  • Former President Olusegun Obasanjo launched his autobiography ‘My Watch’ with the Royal African Society on Wednesday 11 February 2015, at the Royal Society of Medicine in London. The Former President and Richard Dowden discussed his life in service from his time as the country’s military ruler in 1976 to his presidency which ended in 2007. This event launched the former president’s explosive autobiography which is currently banned in Nigeria as the country prepares for a crucial and closely fought presidential election.

What is interesting is how the audience is laughing at Obasanjo's entertaining stupidity.

I loved this, but as an observation, the lady interviewer is a little bit 'touchy', just touching the old man at any interval but unlike the male counterpart, just so professional. Overall performance was good, Gen Obasanjo (Rtd) is just too down to earth.

This Sudanese lady butchered the questions and didn't give Obasanjo time to address some key issues. She over estimated her importance. Obasanjo could have been given more time for the Q&A. Obasanjo is an absolute germ of a leader and one that history will judge kindly as a trend setter for Nigeria and African leaders. Well Done Sir. May the good lord give us more leaders like you! I am getting that book for sure! Ban In Nigeria or Not. Jonathan Was one of the worst things to ever happen to our nation and we are overjoyed that he is gone!!

This Obasanjo is now old hoping to be taken care of by the youth but the youth are here acting like a milk sucking baby who refused to grow up and look after its grandfather.....so therefore this grandfather continue to take from the supposed inheritance of the youth to take care of themselves and feed the youth with peanuts.....there is nothing this man can do for Nigeria anymore all is needed now is to sit him down and nurture him and show him how he was supposed to run the country and that alone will make him weep and regret all his misdeeds and respect the youth.....u don't beg for power u take it by force when necessary...in this case it's more than necessary for the Nigerian youth to do so.......Pls let's stop showing our weakness to this old men....that's why they feel they are smart.....if after bsc and master's degree and other higher degrees acquired by todays Nigeria youths we are not smarter than this old men then we are all fools
