@@atifmanzoor63 It really depends on the type of person doing the juicing, and what their priorities are. Ultimately yield and juice quality is the best objective measure, but some people will be less likely to juice if the cleanup takes too long.
@@euJUICERScom is it true that the vertical juicers clog up a lot with celery because the juicing screen gets clogged up and it can crack the juicing parts
@@atifmanzoor63 Typically the juicing screen doesn't get clogged. The pulp outlet is far more likely to be clogged with celery, because the pulp putlet in a vertical is very small and the celery fibers can form a ball. That is why we recommend, when using a vertical, to always cut the celery into small segments. The smaller fibers pass more easily through the pulp outlet.
I juice a lot of leafy greens with cucumber and celery. Spinach and parsley and dandelion and kale along with swiss chard and I find the horizontal is better. But I do love my vertical Omega Juicer too.

Hi buddy! Can you make olive oil with the sana? And...isn't it possible to make veggie milk with a vertical juicer?like almond, oatmilk, or rice milk? I'm struggling so much to choose one!...Been thru Kuvings, Hurom, Omega, now the Sana........Can't choose one!
Olive oil isn't possible with a horizontal juicer, even with the oil extractor attachment. It needs specialized pressing equipment. For sure you can make nut milk in a vertical, as long as it has a tap which can be closed. All the juicers you listed are quality brands, and should perform well.
I wonder Sana 828..How does it work with green leafy products separately I would like to see it. I want to get horizontal since I need to do lots of roots and greens but the yield in 707 horizontal is so little in comparison with Sana 727/828 or Angel.
Thank you for this video. Have been trying to use a cheap (around 100€) vertical juicer and I'm tired of the jamming. I've decided to splurge a little for a more efficient model. This video has definitely helped me make up my mind : I will go for a horizontal one for versatility, ease to clean and less prepping and jamming. I have a question : Do you know the equivalence between EU models and US models for juicers? For example omega juicers don't have the same names in the US and in France, but most reviews and tests are US based, so hard to know which French model they're talking about... Thank you Dan!
Some models vary only slightly in number with Omega, and the number is the same for many models. For example, the Omega MMV700 is called the MMV702 in Europe, while their horizontal juicers use the same numbering system. There are a few equivalencies with Sana juicers. The VSJ843 is also the Sana 808 in Europe, and the NC800 is the Sana 606. Thank you for your kind words.
Most juicers will make oat milk, but it's easier in a vertical juicer. The Sana 828 in this video is a good choice, as well as the verticals from Kuvings, Hurom, or Omega.
I noticed you keeping the cap closed and allowed the juice to collect and not go immediately into the cup. Does this serve a purpose, or was it done for dramatic effect for the video?
Yes you are right. We just did it to have the shot of juice coming out,and to show its possible to mix ingredients in the juicer itself. Normally it is best to keep the juice tap open for the best results unless you want to mix ingredients, or for things like nut milks where the soaked nuts need to come into contact with water.
The vertical will typically get a little more yield, but the celery must be cut into small pieces or it will jam. The horizontal is much easier with celery. We did a video about it here: th-cam.com/video/N9fYWQI3LEI/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for the comment. I was just referring to the juicers we offer at EUJuicers. We haven't yet found a decent quality lower cost vertical to offer. But you're right - in the overall market, there are far more vertical juicers out there, and most of them are much cheaper than horizontals.
It depends on the produce. We only do one run of the produce in our testing and personal use, but something with a high water content like citrus or celery could give you a bit more juice. Since the pulp is mostly fiber at that point, it could be easier to help move it through the juicer with a carrot.
@@euJUICERScom that was fast, thanks. :) Could you advise me on some models which might fit me needs? I dont mind it is horizontal or vertical, but I want something I can use for juicing, nut butters, seed pastes(like tahini/flaxseed paste). Perhaps dedicated machines will prove better? Please give your input. :)
@@Drawingb The tricky part will be seed pastes. You'll most likely need to use a blender for that, or at least a strong food processor, as the seeds are too small to effectively process in a juicer with a homogenizing screen. If you're just going to make juice, a vertical is probably the better choice as it will get a little better yield. But if you're going to be making nut butters and using the homogenizing functions, then the horizontal is probably the better choice. Assuming you want to make nut butters and the like, I would recommend the following two models: 1) Sana 707 - The horizontal featured in this video and the one I personally purchased 5 years ago. It will get slighly lower juice yield but has more flexibility and is built like a tank. This video shows a lot of the things it can process: th-cam.com/video/3EccGzabyS8/w-d-xo.html Also, there is an optional oil extractor for it which you may find interesting. 2) Omega MMV - A vertical with a big enough motor to handle homogenizing functions. It has a homogenizing and smoothie screen set as an optional extra, and does well with homogenizing functions. You can see my test of that here: th-cam.com/video/hyYtEse0mQo/w-d-xo.html
Most horizontal juicers which have a blank (homogenizing) screen can make sorbet very well. Some examples are Omega 8004, 8006, NC800, NC900, Sana 606, 707, and 727, and Vidia SJ002. All are excellent juicers.
I hear horizontals don't Juice leafy greens that well, if you did a comparison with just carrots, then one with leafy greens that may have been a better comparison.

That’s the quietest vertical juicer I’ve ever seen lol wow. Is this a European brand? I’m gonna return my vertical (super loud and too much work to clean) and get a nice quiet professional horizontal juicer today
The audio in our videos is edited after filming, to prevent any super loud sounds if you are listening with headphones. So the sound in the video doesn't necessarily reflect how loud they are in real life. However, both of these are are relatively quiet machines as they turn at a low rpm.
Good point. The horizontal is faster. A typical carrot/apple recipe takes about 2 minutes to clean the horizontal, and 3 minutes to clean the vertical.
Cleanup is similar - rinse the juicing parts and brush the screen. Horizontals are a little faster to clean because they are less complex and their juicing screens ase smaller. Depending on what I juice, the horizontal takes me about 2 minutes to clean while the vertical takes about 3 for a standard mouth vertical (like the 828) or 4-5 for a wide mouth vertical like a Kuvings or Omega MMV (because the screens are larger and the feeding tubes are more complex to clean).
