You didnt mention that the juice from the masticating (chewing) machine is better quality. Because it grinds the vegetables more, it extracts deeper from the material, getting more of the nourishing vitamins and minerals. You also, as seen, get a higher yield and waste nothing, which you do from the centrifugal machine. Note : To keep from not grinding those leaves that were left, you need to bundle them up and make sure they get pushed through.. You can make natural ice cream using the masticator. Freeze your fruits (you should cut the bananas and other large fruits before freezing them) and put them through and you'll get ice cream, without any chemicals or sugar. Try it and see . Make some banana/strawberry ice cream, etc. Delicious !
But how do I feel fine after juicing with a centrifugal juicer. I mean I juice once a day and blend once a day but still. I’m lead to believe fast juicers have no benefits.
I didn't even realize there were "types" of juicers outside of cheap or expensive. Now I'm ready for a slow juicer. That seems to give me more bang for my bucks. Thank you for your info.
Well, I have both kinds and have used at least five brands over the years...Champion, Acme, Breville, Omega, and another. First, by quickly ramming the vegetables and fruits down the Breville (on the left) juicer, you are going to miss a LOT of the juice. The way you are doing it is not, shall we say, "optimal". It is best to gently push the vegetable once it is in the chute. Let the juicer do the work instead of quickly forcing the vegetable. And the centrifugal juicer is not really designed for leafy green veggies. The masticating juicer is really great for leafy greens and softer veggies. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. I have always liked the Breville for root veggies and crisp/hard fruit like apples. The masticating juicers like Omega are great for wheat grass and spinach, etc. Got my first juicer in the '80's...(Champion) and have done juicers demos in health food stores. Both the juicers in this video are good...the masticating probably a little better because of low heat...In my experience, if done with patience, the juice yield is pretty close between the two kinds. But if you quickly force the fruits or veggies down the centrifugal juicer, you will get less juice. Take your time...enjoy the process. Cheers! :-)
I purchased the Confee juicer several years ago. I did not know that it was so much better at eliminating foam. I enjoyed watching your side-by-side example.
I am new to juicing and your video was perfect for anybody new. So many videos blow through explanations and demonstrations but your video was perfect in explaining everything. Thank you so much for this.
Wow! This is the first video I’ve watched that made me believe I could get better juice from a juicer than my vitamix blender. After spending so much on a Vitamix, I was bombarded with ads about juicers so I took that bait and was taken aback by the prices. They were just as much as my Vitamix and they only do one thing! So I continue to make juice with my Vitamix by adding a cup or so of water, blending the produce at high speed, and then straining the pulp. The Vitamix is known for a great liquified result. It can handle anything so I didn’t think I could possibly be missing anything until now. The Vitamix is probably just as good as the Breville for juice quality. The Vitamix will yield more juice and better color, but nothing like the masticating juicer. Great comparison video. Thank you!
I recently started juicing, first with my Vitamix doing celery juice. I then decided I was getting benefit and bought a good masticating horizontal auger juicer. Cost as much as my Vitamix (bought 16 years ago), but has a 15 year warranty, so ought to last like the Vitamix. Anyway, the taste and color of the celery juice from the juicer is just SO much better from the horizontal auger masticating juicer! And the pulp is drier. I can also do things like small quantity (1/2 cup) wellness shots with ginger, apple and lime, fresh to share with hubby using the juicer! For me, the juicing is helping with chronic pain, so the cost of the dedicated appliance well worth it to me.
I'm sold! I have a centrifugal and the difference you modeled is remarkable. Thank you for this excellent video and I loved your funky background music! Blessings to you beautiful soul!
Bro you are the KING😂😂😂. Am watching this in May 2023. Your review is the BEST, awesome, user experience. Most TH-camrs did their videos based on manufacturers features and specifications. Yours is ENDUSER-BASED. Am heading to shop to get cold-pressed / auger juicer. Thanks a heap.
Great job done there. I am impressed by the juice extracted by the masticating juicer. But I also noticed the pressure with which you pressed on the centrifugal juicer. With the centrifugal juicer, the more/less pressure you use on the pusher, the less/more juice and more/less waste extract you get. In all, I think the masticating juicer will still do the magic if it comes to juice quantity.
When you get 50% more juice by juicing the pulp from the fast machine...haha!! Great video! Gave me the information needed to finalize our juicer purchase.
This has renewed my interest in juicing. I had a centrifugal juicer, it was loud and the yield was always my biggest complaint. For the work it took to juice, you got almost no juice and it was pretty expensive to do on a regular basis, not to mention the juice didn't last more than a day. It was disgusting a day later. The foam was also very gross. I enjoyed the juices but it was just a headache. This has brought me back into the fold. I'll be purchasing a masticating juicer soon. Great video.
You did a great job with this vid! I’m not a fan of the high rpm juicers… this just proves it. Too wasteful. Imagine if you only had the high rpm one you’d be throwing Soo much juice away.
We have about 6 juicers. 3 high rpm and 3 slow. If we have time, we always use out slow juicers. We are a family of 6 and we need as much juice as possible. 😁 Every drop counts!! Now if we go on the road, or short on time, we use the others. But we keep the pulp for compost. 👍🏾
@CaribSunsations Wow on the 6 juicers! I use the pulp for stews/soups and salads! Nothing goes to waste. I want to try the pulp in sushi rolls next. If I decide to have a garden, I will put the pulp in the garden.
Just found this video. Excellent review. Just made up my mind. This was very informative.❣️❣️ loved the MUSIC. Made it fun. I watched/listened while working desk job 😂. I’m a follower now. Thank you 🙏
This is an excellent video. I purchased a Breville Juicer (centrifugal) about 8 years ago, cost $400. It was a gift to myself for my health. I still have it. I always had to extract the foam and your explanation helped me to understand what causes it. Also, I would end up straining the juice several times for best results to drink the it. Lastly, it had to be consumed within 24 hrs. I will now invest in the masticating juicer because the nutritional factors make this a wise investment. Thank you for this valuable information!
Wow, this is amazing. I have the lazy juicer.....2 as a matterof fact 🤣🤣, I'm strongly thinking of getting the masticating juicer after watching this. You gained a follower!
Gracias por la explicación, pensaba comprar una de centrífuga pero ahora que he visto la diferencia con esta con tu demostración prefiero la masticadora. 👍🏼👍🏼
i didn't know that much about fast or slow juicers, all i wanted was just a good juicer. A packaging in a slow juicer sold me on more nutrition etc even it being more expensive. now i am glad i chose the slow juicer over the fast cheaper one.
We had to get off the grid for a while. We did a lot of gardening and self sustaining during the pandemic. It was a great experience and we can't wait to share with all of you. We missed you all a lot.❤️
I haven't been getting your videos for years. I had to look up your channel to see if you were still around. That algorithm don't play. I'm glad I saw this video, I also have a Breville juicer & I notice the waste too. I will definitely get a slow one. Thank you
Thank so much for this side by side. comparison. Especially with the pulp comparison. Most. video l see or watch on YT? don't make such comparison. Best video so far.👏👏👏👏
Great review & demonstration !!! Really appreciate you taking time to go in depth. Definitely help inform me & make a decision on the type of juicer I’d like to buy ! 👏👏
I love you instantly when you bring the idea of putting the reminant front t ththe other blender in the other blender cos you do exactly what am thinking

He actually showed it

Strawberries and ice. Not the ice on my wrist
wich house can you recomend it, please I want to buy a good one because the last time I buy one that never work good
The amount of juice rendered from the slow masticating juicer from the pulp of the other juicer was jaw dropping!!!
Is more slow…
Slow but sure👍🏿👍🏿
Right
Hey .where can I make purchase ?
The slow one ......thanks in advance

I left juicing years ago after tossing my Jack LeLaine (centrifugal). Recently got a masticating and its a mind blowing difference ! 🤯
That juicer was such a pain to clean
@@kateofone
Yes it was
I made a purchase based on your very informative and fact based explanation. Thank you!👊🏼
Bro thank you so much!!! I just went from zero knowledge on juicers, to full understanding!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I purchased the Confee juicer several years ago. I did not know that it was so much better at eliminating foam. I enjoyed watching your side-by-side example.
I’ve been searching for one but can’t find it. Can you tell me the brand you gave
i wasnt sure before if a masticating juicer was really worth it but definitely changed my perspective thank you

When you get 50% more juice by juicing the pulp from the fast machine...haha!! Great video! Gave me the information needed to finalize our juicer purchase.

Wow!!!!!! By far, the best comparison I have seen. 👍🏼 Thank you so much. This helps me decide. Amazing!!!!!
Wow! It speaks for itself. I need to buy slow juicer ASAP and get my daily Beetroot, Celery, Lemon and Ginger combo on! 👍🏾
