How do you turn on the feature? I can get to the leaf icon but tapping it doesn’t do anything. It says I can adjust it in settings, siri-search, but everything there is already toggle on. Thanks

I always use Picture This for plant identification but to use it for free, every time you have to find the really obscure cancel button which takes time but it is really accurate. At least using this method I can take a few pictures and identify them later on which I can't do with Picture This.
ok no it does not identify any of my flowers or plants in most of my pics as plants. I think i figured out why. not all my pics are really close like the ones you are showing. plus the ones that it did offer the option were all wrong. maybe it has to do a lot more guessing than plantnet does? not sure will use it from time to time and see if it gets better.

Hey mshark, the thing is it isn't as reliable. Just snapping the photo gives you a better chance to get the popup to appear PLUS you can get the best angle which results in a better chance of correctly identifying the plant. Besides that, there are also other ways of doing this. Some people use other camera apps which lets you then jump into Photos and it also works with screenshots if you see it online just in the screenshot editor before you can delete it.

Who knew! I grew it just from a piece that fell off my grandmothers and she always called it a Christmas cactus. Told me when to stop watering it so it blooms right at Christmas. Im certainly no horticulturist!

You are like all the other person who are supposedly trying to teach others how to do something but you totally fail becayse you are more interested in yacking and seeing yourself on youtube and talking so fast and jumping from screne shot so fast and not really showing what you are doing and not too many people can follow you and i for one didnt learn a thing except how fast you can talk and how smart you think you are and how good looking you are. Sorry to have to be honest.
It's a Shame Visual Lookup is Geo-Locked to the US. It honestly doesn't make any sense to do that.
We grow mostly weeds so a global view is fine.

It only shows up on photos where Look Up is an option. So most photos won't have this.Just photos of animals, landmarks, plants, etc

At 4:53 you can see that you don’t even need to take a photo. There’s a flower sign in the live view, just press it

It’s working in Germany but I have set my device to English. That mix of settings looks like to deactivate the feature.

This does pretty accurate identification of wildflowers, too. I'd say it was about 90% accurate of prairie wildflowers in my area.
