's inspiring in many aspect, as a player and as a group.
      great job! thanks!

Hi, am developing a card game incorporating the application of game theory to refugee allocation. The character cards will have a say as to which player they go to through the use of coloured indicator bars. Where can I send a review copy to? Thank you

Aaron could have switched a bedroom for a kitchen on the 1st floor for a net gain of 2 points
