- I sold all my modern Pokemon Cards to achieve my goal of collecting every Lv. X Pokemon Card (English and non-promos). This is the generation of Pokemon that I grew up with, so these cards hold a lot of nostalgia for me. This video documents my progress over the past few months, collecting every Lv. X card. So sick, the lv. X are definitely superior to all the modern cards, reminds me of my childhood sm. I used to have a lot of lv. X found some of them but Ik I had more I wish I could find them. Might have to order more cuz of vids like these every lv. X was my childhood dream lol. I’d put the cards in a binder though, it’d look so sick with all of them lined up

man ive been trying to get my hands on more psa 8-9 level xs but i just cant afford to rn, tempted to sell off the rest of my collection to do the same. I grew up on this gen, i had most of the level x cards over time but i was young and dumb. traded them into a local card shop when i was like 12-13 for some booster packs and tins. Ill be working on this collection for myself soon enough
That's so sad to hear :'( if they were mine I probably would have lost or traded them to some dumbasses somehow xD
I had probably 20 different lvl x cards I had collected as they released and I traded with other kids for, then in a stupid move I traded away most of those cards for 1 stupid ultra rare

Could be worst I glued my entire collection with my uncle's collection of first edition cards he gave me onto a poster board .....
Just finished my full lvx collecting about a month ago. Amazing cards to find and super excited to finally have them all

Back in the day My friend got a rayquaza lvl x from his cousin and I remember I wanted to have it so bad. I begged him the whole day in school xD such a great memory :)
Awesome video! Giratina LV. X was always my favorite card growing up.
These are tied with prime for my second favorite 1st is still gold star
Do you think they're safer how they are now in toploaders or would a side loading binder be better?
I personally prefer toploaders, I’ll have to try a binder someday though. However the plan is eventually to get all of them graded at PSA in the future.

I wouldn't say a card being shipped within a toploader and two more toploaders either side of it is "poor shipping" lol. Just enjoy the cards, arrived fine.
Cool display anyway. Its a bit after my time as I prefer the "ex" series but might consider picking these up too.
I was super into Pokémon about 12-13 years ago and bought cards as recently as 3 or so years ago. I still have my entire collection and a lot of cards that came out in my era. I remember when Lv. X cards first came out. I personally thought the OG ex predecessors were the best and still are. Too many “secret rare, full art, variant” mumbo jumbo these days imo.

These lv.x cards are the most perfect of them all. Recently i started buying the ones i always wanted to have. Such a beautiful and nostalgic card. At the moment i have only 5🤣. Congrats on the achievement

I have the Torerra. I just found out how much this stuff was worth. I had all of these. I had the charizard and rayquaza 2009 packs…I threw them all away when I was 16…
You miss the Japanese exclusive promo cards (garchomp, heatran, ...)
Very cool but you are still missing a lot of promo version for example giratina, mewtwo and rhyperior I think its worth having all at this point

Crazy collection I recently collected 26/29 primes but now I’m starting to go for ex cards I’d also like to one day go for Lv.X cards as well

I got 24 of dem. luckily enough i snagged Leafeon and Glaceon for 40€ each. Everytime i see dem on sale or for Trade im going down on them.

what pack are these from?
They first appeared in the Diamond & Pearl expansion and made their final in-set appearance in the Arceus expansion. These are over 12 years old
